Jase looks pissed
I hope everyone is ok, been watching for many years. You've come a long way from the early days with the patrols, feel for you Jase.
Maybe slower and some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT tyres could have had a better chance of success?
Interesting how you guys aren’t as big as 4WD247 but you’re on TV. What’s the story there, is it you guys have more connections with the mainstream media? Both of your channels are good, just curiousity, that’s all.
62k ,u.s $, they said.. now theres an intelligent street sign.. first bridge.. lot of thought there..
The Chevy hit the levy, but the levy was high
😂
And the good old boys couldn’t do anything but cry
Went to like the comment. But it was already at 69 likes
😂gold
I would have been drinking whiskey and wine if it was my Chevy 😰
Props for not making Jesse feel to bad, he was obviously gutted that he wrecked his mates car. What you guys showed was that mates are more important than stuff. Glad Jesse was not injured!!
I don't know, maybe they cut the bits but Jasse seemed more worried and miffed a out the truck. Didn't see him enquire as to how Jesse was
He did ask him a couple of times right after the incident and ran down immediately to make sure he was ok so don't suggest for a minute that he didn't care about Jesse, of course he's also processing what just happened and he was clearly in shock as well because he still had two other vehicles to get down the wet slippery hill so yeah a lot was going on for him.@@jo_clarke1960
yea that and that the sponsor will get another call with all the gear.. cmon mate as if they actually buy stuff anymore
Ahaha jase was much more worried about the car, everyone knows not do the creb in wet but hey let’s send 17t Chevy down it ahahha
@jo_clarke1960 he's definitely worried about his car. But he did also askhow Jesse was.
Putting an ad right after someone rolls a car. You guys are ruthless.
Thought the same about that 300 tofu
? No they didn’t.. either way they gotta pay the excess some how lol
For an awning on the roof 😂
@@grantperkins368 😂
I started watching EP1 and thought to myself, "It's way too wet and you a-holes know it, stop doing this for views and f-ing tracks up"
Then the rollover and I thought, "Interesting insurance claim, but I doubt there is any because these flogs are way too risky".
I guess at least they got it off the track so someone else didn't have to. Kudos for that bit.
If anyone under 40 watches these types of action youtube channels or on the TV on a Sunday, these are not your aspirational heroes. He who goes, sees, does and doesn't break anything including the track is the winner.
These guys are flogs with too much money and not a whole lot of regard for the space they are in.
I was going to say something similar but I chickened out. 😂
I was pretty surprised with how concerned Simon was when this went down, basically surfing down the hill barefoot shouting to get a response from Jesse, I did not expect such a warm and big heart to come out like that. Good on you mate
not much of a mate if he didn't.
Don't forget It's for entertainment mate, the camera man was standing at the front right wheel, filming up the hill, so either the camera man didn't care to check on Jesse first, and stop recording, as you would do I a proper emergency.. or .. then he did and them they re-filmed them coming down the hill for better RUclips footage..
@@nonameuser3180 Probably just the magic of editing.
I wasn’t surprised, Simon is old school tough but when the shit hits he’s the sort of bloke you’d want there. 😉
Employment law, that's why
This show has become so stupid.
All we see is $1 million dollars worth of car-shaped advertising platforms being driven a couple of hundred metres interspersed with dozens of cuts to camera of a guy talking on the radio.
Then all they achieve is tearing up a track to go practically nowhere for a 45 minute episode. Some of the driving is what you would expect from young guys with green P Plates…
I remember the first series with Jase and Roddo - all filmed themselves, no sponsorship and they actually went to some cool places. Like they actually got to a destination in the actual episode…
This is all so dorky now.
Show gets momentum, sponsorship is required to fund said show, sponsors have big say in footage and production, bigger risks are taken to get clicks. There is a certain inevitability in these things, sadly. No way I would take my rig down that in those conditions. Wait a bit for things to dry enough or come back another day.
Have a cry ya wanker, they go plenty of places, and if the creb track is open then you can drive it, tear it up you may

It's called entertainment
You should do your own show 💩🤡
Brakes on wheels locked, no steering the driver becomes a passenger. Easier in hindsight, but in the low range use the gas pedal only when needed. The main thing is no injuries insurance ,sponsors contractual funds, probably cover the damage easily.
Watch the video again, he was driving through the brakes.
