The start of this episode was probably the best start you’s have had in years and you should keep it coming like that, seeing the adventures and trip just getting there is always good to see aswell
I wanna finish building my canopy. Drug addiction got the best of me and lost all my motivation. I’m on the other side now and am ready to get back to building my dream set up. It would look awesome in a raptor finish. Cheers for making the hard times good and the good times great. Love everything you boys do ❤️
What a trip, and only 20mins in! I’d love to have a go, Raptor coating my very custom boat trailer, and tint it Red! Currently fixing it up after years of work up and down the coast, on incredible adventures!
So so good to see both Tim and Reuben together. It’s obviously hard to advertise two canopy manufacturers, but I think it should be celebrated that we have two individual companies that make top-quality touring set ups, and genuinely give their own gear a workout! Good to have them both onboard, and my goodness, I need to see that beautiful part of our country!! 😱
Speaking of canopies, I have never seen them empty a canopy to make the tray/ vehicle lighter to un-bog? Why is this? Someone says.. "if this doesn't work, we're out of options..", umm, no!🤔

I bought a hdj79 as my first 4wd and I’ve been heavily modifying it along with some rust repairs on the tray. Homemade trundle tray, rear bar and roof rack. All the work has been done completely at home. It’s been a battle and once I’m completely done I wanted to completely respray the tray with raptor.

The way its filmed in sections to give us the viewer the gut renching feeling of if you are going to make it through the next section or not. so exciting well done everyone!
Bloody crazy vid, making me want to cross the ditch to come explore some of those wild places. My truck is a 95 blue KZJ78 prado and its in desperate need of a new lick of paint as 90s colour paint seems to peel like no tomorrow. I reckon a raptor kit would do the job ;)
This is one of the best videos you guys have done yet! I wish I was there. Great adventures, as always. Good to see you all back in full swing again! My garage has an 88 fj62 that needs a hood re-paint job... I would love to Raptor Coat it and even do the whole top of the truck as well to protect it before the roof rack installation. 10/10 for making effort to trek through the bush with no tracks into the middle of no where! Watching you guys makes me feel like I’m watching the discoverers of this land, making their way through the bush 100 years ago to make what are roads for us today. My very good friend and I are currently building a Tubtopper canopy for my 4wd to suit more touring. He is an aluminium fabricator who primarily fabricates custom parts for high performance cars such as Rotary turbos, custom fuel tanks ect. I’ve visualised building this structure for acouple of years now as I’ve wanted to move my roof top tent from the roof rack onto a canopy but decided to keep the factory tub as the design of my wrap is complimented by the tub and cabin together as the tub section has “Uluru” in the background. The Raptor coating would be very great for the tub topper to as I was planning to go down that route as we do tour through some thick over grown tracks at times (Wrap is protected with Ppf) Flares are raptor coated, could do with a freshen up, bull bar and rear bar could do with a coat too if I have some left over once canopy external side is completed. Thanks for the awesome Chanel and keeping the great content rolling in. Been watching since the Roothy days, never a dull moment . Regards Dan
Gday boys just wanna start off saying thank you for the years of wonderful adventures. It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch and learn from you boys. I have a 1980 hj60 series land cruiser in beige it is currently the 3rd oldest 60 in Australia, she’s had a very hard life done a bit of rust repairs. If I won the raptor coat I’d love to be able to get the old girl painted and looking shmick while also being able to handle the scratches and dings she’ll cop on the tracks.
Hell yeah guys! From cutting tracks, fishing remote and eating self harvested venison! It had me the whole way through! Wouldn’t mind that raptor to cover some of the rust on the luxy too, makes it easier for pushing through tracks like you legends!
Definitely enjoyed the new start to the video and also with the camera's on the brims of the hats as it gives you a unique POV. I would use the Raptor to give my trailer a birthday and a new lease on life.
The four of yall should go on every adventure together! The comedy between y’all is epic! Jocko is still one funny guy but he’s all about slow and crawling up some big rocks!!
Always a great time watching you guys forge a track into the wild. Another great episode! I just picked up my first "true" 4x4, a 1991 JEEP YJ wrangler. Its got the inline 6 cylinder gas motor, solid axels front and rear, sitting on a set of 305/75R15 (33" by 12.5") Its got a 6,000lb warn winch, a couple of light bars for night wheeling. Now i just have to get the rest of the gear ready, like a 12volt system, a swag, fridge, stove, etc. If i got the Raptor coating kit i would probably coat the inside of my jeep to make cleaning up after a muddy trip easier. Cheers boys! from a fan in beautiful British Colombia, Canada
Awesome ep! Doing up a 91 suzuki maruti ute and bringing her back to her former glory! Little zooks are the best way to start your 4wd life and can't wait to do it up
As always, loving the work lads! I'm currently fitting a moulded 79 series scoop on my 80 series bonnet, and coating it in Raptor would make her look even gnarlier, and keep her looking good for many moons to come!
What an episode, cant wait for the next part. Big Tim just wanted a fish and got stitched up on that recovery bloody nissans. Picked up a 105 cruiser and building her from stock and ive already pinstriped the paint to hell with those central aus tracks and bushes
Love this episode, the out back true exploring is so good to see. I'm building a bull bar and scrub bar from scratch for my GU patrol. Going to paint it in raptor when I'm done with it
Amazing video definitely something I would love to do once in my life. At the moment I am a 2nd year fitter apprentice building a gq shorty I have it fully stripped repairing all rust and body work on it, the raptor would be perfect for the floor underbody and frame to help it with that extras strong protection layer for when I’m off the Beaton path. Would really appreciate the raptor and help to save some money. Love the show and bring back the shorty

Hell yeah guys! From cutting tracks, fishing remote and eating self harvested venison! It had me the whole way through! Wouldn’t mind that raptor to cover some of the rust on the luxy too, makes it easier for pushing through tracks like you legends!
the only 2 thing missing from this is our beloved Jocko and Rocket. Great run nonetheless my good sirs.
The intro is amazing! I had to grab a beer. Cheers mates! Can't wait to wheel.
I found this channel yesterday and im hooked, love your expeditions
Another epic one, so glad I'm so much behind the episodes... I don't need to wait to watch the second part - I'm going straight to it :)
This episode is epic. So good when you guys go exploring properly. Really wheelin for a reason.
Awesome ep! Doing up a 91 suzuki maruti ute and bringing her back to her former glory! Little zooks are the best way to start your 4wd life and can't wait to do it up
Awesome episode, great to see some new areas and having you guys share it with the world is awesome as great episode
As always, loving the work lads! I'm currently fitting a moulded 79 series scoop on my 80 series bonnet, and coating it in Raptor would make her look even gnarlier, and keep her looking good for many moons to come!
Always makes my day when a fresh episode surfaces. Working on a 0m617 4runner. I would coat the truck in Raptor to toughin up the body
Boys the trip up the top end was a great show those salt flats are very deceiving can’t wait for the part 2 👍👍
the mits 79 and the y62 having a mini battle of who has the best exhaust sound and I think the patrol just takes the prize, love the way it sounds!!
Great episode! One of my favourite! I love the trips into remote locations like this!
Love the show and bring back the shorty
this episode is full froth mode! in my lifetime, I absolutely need to come wheel in Australia. Cheers boys! great episode!
