Planescape is here! Learn more: dndbeyond.link/yt_PlanescapeJasmine Have you ever used a level jump in your home games? Do you have any good tips to share?
Play through the old pc game Planescape Torment, first. It'll help give you a good feel for Sigil, and especially the way they talk. Even if you're not one for voices, adopting that local dialect of the Cant is a difference of night and day in terms of rp!
The entire impetus of the adventure is that the characters used to be much higher level, but have since lost their memories and ended up in Sigil because of a weird Multiversal Glitch. Toward the end of the adventure they get their memories back and jump to 17th level.
Dang, I've been contemplating a time jump, but I've been so on the fence about it. I have a homebrew game where the big overarching story kind of formed itself in my head, and the CR is truly unachievable for my PCs right now. It feels good to have some guidance.

Where did you get that hat!!! I need a beanie like that. Is there a store I can find that at?
I'm curious why there is a level jump instead of playing through the whole level range.

@@willcaster819 makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
It feels like a huge loss of player time. Like saying 1 hour into Lord of the Rings the movie cuts to the last 40 minutes.
Jasmine kicks ass!
