I just got introduced to Schecter, I recently picked up a 2010 Diamond P custom 4 and I am in LOVE! I've seen people playing these Exotics online a couple of times now. I'd actually be afraid to try one, as I don't have any business buying another bass right now. If I liked how it felt and played and sounded as much as I like my Diamond series, I'd be in trouble, because while I usually prefer solid color glossy finishes - that's a sexy looking bass right there with that wood finish and the black hardware. It's gorgeous!
Beautiful looking bass. Lost it a bit in the mix but was still able to get an idea of its capabilities. Any chance of doing another video with just the bass and running it through its paces. Cheers
I have the J-4 Exotic and oh my its a beast, when i bought it i played some Fenders Charvels and G&L etc but the J4 blew them all out of the water with its playability and tone
Nice! Such an awesome looking bass, really want one but there's virtually no audio samples or reviews of them anywhere. Might have to take a leap of faith!
I've had it for quite some time now and it's being used in a lot of recordings (mostly rock) I've been a part of. Happy to shed some light about it if you have any questions!
@@markrynkun4360 TBH I think I just need to get it. Ideally I'd just go try it in person but no local shops have them so I'd have to order it. I've never thought of Schecter when it comes to basses but after doing some reading up it seems like they're churning out some quality instruments under the radar.
I have the J-4 the jazz variant and it's an excellent bass, fantastic tones and playability had it for just over a year now and it's still the first bass I pick up when I play
I can hear it perfectly, maybe it's because I'm wearing headphones. These types of basses are perfect if you are a Hired Gun, and P Basses in general are because they want you to "Sit in The Mix" in other words "buried" in the mix, and most P Basses get buried.
Nice demo! And he sets the priorities 100% correct: Don't buy new pants, just get a bass! :-P

Yeah, back track way too loud.
I mean I heard the bass just fine in context. Sounds good to me.

Same here! Really enjoy these basses.
Interesting I may have to add this to the collection. I am just getting ready to get a G&L but may get this instead.
@@mixc8 I still stand by this 8 months later, the more I break it in the better it gets
Thank you would have been nice to hear the bass by itself but
Dude! This destroys!
I know this might be a goofy question but is that the maple neck cause yours looks darker than all other J4s and I love it
Roasted maple!
This is the only video for the Schecter P4 exotic so far
Absolutly perfect
Shoot, I really wanted to hear the bass.
Wow! 😮what an amazing new electric guitar from Schecter! 😮 ... Whoa wait a minute.. What is that bass player doing there? 🤔 🤔🤔 Oh I see.. 🤨🤨🤨
A handsome gentleman, sexy bass playing, AND a wicked t-shirt??? Inconceivable!
Haha thanks Luke!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

@@haydnr01 well my p-4 exotic gets delivered in the next hour 😬😬😬
Hi!! nice playing!! Does the pickguard is made of aluminium or plastic? hope you can answer me
Yessssssss
Awesome stuff!
Thanks!
Also great shirt!
Was a guitar demo or bass demo?
Band sounds good! But just do a demo with your riffs!
THIS IS THEE best way to demo a bass, that is when bass sounds better and how it cuts through with other instuments
Just like these modern rock songs, I can't hear the bass. Perfect if you want an invisible bass guitar.
I hear it perfectly!
But indeed the volume could be higher.
Every nuance of the bass is lost by the blaring guitar’s
