I have the Omen Elite 4 in the Black Cherry burst, my first Bass when I started to learn. Honestly bought it because of its looks and have come to love it for how it feels and plays for me!
I'm a lefty, so I love Schecter; I used to live in the UK, so I love Dagan's accent; I'm a silly rocker, so I love Dagan's stance. Well, there's a lot to love here, isnt't there?
Wonderful review on Schecter basses. I played a Stiletto Custom for several years. I recently upgraded to the C-4 GT. I was about to get a much more expensive bass, but I saw the C-4 hanging in the music store, played it and fell in love with the playability and pick ups. Incredible basses!
Schecter makes phenomenal bass guitars. I own a schecter stiletto extreme 5-string bass and it is one of my most treasured bass guitars. I’ve always liked the stiletto basses for its smooth curvaceous design and superb versatility. The other schecter basses sounded pretty good too. Their j bass and the c5 bass sound phenomenal 😎🤘🏻🎸
I have the SLS Elite-5 and the craftsmanship and tone are amazing. Needs no upgrades. The Fishman pickups capture a range of sound. The prices on all the Schecter basses are way undervalued. These will be the basses collectors will be hot for in 15 - 20 years.
Cool vids. Your demos r always entertaining. Thanks man. And that groove u started with was tight. And yes. Got a special Schecter arriving in a month. Absolutely stoked 🤙
I had a riot 5 once, it was the nicest bass I've ever played. Unfortunately the neck was a shapeshifter from morning to night so I had to let it go. Beautiful basses amazing tone
Bought a new c-4 gt "trans blue" yesterday! Brought it home, set it up to my preferences then had rehearsal that night. With the GT my EQ settings didn't change any discernable amount, which is nice if I feel like switching basses. My go to bass has EMG pj pickups. Imagine GK head and Eden cabinet sound. After practice and playing some this morning, I'll say, back to back it plays marginally better than my other bass with a bolt on neck, hangs great when standing and fits my skinny body, a great fit! Drummer said it's punchier. I noticed it's nearly stone silent when you're trying to be, pro tools reveals all!!! Would recommend. No remorse. Love the color and especially the fit. Nicely done Schecter ❤
I currently own a 2019 riot in the same color and have been interested in the SLS 5 string. Do you mind comparing the SLS to the riot for me? I wanna know how you feel about the riot in comparison to see if it’s something I may enjoy more or not.
@@pwdt4r313 The Evil Twin is lighter weight-wise. It's maybe less raucous because the Riot has an 18v preamp. Both are awesome but I personally prefer the ET. Rodney McG did good comparison videos of the two
Doing a tone tour of the 3 Schecter VI series (Bass VI style guitars) --- Hellcat-VI - Hellraiser C-VI - Robert Smith UltraCure VI --- would be interesting.
Is the omen like a p bass ? Also I have the 5 string iamond series hellraiser , where's YOUR HELLRAISER?! nice review though I love my schecter bass and guitars
I have the SLS Elite 4. It's great, I've had it for a couple of years now. However, I love the look of the jazz one. I'd be more than happy to own one. Not lame at all. I just wish they made a Precision version. Stick a mirrored scratchplate on it and it would be perfect!
I’ve had 2 Schecters… the first one I bought was (supposedly) brand new from Sweetwater. It had electrical issues right out of the box. Scratchy pots, various crackling. Turns out there was sand…yes SAND in the battery compartment and it seems as though the bass had gotten wet at some point. I was pi$$ed. Luckily Sweetwater was awesome and reimbursed me for the bass plus return shipping. The second one I bought was from a pawn shop so you never know what you’re going to get. Within a couple weeks… electrical problems. Sold it for parts. Not saying I wouldn’t buy another, but it may take some convincing. Please make suggestions! I’m always open. I like the Stealth 5.
Can you tell me the difference or comparison with the omen-4 Gloss black and the stiletto extreme 4? I'm stuck between the 2 and need some answers and why? Would be greatly appreciated!
I bought a Stiletto Stage 5 through PMT here in Bristol years ago. It's a cool looking bass but honestly too much versatility for me. The level of variation provided by the EQ circuit is just lost on me. I barely use it and it cost me a small fortune. Worse still the electrics are such bad quality that I can't anyway, there's a ton of noise and the volume pot became loose after just a year. PMT couldn't provide me with a decent gig bag even after buying an £800+ instrument from them. I had to buy a horrible Stagg bag as there were no other options. They wouldn't service it either after the faults became clear and were standoffish with me. PMT are not interested in aftercare, they are here to make money. Schecter customer service were no help. I can't even in good conscience sell the damn thing knowing all of it's faults.
YEAH THAT SHIT HARD!!!! BUT U GUYS NEED TO GET A ARTIST TO THUMP ON THE DEMO CAUSE DAGAN IS ALL HEAVY METAL I WOULD ASK MARCUS MILLER OR VICTOR WUTEN JUST SWITCH UP DEGAN IS COOL BUT SHOW OTHER PPL TO DO THE DEMO AS WELL HOPE THIS IDEA IS HELPFUL

