This is a great reminder of the Parallel Realities album which I listened to a lot. The tune stands up well, and everyone plays so well, especially Jack, I love it when he just goes for it.
Yes, I just heard a cut from that yesterday. Jack, does another, 7/8/ thing .. incredible musicians,, I met and HUNG OUT w/ these dudes back then in N.Y. ...
I hear shades of American Garage here. Over the decades only a small handful of guitarists truly bonded with guitar synthesis, for one thing technique has to be insanely clean. (i know, I've used most of the GR series, and several of the alternatives). Frankly, PM is the master - lightning fast flurries with nary a glitch. BTW full props to Holdsworth as well, but to be fair the Synthaxe he favored isn't really a guitar per se - whole different set of rules on it.
'Everyone wants him to be an electric OP'. Who the hell ever said that, save perhaps some journalist that might've written something like the once? Also, the fact that you resort to some personal attacks ('so full of himself') in an attempt to validate your criticism, speaks more about the chips on your shoulder than about anything objective regarding HH playing. 'Sloppy'? Seriously? Compared to ?
That is music...

Great all-star lineup and performance. Thanks for posting; these are some of my favorite musicians.
A new form of jazz called Nu jazz is a nascent genre that's a mixture of jazz and electronic music and free improvisation.

Another killer performance from this concert. BTW, the audio and video reproduction is decent, but the videography is 🔥
Herbie was so over rated. Everyone wants him to be an electric Oscar P but he’s just so full of himself and … sloppy
Hah, Chuckie is baiting !
