Reuben is an absolute champ. Scary roll over and a decent bit of damage and the dude just keeps smiling. Love seeing him on the show. Absolute legend 👏 🙌
@@dirtymuddyweekends you’re a legend mate! Just watched the cape york one where you were towing Bailey pretty much the whole way back from Pascoe 😂 Great rig you’ve got!

Between running out of fuel and calling it a break down AND the old “right hand down RIGHT HAND DOWN!” Shauno might owe Reuben a couple PALLETS of beer.
I think Shawno owes Ruben much more than just a few beers ! He was spotting for Ruben not to mention Ruben was helping Shawno ! I think Shawno should buy himself a new fuel guadge and fill the tank every time he goes 4X4ing !
Great episode fella's! On New year's Day this year about a week into a solo roadtrip from Brissy to Mt Kosciuszko and back I bogged my faithful 105 series cruiser. About 3 in the afternoon I was scoping out a campground for the night when I put the big girl in a massive hole. Off camber, absolutely burried, no winch, the shovel wasn't making a dint and I had no reception. So, I packed a bag with some water and walked to a nearby river where I found some golden 4G. With 10% battery remaining I posted on a Facebook 4wd group that I'm frequent on with a few photos and my location. A local in a twin locked troll came to winch me out a few hours later. Once out it was mud holes and more recoveries to get off the track. Ended up getting off the track at midnight feeling very relieved! Shoutout to Darren for getting me out! If you're reading this mate, you're an absolute legend and I'm very grateful you went out of your way to help a stranger out. A quality winch is now high my on list!

It's one thing with the fuel, but it's not so much "what everyone missed" but Shauno spotting Reuben right up the bank and onto his side, a couple of slabs two doors and a roof rack sounds a bit more on point for being that kinda mate 😂
Easily the most entertaining show that's come out in some time. Had a good laugh at Shauno showing some remorse for the events of the day and cooking dinner 😂
Have to give it to Reuben shows the experience immediately turning off that engine and such a legend just laughing it off.. Shauno owes him a Carton of Iron Jack for sure! 😂
Our biggest fail was an open in some weather and a cheeky 4wd in lockdown. To not draw attention we all went wheeling in one car, the car fell into a rut and couldn’t get it out. The winch was not roped and was essentially just a bull bar ornament and the car ran out of fuel from being on a gnarly angle. We called a friend to come help us and the same angle blew the engine in his hilux because he didn’t have enough oil in it. This all happened at the Kurri Kurri electrical line tracks and what was meant to be a couple of hours turned into a day, a fuel truck and a write off worth of adventure.

This has to be the best episode yet by far. So Glad everyone was safe just goes to show how risky it can be. A winch is clearly a must have bit if kit. One day as money allows I will fit one to my Discover 3.
The show is great as always but I have to say Ruben is such a great guy, always laughing and being positive, must be great hanging our with him, love seeing him on the show as he brings the power, wheel lifts, and fun for sure! Shauno owes him BIG time hahahah
Rueben is gold on this show and always smiling no matter what. Rueben you're an amazing bloke, keep your head high and spirits higher, keep up the great work and big smiles, love watching youse have fun. Thanks for reading 🤗🤙🍻
If it wasn't for 4WD 24/7, I'd never know of DMW industries or any of the other 4x4 accessories/upgrades companies. This show really does promote these companies heavily without really saying much, just bringing the reps along with their own 4x4s does the job perfect. As a Gold Coaster new to 4x4ing, this show has well educated me and I can't wait to one day meet Reuben & get a DMW fitted to my vehicle. Also, Reuben is super entertaining with his 'hold nothing back' driving style.... love it!
Just started watching and have to say the image quality seems much higher on this episode. You guys have such an awesome film crew, thanks for the entertainment and inspiration!
My biggest fail was after wiring up my 12 volt and the car wouldn’t start. Thinking it was a dead battery I tried hill starting it in reverse down the driveway which ended up getting me stuck in the middle of the road. After solo pushing it back off the road in the rain I finally realised the positive terminal hadn’t even been reconnected 🤦🏻♂️
My brother and I went into a deep hole. Ended up to be about 6 feet deep. Can filled with water and I had to keep the truck running while my brother litterally had to go under water to hook a winch to us to pull us out. It was fall and the water was probably 50 degrees 🥶 we got out and kept her running! I could have used a winch on my rig. Luckily he had one to pull me out!
