Love this! Also, an aside, but I would love if you made a video about how you maintain your mental health around Instagram and maybe some advice on not letting the ebbs and flows of vanity metrics affect us so much. (Like if we work hard on a post and it doesn't do well etc)
I second that! It’s so aggravating to see one reel do so well and another not do well at all and not really understand why?!

Love this look on you and I always appreciate your content! Your videos helped me feel more comfy making reels and I love your emphasis on doing what feels right/works for you vs grinding for growth! I'm hoping to reach 500 followers by the end of May by engaging more w my followers/people I follow, making more reels with trending audio, and posting at least 3x a week. Your strategies are so helpful!

I loooove photos with interesting captions (telling a story, for example). Reels are a stupid waste of time for me, and have been getting tired of carousels as well. You are right about community building... but it has to look/feel authentic. Instagram has been a lot about aggressive marketing lately. So... YEAH for the photoshoots!

You have become one of my go-to's every morning - sure beats the news, right? Anyway, it's not my first time at the rodeo but it certainly is becoming my best effort. Your advice is spot on, especially since you encourage us to do what we love first, and then make sure we get paid for it. I spent way too many years worrying about the money first - not a good or lasting strategy. So, yes to the hats, yes, to whatever you want to throw at us, and btw if you ever decide to do a boot camp, I would put it on my must-do list!

My Instagram goals for the summer are:
1. To build a bigger community with a higher engagement as I love to reply to comments and messages but don't get many comments or things to reply to.
2. Learn more about photo editing a camera angles to improve the pictures I'm able to take.
3. To learn more about reels and how I can implement them into my content and niche.
I do find myself a bit stuck in a rut and not knowing where to go or what to create for Instagram so I really do enjoy watching your content here to help with ideas.

Working to build my costuming account so I can eventually start a few online streams of income through it.
1) batch a month or two of posts
2) grow my instagram account to 2500+ followers by the fall so I can eventually build my online income streams
3) have fun and stop feeling self-consciousness
4) test the waters of my niche to see if RUclips is feasible

I just want IG to give organic creators a chance. I swear they are really pushing you to pay to get anything good from the platform. So unless you use engagement pods or pay your way to the top, you won't get anywhere.