@@deangoodsell3478 around 16:34 he's locked up and just a passenger. Agreed he's still got steering and the wheels are turning until the camera angle changes at 16:29. The Dmax camera car made it down, they must have done something different....but the sensible option would have been to wait it out or even winch it down.
yep @17:50, front and rears locked up. The poser ute too heavy as well.
The real question is why on God's green earth would you ever pay 250,000 for a Chevy truck?
Good point mate... 👍
"I'm just gonna go for it boys, see yous down the bottom" famous last words
Then bulk talk afterwards
I live nearish the C.R.E.B. track. It's common knowledge that you don't drive it when it's wet. I'm surprised it was open at all in those conditions of threatening rain.
Not common enough
It wasn't open .
its content.. read my comments..
Having driven the CREB track one myself, I have to concur.
If it is to slippery to stand up and walk, forget driving through.
Gravity simply overcome any traction, and the hills turn into a slip n slide.
The boys should drive the Laura to Maytown track, a very challenging 4wd trip.
Just crazy at this time of year, especially after 2 cyclones in 6 weeks
This fellow 4WDers is why you don't drive the Creb Track while it's raining. Wait for it to dry out or carry chains like the locals. Can't wait to watch this one!!
His incompetence was the major factor
@JasonMaly 100%
Can see he tried to take that run off to the left
And also didn't really know where his wheel centre was when it was sliding he was all over the shop with wheel input..
Anyway we live and learn
Spot on anthony
@@JasonMaly I'd say it was more lack of experience and being put in a terrible situation, like taking the lead driving a boat down a mud slide...
As soon as I saw this I thought chains were the only safe approach. Hindsight and all of that... glad everyone is ok.
Been on creb track heaps of times, only once when it rained. Never again, we had to up that hill not down. Thank goodness for tyre chains.
this is why you have a winch, front / rear, or 1 in a cradle.. with extra winch rope, & rings.. watch casey ladelle. month or so ago..
Wow, certainly some scary stuff. So glad Jesse is ok.
You guys always definitely keep us entertained. Well done 👌👌👌
Sorry Jason feel for you 😢 great teamwork to get out of that situation ! Thank God You are all safe . Take care 🇦🇺👍😀
You don't drive the CREB in these conditions... Pull over and wait it out. But this makes great viewing guys. Hope all is well. Jesse is more experienced in this area and was put in front in the big rig.
Most other cars would of been fine, these guys are basically steering land yachts up 😂
Camera car D-Max made it down that hill first.
If you cannot see it was set up well joke on who?
I thought the creb track was always closed when wet?...
To have a better chance of success the chevy needed some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT tyres, the tyres used filled up with mud to easily, plus going slower would have helped.
Im in tears for Jesse. I love him on this, I just pleased he is OK I feel for them all
Absolutely LOVIN this series lads! FNQ is made for these 4x4 adventures :)
❤ After all these year of following your adventures. I'm glad yous are all still safe and sound. These things happen on the big jobs. Only difference is you guys basically work full time on the big jobs 👍💪
All class from the boys straight to caring about your mate over the 200k plus car! ❤ insurance can’t replace your mates
Half of these mobs doing the most outrageous things possible always full sending vehicles in terrible conditions to get views is becoming a more and more common trait. These things are going to happen. Completely unrealistic as to what someone who isn't influenced by filming an episode would do. Hope everyone learnt from this and is in good health.
Really shows just how quickly things can go wrong! We're glad Jesse is all ok!
Recently watched the rig build on YT. Jas put a lot of $$$ and effort into that truck. Look forward to seeing the break down video. Jesse was gutted. He was a good addition to the show. I wonder if the roll over was the reason we had a shorter season this year. If thats the case - I think Jesse owes us a beer. Cant wait for your next adventure. Had the pleasure of meeting Jas at the 4wd show a few years back. Allowed me to chew his ear for a half and hour discussing a few things on my 79 build . These guys are top blokes and salt of the earth. Hope the aerial got fixed
Wheels locked up. That’s why it’s always better to leave in low range and don’t touch the pedals.
Yes. As soon as it started understeering he locked the brakes, then was a passenger.
But without a lot of handling this situation, the reflex is to hit the brakes, no time to think it through.
I rally a front wheel drive car, and it takes practice for the reflex be to let go the brakes and hit the throttle when understeer hits.
There was time and distance when it started understeering to recover, and a jab on the throttle would have snapped the front back to the right.
But it takes a lot of driving through that situation to change the normal reflex of standing on the brakes.
