Where are you in your Instagram journey? let me know what your biggest struggles are at the moment so I can make some videos about it for you!
I'm close to 700 followers, which says a lot since I grew from about 500 since reels dropped posting mainly about my planners & stationery, sometimes my adventure vlogs. I think for me I struggled to really to niche down further. Because for a long time I was like Adventure + Planning, but really I had to be honest with myself and ask myself, "What do i want to be known for?" And I have an excact image in my head as to what I want, I have an exact image of who I want to help & speak to, and now I'm in the process of slowing down (while still posting reels 2-3x a week) while I content batch behind the scenes for this new thing. Which isn't far off from what I'm currently doing, but it will just make more sense I guess you could say. But as soon as I got clear, the inspiration just flooded me. But feels like I have not enough time in my day for everything though, so it's taking me awhile to launch stuff so I'll have content to post for awhile and not have to feel like in a rush to create stuff later if that makes sense.
Fun fact: My account used to be personal. I was a dumb one and at one point i did have 1k followers thanks to the fact I broke into the fashion niche years ago! My a$$ deleted all my followers, kept the account, changed the name, and started from scratch it's taken me years to figure out wth am I doing with it and what I want to do with it.
9,600 followers and want to reach 10K soon. Fashion & curly hair niche. My reach for my feed posts + stories have gotten super low! V concerned about that.

I am a content creator with 126 followers on my IG. I want to reach 1K (& continue the growth). My biggest struggles are coming up with ideas, organize my content and figuring out what are the needs of my audience. I post 3-4 reels per week, 1 single post and 1 carrousel per week.
Conversion. I have great Reel views but converting to followers is the hardest part. Aiming for 20k for my brand/business at 5k now.

I started my content journey on my personal account. I’ve heard so many influencers say this isn’t the way but I couldn’t stand the thought of scraping all the hard work I’ve put into it. And to be honest my biggest supporters are my family and friends that are there and it’s so incredibly motivating to just have people in your corner already ❤️

Hey Emily! What I'd suggest you do is use relevant hashtags when you're posting, also use hashtags with 200k - 900k users, if you're starting out, that way it won't get too competitive to rank on.
When using relevant hashtags you'll have your contents pushed out on Instagram without a doubt.
Also when using instagram reels, make sure you're creating reels that's proven to go viral in your niche.
That way it'll probably go viral on your page too.

Like someone else mentioned - this is right on time. I am trying to get consistent with posting on my new IG that I had created a while back and kind of abandoned. I am trying to decide how to proceed with it. My main IG is mostly my Zumba stuff and some personal. My new (revamped) one is geared toward my autoimmune disease and the things I do to help keep me on track/dealing with it (my decorative planners/my Zumba classes, etc.). This helped a lot but I am trying to decide I should separate everything or merge it all into one. Is posting about 3/4 topics to (personal/autoimmne/Zumba/planning) too much? How could I use the content creation template to help me decide what to post and when?
Hey I’m still learning all this but try looking up pillars of content videos because I think that would help you :) it’s what I do with my adhd, PMDD, menstrual awareness IG 🧡
Grow them all separately, that way you'll grow a lot faster, people will unfollw your account if you're posting different kind of contents.
What i suggest you do is market research, for each niche, research who are the influencers & competitors in the niche.
Find out what images, reels , hashtags, bio, captions, call to action, works for them and model success.
If it works for them it'll probably work for you too.

Hi Katie, would you recommend starting a personal brand account on a private account with over 1k followers or a new one from scratch?
I'm not Katie but I would say start a new one and then share to everyone on your private so that people that want to support you can and you can eliminate inactive people who followed you possibly for a follow or is like someone you met one time
Could posting about your general life and interests rather than zeroing in on a topic or niche still work to grow
I am turning my videos I usually post in a private Facebook group into reels. So I am posting 5 days a week. But I want to design cute captions. If you have a video about it or any tips I would greatly appreciate it.
Just make sure the captions is quite relevant to the post, and long captions works extremely for personal brands, because it keeps people longer on your post.
It also sparks up conversations in the dms.
One of my mentor generated dozens of leads writing long captions.

They want you to pm them and their account is private. My question is should I delete them or keep them because it doesn’t really make my numbers realistic of followers that are interested in my content

Hello Irene! I'd suggest you focus on growing organically, that way you'll start gaining more engagement.
Also reels works extremely well, so I'd suggest you create Instagram reels, that's proven to go viral in your niche.
Find out what reels are going viral in your niche and model success, if it works for them it'll probably work for you too.

I’m a brand newbie on the Insta scene (grandmother) and I need to learn everything… I have 2 Insta accounts, one personal, one for a business I’ll be setting up. I haven’t done a post on either of them because I don’t know how! 🤣 But they’ve become separated! - I was on the business one, one night, on my new iPad, and next day I received a notification from Insta asking if that was me….. but they said it was being used in a town 50 miles from here, so I said no! …… Turns out they’re crap at tracking ipad locations, because it’s obviously been blocked (?) and I’ve tried many times to reunite them both into my Profile, if that makes sense. Do you or anyone have and advice on this! I’ve tried googling, but don’t know the correct jargon to use.

This is great! I am curious, I have a small business, sell products & offer services.. Do you recommend switching over to a creator account on Instagram?
Nope! The business account is great for you, just make sure you're creating great contents that's high quality and reasonates with who you're trying to reach.
I'd suggest you do your market research and find out what contents are best performing on small businesses like you pages.
And model success, if it works for them it'll probably work for you too.
Hashtags also are great for you, especially brand hashtags, I'd suggest you use brand hashtag, use them everytime you make a post and get your customers to use it also.

I did a instagram course and they said I needed to be posting four reels per day to grow .. That’s too much 🥹 I like your strategies the better
Right?! I think for me, sustainable is my key word with all this, otherwise I burn out!
Tbh we can only do that if IG gives us Reel schedule option.
4 reels is way too much, I've tried it in the past and it's not worth it.
Posting 1-2 reels per day is great, anything more, your reach will start declining.