I loved my Stiletto Studio 5! I don't play anymore but I passed it on to a nephew who will rock it for years to come!

A demo of a 5-string bass where the B string is actually used. This guy gets it!
I love my Stiletto.
Always have -Always will (Braveheart voice)
The Schecter Stiletto Studio-8 Bass Guitar is my favorite for sure

I was strongly considering the SLS Elite 5 but I got a dingwall instead. I still want that damn SLS though lol
@@pwdt4r313as an SLS owner u should buy it
Been aiming to pick up an SLS Elite in the 5-string Evil Twin variety
I bought an Omen 5 string second hand and i just find it incredibly playable. Use it much more than i initially anticipated due to its versatility.
I’m very excited about Charles Bearthoud’s signature bass
Yes, I concur... Schecter makes great Bass Guitars along with great Guitars.

I have a P-4 Exotic, great bass
Love this my man you are kicking.
I have a c4 gt bass and it goes so hard
Got myself a 2019 Riot in Aurora Burst and an SLS Evil Twin. Awesome basses.
The SLS Evil Twin is basically the Elite's cool goth sibling.

@@teresaravenshaw5477 I’ve seen his videos on the riot and one on the SLS but not the comparison. I’ll go look. Thanks!!
@@pwdt4r313 There's one where he talks about the difference, though not an in-depth shoot out. He preferred the Riot.
The short scale & sls are most appealing spec & playability wise.
Im an owner of 2 schecter basses. I like the 35 scale ( on their 5 strings) and flat fretboard radius.
Great intro bro 🎉
Love my Schecter bass! (Those thin c necks are great for us smaller females.)
Thanks for the great review on different Schecter basses! Please do a comparison between Spector Dimensions 5 and the new dimension 5hp

I just ordered an Omen Elite 5. I think I'm going to be more than satisfied with my purchase.
Update: I'm very very satisfied with my purchase
I had an omen elite 5. Personal preference I didn’t take to the 5 and went with a 4 instead but a killer bass.
@@TheMlvswoll That's totally fair. 5 strings definitely aren't everyone's cup of tea.
I don't remember the exact model, but my high school had one in the music room.
love a Schecter bass , what was that groove you played at the start ? sounded Awesome!
I'd like to know more about the Session bass on the wall behind you! 😮
Great. The only stores in Europe where you still have a chance to get a Schecter J-5 aren't even fully in Europe anymore.
Schecter makes everything better recently 😅
What are you talking about? 3:45
“One volume, fridge?, and a master tone control”
What is that knob?
Is the omen like a p bass ?
Also I have the 5 string iamond series hellraiser , where's YOUR HELLRAISER?!
nice review though I love my schecter bass and guitars
kh 202 or kh v?
Have you tried the Stiletto Studio-5 Fan Fretted?
The non-Fender ones look amazing. Who needs yet another copy of a lame Jazz Bass...
Why lame?

I think the regular Omen uses Schecter pups and the Stilleto extreme has either fishman or EMGs but I could be wrong.
I didn’t know Captain Jack Sparrow played bass guitar. Lol
Cool bass👍🏻
Two years ago, had a Schecter Bass start smoking. This all happened at a Guitar Center. while trying to repair it.
I’ve owned 2 Schecters (1 brand new and 1 used) and both had electrical problems. The one I bought new was effed right out of the box.
they sound better than fender basses
The riot 5

Dagans really starting to sound like a hell of a bass player
Any time I see abalone I wanna throw up
Get an actual bass player to review these.
I was listening until he said it literally plays itself. Im leaving now. I dont believe anything you say. Its probably crap or would not lie.

God so tired of fender copy style guitars and basses. Why don't companies make their own cool designs. It's so lame