About 10 years ago, I wrote a Volvo S60 off. Hit a Bus, went into a metal railing, my Wife had to be cut out. The amazing thing was, the Engine never stopped running. When I went to the recovery pound to get some item's out of the Car, I tried the engine and it started first time. ( My Wife was fine by the way).
First time watching your vids and enjoyed it. Felt totally sorry for the Lad driving, I felt his embarrassment but it could have happened to any of them.
Good viewing, 4wheel driving, like usual, we love watching A4A pushing the limits to the last 1% before an oops, this time it was the Chev going into the 1%. Rebuild, return and rev it Jesse. 🍻
Good viewing until the end when you needlessly had to rip up all that grass, not very professional at all.
18:39 That is why I don’t drive other people’s vehicles. You never know. When it’s yours, it hurts one person. But when it is someone else’s, then two people get hurt ( financially and trauma ).
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezuz!!!!!!!! Man oh man. Could a been a lot worse. Kudos to you all for the cool headed calm recovery. Legends💪 Hope it’s a relative easy process to sort the big girl fellas. Simon’s barefoot mud run to the scene was impressive.
In the battle for clicks, the Aussie 4WD channels edge ever closer to a proper human tragedy.
Yeah you’re probably not wrong there
not before they get everything shut down
Jesse is a good dude and a nice addition to the crew. Shit happens not his fault.
I hope Jessie is ok! That's a nasty rollover. What a shame about the rig, but that can be replaced, people can't be.
It good to see that the camera crews getting involved in the video because they are part of the team
Makes me feel good that I drove the CREBB wet and survived without damage or injury..
Hope jess is ok and we see him again in the next series.
Love the yank tank but the bonnet is still called a bonnet boys, not a hood. 😂
Impressive recovery lads. Jessy is ok, you guys are ok. The vehicle can be replaced and the way you handled that was excellent.
And I saw a lot of hate comments about this
CHEV,lol, what an animal this thing is ,I think it's worthy of our Aussie Backyard .I'm glad no injuries was had! Can't wait for the next episode.
Yeah just don't let fkng idiots like these drive it 🙄
Imagine if these guys had to front the coin themselves 😂😂😂
Jase fronts the coin for all of it. Sponsors only go so far.
@@sorntrashtalking bs
Struth boys, thats full on 😢 could have happened to anyone, great display of how to react in situations like this, keep calm, make sure everyone is ok and slowly work through getting things right one step at a time whilst keeping positive. Well done all 🙌🏽👍🏽
Ah what a blow, feel sorry for all you guys. But you're all freaking legends for how you handled the whole situation!
At 20:38 you can see that something else has hit that berm. Interesting.
my comment.. practice where to drive it.. vid content..
Previous [* unsuccessful *] run of Chevy -v- levy?
Or someone a bit heavy on the bevvy[s]?
Good eye, fresh tyre track, practise run maybe?
Jessie is amazing!
At catching reptiles! 😂 glad your ok mate!
Im currently in Derby WA. Brought my Jeep over from ROckhampton. Unfortunatly hit a croc on the way over near Kunnanurra. Felt terrible but Jeep held true.. Wearing my All 4 Adventure shirt with pride. lol
,When we lived there we drove it as do many locals . We had a Mahindra as our DD and it had no dramas . No big power or big lifts , slow and steady wins the race on that track . That being said I can say that some of our best memories have been made with some of our most questionable choices lol. Cant wait to see the next build .
Great content, sorry about the truck. Glad Jesse was ok. Would carrying a pair of 4WD snow chains help in a similar situation for that treacherous downhill as it was like ice? Fitted to the front wheels, I suspect it would have controlled the descent, as it does on ice. Might be worth carrying for emergency decents like that.
Looking forward (and not at the same time :( ) to this one!! Hope all humans ok
Good viewing, 4wheel driving, like usual, we love watching A4A pushing the limits to the last 1% before an oops, this time it was the Chev going into the 1%. Rebuild, return and rev it Jesse.
One of those awnings on top would have been just the ticket 😊. Good work, lads, no one injured, nice vid.
Why would you let the least experienced driver lead the way in one of your cars Jase...glad everyone is ok. Great episode though fellas. That was awesome glad it was caught on camera.
The D-Max camera car was leading...
its content.. track was closed..
I'm only at 16:45 but this is no surprise. My Farther helped put the CREB through and the only stories I remember are the downhill ones. In Bedfords, I think.