“She’ll be right moment” Needless to say, going up a hill that I have been up before, two front wheels off the ground and a couple bounces later, the rear diff centre decided to say good bye. Threw some teeth off the crown wheel and pinion. Had to trailer it home. So much for a quick arvo drive 😅
Love the show guys!! After watching you guys for a while I went and brought my first 4x4 nearly 2yrs ago. Got a second hand LN167 with all the bar work, winch, etc. First thing I did was drive down a random dirt road with the kids looking to drive on something that wasn’t bitumen. Got the kids all excited. Made it 500 metres before I bellied out on both diffs. My 30” wheels just spinning in the 35” tracks. It was then that I learnt the winch hanging off the front didn’t work. No maxx tracks. No recovery gear. Not my finest moment. We weren’t far from help so it wasn’t a huge stress. But definitely a massive fail for a 1st try. One my kids love to remind me about nearly every time we head down a dirt track I’m still in the market for a new winch ;)
Early. Nice. Sorry Jace and Simon, I love ya, but Shawn and Graham are on a different level. Simply the best adventure TV on the net. Nice work, keep it up fellas!
Really impressed with how plush Rubbin's suspension was on the steep climb he did after the rollover.. very very smooth. Great episode lads, fair play! Now, when is Rocket joining the party again?
Good to see noone hurt in the roll over, me on the other hand am still recovering from a low speed multiple roll over, resulting in a cracked sternum,T8 wedge fracture, stomach muscle seperation, and a shagged shoulder, All in a day's work boys, LOVING THE ADVENTURES GUYS,KEEP THEM COMING PS, IM NOT FAR FROM IMBIL, KENILWORTH,
Was in a car rollover at 100kmh and walked away unscathed. The fact you got bad luck on a low speed rollover is terrible. Get better champ. That is going to take many months to sort. :(
Gday My biggest fail was when I went to the powerlines in my old 4wd. Absolutely cruising enjoying it big time and then saw a big line of little puddles on the side track, I went through about 3 of them then on the 4th one which looked the same size my car just dipped and next minute the water covered my windscreen, my car turned off and my air filter was drenched. Had no spares or anything so was a long drive back home with no air filter with my fingers crossed it wasn’t the last time I drove in the car ahaha.
Nice job Shauno. Not only did you manage to run out of fuel which made Ruben reverse back up that hill, you also spotted him onto his side. 🤪 Don't blame the stump 🤣
Very impressed with the d max! I’m always impressed with my sequoia it does things you wouldn’t think it should be able to do. Nothing like some good wheeling and testing
I've been watching you lads for a few years and this was probably my favourite episode yet! 🙌🏻. Call of the show from Shauno after Reuben rolled the 79 "It's probably running better if anything. You can thank me later" 😂😂😂
Epic episode! One of the best! Random question though guys, anyone carry a vice with them with receiver mount? Made one for my rig, and makes changing Uni's and knocking CV cups off the stubby shafts a piece of cake! 🤙🏼
As a newish viewer of 4WD 24/7 I've been going g through all the videos in a random order. Of all the vehicles so far....that D-Max......wow. It never fails in ANY of the challenges I've seen. I've got complete confidence in that thing. I would have never considered it before, but it's top of my list now for a new rig.
I think everyone, especially Reuben, did well not to lose their tempers in this one. It's easy to blame people when stuff happens. Shauno owes Reuben more than a couple of beers for that bad spotting.
this was one of the single best episodes! was not expecting that, just thought it would be another local-tracks epi. But the tracks were gorgeous and of course the mayhem and accidental adventure!
A professional 4x4 driver, you made the biggest rookie mistake, an empty tank going into the bush, Ruebens you took is so well, I am not sure I would have, and once again the GU film Nissan's to the rescue again.
This guy now has thousands of $$ worth of damage to his 4x4 because shauno the dumb arse forgot to get fuel in his own rig. I would have left you to rot in the bush. Clean and simple.
@@4TheMotorist Thst was one aspect of it but it was also his “spotter” as he’s reversing onto his roof…….can’t believe he wasn’t watching where the front was going…..as the old 79 isn’t exactly the flex king …… & the spotter was? 🤦♂️ Crikey !