Been watching you for years top adventure this one clad Jessie wasn't hurt, well done boys ❤ it
Been nice knowing ya Jessie, good luck with your future employment wherever it may be
And I don’t know why Jason doesn’t carry a spare driveshaft, he bust enough of them
Given the amount of hours you guys put in on the tracks... and the level of technical difficulty some of those tracks are... sometimes chaotic things just happen! Great that no-one got hurt. It happens to the best of us... and when it does... it's usually so quick there's no time to do anything much about it and you're there for the ride...
Seeing simon and jase then jesse shows the difference in experience even down to communication
Hats of to the camera car for going first and not coming unstuck.
These are the two guys you want at the ready in a situation like this. Good effort to get to him so fast
Deploying the Jeremy Clarkson rule: Speed and POWER!!
Wooww!! That probably was what happened to the other white vehicle that was ditched. Hope Jessie is ok. Can't wait to watch this..
Love the comments from all the Facebook engineers and professional rally drivers, well done all the nobodies who have never driven anything more than the Maccas drive through.
Come on mate. Some of those maccas drive through are real narrow with tight turns and big curbs. Very easy to roll a car like this if u take the corner to sharp and ride up the curve.. its alot more technical then u think 😂
Especially in the wet..@@hardmcshaft7931
BI am surprised you have not reached over 1million subscribers yet. You guys are great from Mauritius island...
Wow that was intense glad Jesse OK, boy's stay safe.👍🇦🇺
there is no way he could have controlled that roll over. outside of anyones control. glad he is ok.
Not being there in the first place..
And it has a rear winch.
Holly smokes, hope Jeese is ok. That was crazy, need to do the CREB TRACK in the wet now. Don't read the comments lol, best advertising ever, pretty sure this will go viral.
Ha I drove the CREB track 44 years ago in an ex-postie 2wd Transit Van.
Didn't anyone tell you not to go near the CREB track if its wet not even if there are clouds above it. But then at the end i did get stuck in the Daintree River 😂
Great content anyway 👍. Only money $$$
& jase has plenty! All good
Interesting from the video inside the Chev at 20 minutes you can see some one else has made tracks up the exact same hill. I wonder who that was and what happened there?
Are you going to do a rollover review of the Norweld canopy? I think it would have helped prevent a crushed cabin roof.
Wow so many haters here. Why do Aussies always bash other Aussies so hard for doing silly shit. Doing silly shit is literally our past time.
As for the ads - these things require money. If you don’t like the ads then skip them with the ya know, skip button or simply don’t watch the video
Just a bunch of flogs that have nothing better to do but talk crap. Probably just mad that Jase and Simon get to do what they love and make money while doing it.
Jesse channelling the 12th man's rib cracking gymnast Rick Dizneck. What happened? "I just f*cked up". Glad all are okay.
Onya Jase for not being one of those guys who throws the blame straight away, and lets anger getting in the way of a safe recovery, accidents happen unfortunately this one was a rippa
Here's 2 very good tips to remember always walk ahead and check the track if you can't see it. And its not a race take ya time you want get there safely and with no or little issues but most importantly number 1
I learnt to ride and drive on that same red clay with lots of yellow and grey tossed in, in the rainforest, up FNQ..When it's wet like that, you kinda have to drive batshit wild.. yet, the Runnels in the clay, have the most say in the whole show. Nice to know no-one was hurt.. :)
Out of everything as soon as it’s upright, Simon… “ya not gunna like this, he’s broken the aerial” I’m dying in laughter
One thing I learned out of this, buy a D max
Been waiting to see what happened, glad to see Jesse was a little shaken but ok from the experience, looking forward to the next series and more episodes! Get him back in the saddle and on to the next track!
Much as I enjoy watching you guys, I really think that your personal PPI, eg, boots should be on during these type of recoveries. I understand the mud etc, but personal safety should be paramount. You can replace a car, not a lost foot. No dampening blankets.
The camera car blokes are probably the most underrated part of this show.
They were in front, so I would have liked to have seen them going down the hill to see how they did it...
Much lighter vehicle, much more carefully done. They were basically aiming for an " exciting" video for the Chevy....SIGH
That Creb track, you can go in dry on the north end then it turns to shit on southern end. You never know what are going to get. It can be scary, scary place, give me sand any day 😮
Gold, just gold. The bonnet is open 😂😂
17:30 As soon as you start skidding and lose control floor it!. I know It sounds counterintuitive but centrifugal force will clear the tyres of mud at a certain point and you can regain a certain level of control. This is relative to the particular situation, so please take it as you will.
Says the guy working in forestry in steep hill country.
Can’t believe that Chevy was drivable after the rollover, what a beast. Great recovery fellas
for 62k u.s. dollars.. it better fly..
@@harrywalker968 they are 150k here in Aus bud
And 100K in Europe
The vast majority of cars are capable of driving after a rollover.
Dad rolled his Ap5 wagon on an embankment like that. It sat on it's lid for 2 hours before being righted and started easily.
Wow... so lucky, I thought the Airbag Module would have taken out the main power fuses as fire safety measure. , very impressed when it fired up.
It’s American built mate not European
What I find amazing is the the roof of the cab didn’t cave in. GM built these Chevy’s strong 💪.
Had to happen. Have really been pushing their luck to make episodes more exciting.
The owner of the fwd showed no concern for the driver at all, more worried about his truck then the other guy's safety... Good friend ya got there mate...
He literally asked if he was alright
Jason looked so upset , what a crazy situation.
But insurance helps and he’s alive so it is what it is.
Isn't it funny how all the keyboard hero's come out of the closet, saying how Jesse stuffed up, locked the brakes, too inexperienced etc etc.......... You weren't there guys, the cars electronics could have stopped the wheels turning, the weight of the vehicle and the camber of the track......or any number of things you may not be able to see in the video could have contributed. You enjoy watching right? So just do that without the insults, or if you think you are so good go do it yourself.
Nobody wants your "expert" opinion. If you are so good then show us your video!.
It will buff out.
Legends
Your in good hands Jesse.
16:43 Of course he’s there mates. That’s why seat belt saves your life. It did mine last year when I had horrific accident. Because of the belt, saved my life.
The camera crew car driver didn't have a problem getting down that hill lol. How embarrassing for Jesse....
it would be half the weight of that chev.
And how embarrassing for the Chev lol...
Cameraman never dies!
staged.. content.. promotions.. sponsores.. now they sell more chevs..
So who drove up the bank before the truck that crashed (you can see vehicle tracks in the mud? Did they roll as well?
.Hope Jesse is ok. You can always replace vehicles you can't replace people.
Tell you what It was an unfortunate event, but I’m definitely fan of this channel now.
The clay here in GA is slick as owl poop right after it rains but if you wait about an hour the traction becomes excellent just as they found. Man I would love to travel those Australia tracks, theres nothing like them here in the US really
"is the hand brake on in there Jesse"
"Hah don't think so mate"
"Go put the hand brake on mate"
"Hah" confused thoughts
"I'm serious"
"It's electric"
"Oh is it ha"
Best part for me 24:35
20:38 You can see there was tyre track on that bank already
Very disappointed to see someone I respected as being reasonably responsible, long gone are the days of reputable 4WD people teaching new comers what to do correctly, from saving tracks from closure and safety. I won the CREB track rally put on by the local Toyota Dealer back in 1990 in our little old Toyota Hilux ute. no raised suspension no dif. locks just the standard old 1800 motor, standard size AT tyres:-) just shows all this sponsored gear, to take your money is unnecessary, with skill? have always had split rims on all my vehicles no extra wide sand digger tyres and have hardly ever let my air pressure out. Travelled around Oz for 5 years back in late 90's in our 80 series, been just about been everywhere in that time, never been bogged, used my recovery gear heaps of times, for the over modified vehicles with armatures driving, with no idea what they are doing, copying all the new experts being directed by sponsor directors I imagine, never in standard vehicles, but with $70- $80 thousand dollars worth of extras to get them through? Just saying time for a change of attitude.🤠
You guys are loose as. I don't have the money to trash my Hilux like that, but I love what youz maniacs are doing. I have been watching you guys for years . Keep it up and I will keep fishing and exploring. Cheers Andrew. Newcastle NSW. LEGENDS 😂
Keep that Chevy just like that for Jessie!
QLD gov keeps crying: If its wet: forget it. Real 4WDers: If its wet use Toyota with experience! We had a stubborn Austrian flip a Nissan. No issue with even a Hilux. Going downhill a greasy track takes preparation, time, and guts to get off the brakes long enough to find grip again. Keep heavy loads off the roof!
Not suprised the chev ended up that way look back on the video no throttle to help steer in slippery conditions