As much warmth as I have for you Shauno 😂 I can’t believe how Reuben laughed everything off, I’m sure you guys will get him sorted out 😅 Great to see Reuben in the crew 😊
Oh, you silly boyz...this is by far my favorite episode!! Shawn, absolutely love your smooth attempt at deflecting from the whole fuel debacle, hilarious. Graham, you crack me up! Busting Shawn as he desugns his story to Rueben is priceless. The cooking portion, I think I may have peed a little laughing so hard...the outtakes...lmao! I so adore you guys! Thank you for the fun and laughs!
Seem that Shauno owes more than beers for the next few trips and some repairs to Rueben rig is in order….. truly love this group of guys And yes Rueben’s laugh is infectious….
Not sure I am spelling Shawn's name right but I've been watching you guys from Ontario Canada for a long time and ill say this. Shawn has been the man when it comes to leading the pack and knowing his 80. having a new rig always comes with learning curves! Every person that wheels assumes the risks no mater the risks when on the trail. Sure making sure fuel is key which I cant agree more with BUT a new rig is a new rig! I hope you guys took it easy on him! :) Cheers guys! Love watching the beautiful Australian country side.
Great videos guys once again. My biggest fail was pulling out a mate from a river after she got bogged. Then committing myself to go through it. Made it most of the way and the sunk half the car under the sand in boggy water. The tray was just above the water and rear axle and 33 inch tyres under the sand. It took an hour of prep work to pull the old girl out. It consisted of 3 snatch straps daisy chained with 2 LandCruisers and 8 maxtracks. Definitely need to invest in a winch because if I was alone she wasn't coming out. Got a few pics and videos of the recovery too. The old rig was weighing in at almost 3 tonne so she went down real quick.
Talk about action-packed! Just watched this on the morning of my 'positive' test - my breathing was alright before, but a bit of COVID and some gnarly drives, really gets the heart and lungs pumping! 😅 Absolutely loved this episode - thanks for all the work you guys put in each week!
Not sure what was more dangerous 🤔 the vehicle rollover or the potential scalding from draining the pasta 😂😂 Shauno- must buy Fuel and a Colander!! Hahaha
My biggest kook moment was selling my 105 series at the beginning of covid. Then realising my mistake. Now to replace it will cost me nearly double..... doh!!! Thats a slab Shauno!!! Any day of the week, or weekend....Own it Shauno you stuffed up good and proper... Ruben has such a positive attitude. Always there to lend a uand, and to take the mickey. Im sure he would make the trips heaps of fun.. Even though I'm sure there will be a few swear words later when he gets the 79 back into the shed in Toowoomba. But he caught it well when the winch broke too. Just so lucky no one got hurt.. safety is key regardless of the footwear... This episode just proves it.
Our biggest FAIL was only two weeks ago : decided let’s go for family night camping we got in great then on the way back tried the other side of the tree ended up bellied out stuck in mud with no winch 4 hours of digging mud later no success 🥵 called friend to tow us out pride out the window wish I could add photos on here and another bit of advice don’t listen to the kids which way to go .
Ruben you can roll it on the side and navigate the out back, but finding the rest rooms is another matter. Lol Good meeting you mate. Harlan Flagstaff, AZ Overland expo west.
I can't stop laughing while watching you lot having fun well, except when looking at the damage on the 79. A slab of beer from Shauno, just make sure you have enough "gum leave's" for your next trip, young fella. I did live just outside of "Kenny", (Brooloo), for a few years and raced down hill mountain bikes on those very trail's you drove in this ep. The Mary river valley/Charlie Moorland nat park area has some of the best 4x4ing /camping to be found a little further inland on the sunshine coast. Oh, and wow driving by all, Graham, you are a legend buddy.
My biggest fail was getting too close to the water on the beach. Next minute I’m 3/4 of a 33” tyre deep in the sand with 3 of us digging away with max tracks n a poop shovel watching the tide come in quick. Got her out tho 😵
I was out at Beachport SA with a few mates, and we were told to stay off a few particular beaches. Low and behold, we ended up on one of those beaches, and 3 of the 4 cars in our convoy got bogged. As we were bogged, the nav decided to do its clutch as well, so we ended up spending 4 hours pulling out the 3 vehicles with the unbogged vehicle (a triton of all cars), and then another 4 hours pulling the nav back towards to camp. Ended up ditching the nav just out of camp to go into town for a parmi 😅 it was quite the mission
Luv your show guys - it plays non stop in my man cave whilst I attempt to rebuild a little Zook. I have the utmost admiration for Rueben for not losing his sh#t re the roll over. Hmmm, biggest 4WD fail... My wife & I waited 20 years to revisit K'gari to tick-off Ngkala Rocks. 3 kids later we finally made it there last year which was the second attempt following the fires. This time we were in a modern vehicle with Traction Control which automatically turns itself on each time you start. I spent the first few days repeatedly telling my Son who just got his licence to remember to turn off the Traction Control when driving on soft sand. On day 3 we arrived at Ngkala, traversed through the coffee rock at the base but turned the engine off as we had to wait for a while due to other 4WD's which were already bogged in front of us. Finally, the time came for us to tick off what we didn't complete 20 years ago. I fired the motor up and off we went with the usual crowd of spectators. I made it less than 50 meters and soon realized that I had forgotten all the good advice I had been drumming into my Son for the past few days and completely forgot about turning off the Traction Control. I was devastated and not to mention a tad embarrassed!! Due to the same vehicles bogged in front of us further up the hill we eventually opted to reverse back out of the coffee rock and will leave Ngkala Rocks/Sandy Cape on our bucket list. Maybe next time we can tick it off in the little Zook project!!!. :-)
Best Kook moment/worst fail: was redoing the front bearings and seals on my 80. Somewhere along the way an old and munted outer bearing found it’s way back in on the passenger side (later found the new and unpacked one on the workbench). Fast forward 2 weeks and I’ve gone down south WA, driving along Sues road I go over a pothole and kaboom, entire wheel and rotor assembly deletes itself off the axle. Was an expensive and long tow truck ride back to Perth and a hell of a headache when I got home.
Well that had to hurt the ego! Drove a few hours into Barrington Tops with the wife and kids ready for a camp with some friends meeting up later. Got to camp, forgot to put the tent on the roof! Thankfully friends were able to bring it up later for us!
Am in Kenya enjoying this show and I find my self sleeping let just wotching this show am an offroad lover I wish I had a car to enjoy this here in Kenya and camping outdoor like this guy and much love to dmw for a good make over

As a female I love watching what the guys get up to and how they get out of these situations 😀
I wet myself the whole way through this episode! Love the banter, love the honesty, love the rawity…..don’t change!
Gday
My biggest fail was when I went to the powerlines in my old 4wd. Absolutely cruising enjoying it big time and then saw a big line of little puddles on the side track, I went through about 3 of them then on the 4th one which looked the same size my car just dipped and next minute the water covered my windscreen, my car turned off and my air filter was drenched. Had no spares or anything so was a long drive back home with no air filter with my fingers crossed it wasn’t the last time I drove in the car ahaha.
shaunos laughing at reuben like he doesnt owe him a truck load of brewskis🤣
Gonna be a great night. Except for what’s happening in Ukraine. I hope everything ends up okay over there. But this is going to be a good episode!
🙏
And what's happening in New Zealand Wellington ✌💯
🤷♂️ whatever, got me own problems mate.. Just hope they don’t start rok’n over by boat to Oz or something??
@@triggerhappy8872 yeah we don't need that Aussie remake of red dawn to come to life
@@triggerhappy8872 its already your problem aus is helping Ukraine
you gotta love Ruben he is off chops, bloody legend M8
This content is absolute GOLD
Nice job Shauno. Not only did you manage to run out of fuel which made Ruben reverse back up that hill, you also spotted him onto his side. 🤪 Don't blame the stump 🤣
“Right hand down” , Right Hand down”...............oops
@@vlogingoff517 🤣👍 Copy that. Poor Shauno will surely be a few beers lighter after that.
He’s a twat 😂 no doubt about it 🤣
In 5 minutes I already know this is going to be one hell of an adventure love the channel love the work love the people keep the videos coming 💪♥️🏅
The laugh after 27:40 had me in fits! too good!
Best thing after school 🤙🏽🤙🏽🇦🇺
Epic episode! One of the best! Random question though guys, anyone carry a vice with them with receiver mount? Made one for my rig, and makes changing Uni's and knocking CV cups off the stubby shafts a piece of cake! 🤙🏼
Brilliant idea 👏 I love it.
Shauno owes Rueben 1 million beers
As a newish viewer of 4WD 24/7 I've been going g through all the videos in a random order.
Of all the vehicles so far....that D-Max......wow.
It never fails in ANY of the challenges I've seen. I've got complete confidence in that thing.
I would have never considered it before, but it's top of my list now for a new rig.
Rueben take's his rollover like man ant having a laugh richt after !! You are a legend
come on Rueben you wanted to kill him a little bit lol
I think everyone, especially Reuben, did well not to lose their tempers in this one. It's easy to blame people when stuff happens. Shauno owes Reuben more than a couple of beers for that bad spotting.
My greatest 4wd fail is working on them everyday and still haven’t bought a 4wd 💪
"It's actually running better if anything, you guys can thank me later." Got me cracking!
this was one of the single best episodes! was not expecting that, just thought it would be another local-tracks epi.
This guy now has thousands of $$ worth of damage to his 4x4 because shauno the dumb arse
forgot to get fuel in his own rig. I would have left you to rot in the bush. Clean and simple.
@@4TheMotorist mate don’t think reubban lacks in the money department he will recover, not the end of the world
@@4TheMotorist Thst was one aspect of it but it was also his “spotter” as he’s reversing onto his roof…….can’t believe he wasn’t watching where the front was going…..as the old 79 isn’t exactly the flex king …… & the spotter was? 🤦♂️ Crikey !
Good thing we go with mates, shit happens
This was fun to watch. I was clutching my seat when the 79 rolled to one side. Another dope episode as always!!
As much warmth as I have for you Shauno 😂 I can’t believe how Reuben laughed everything off, I’m sure you guys will get him sorted out 😅
Great to see Reuben in the crew 😊
Seriously the best show on youtube.... thanx guys.
Great show. Love that even when things turned bad everyone stayed chilled and just handled it.
Every video I see of yours is better then the last. But that D Max is exceptional!
Cheers guys! Love watching the beautiful Australian country side.
One of ya best shauno lucky Ruben’s a bloody legend with a good sense of humour. Epic recovery on the 79
"mate she's good, look at that, door still opens" 😂
One of those crazy stories you have for life, glad to see everyone safe and having a good time despite that unfortunate scenario
Thanks
I can't believe y'all spent so much time troubleshooting the issue without adding a splash of fuel. It's such an easy variable to eliminate!
All for thr drama effect to make the video more interesting
Talk about action-packed! Just watched this on the morning of my 'positive' test - my breathing was alright before, but a bit of COVID and some gnarly drives, really gets the heart and lungs pumping! 😅
Absolutely loved this episode - thanks for all the work you guys put in each week!
Not sure what was more dangerous 🤔 the vehicle rollover or the potential scalding from draining the pasta 😂😂 Shauno- must buy Fuel and a Colander!! Hahaha
Shawno runs out of Fuel!?!? Epic! love you guys. Come tour Arizona :)
This episode just proves it.
the absolute joy and excitement when your wiring or mod comes together cracks me up 🤣😂 keep it up man
Our biggest FAIL was only two weeks ago : decided let’s go for family night camping we got in great then on the way back tried the other side of the tree ended up bellied out stuck in mud with no winch 4 hours of digging mud later no success 🥵 called friend to tow us out pride out the window wish I could add photos on here and another bit of advice don’t listen to the kids which way to go .
You guys have me crying over here. So funny. Glad everyone is safe.
Ruben you can roll it on the side and navigate the out back, but finding the rest rooms is another matter. Lol Good meeting you mate. Harlan Flagstaff, AZ Overland expo west.
YOU-Guy's ROCK !! Big-Tanx for the Education/Experience.......( you guys are the "Big-Guns"....of 4x4 offroad) Awesomeness.
I'm sitting at home and I'm more tense then I've ever been offroading. 20:40 I'm glad you guys are safe.
A few cartons to share 🍻😂 and a bloody good feed 👌🏼
Shauno was having a really bad day😂 I think that's a carton and fix Ruebens car for him!!
Hey you guys should go to Townsville with the 4x4s. North Queensland would love to see you.
He owes Ruben a few buckets of beers!
Am in Kenya enjoying this show and I find my self sleeping let just wotching this show am an offroad lover I wish I had a car to enjoy this here in Kenya and camping outdoor like this guy and much love to dmw for a good make over
