    Carpet Cleaning:
    1. Spray carpet lightly with fabric softener 7:1 to break the static cling of the hair, dirt & lint.
    2. Squeegee flat areas of carpet.
    3. Rub areas with knobby rubber glove that you couldn't get with squeegee and make a pile.
    4. Rough vacuum
    5. Brush carpet with stiff brush
    6. Thorough vacuum
    7. Spray steam directly into stains before applying cleaner to break them up so they don't spread as much.
    8. Spray desired cleaner on area concentrating heavily on stains.
    9. Lightly mist with distilled water to help create foam from the product to lift dirt up.
    10. Agitate with brush
    11. Extract without rinsing with water
    12. Wrap towel around steamer & steam area thoroughly to break down any left over dirt & residue from products used.
    13. Wet vac
    14. Towel dry then let air dry completely
    15. Apply protectant if desired

I do hammered cars all the time .This is a neat idea,I use compressed air ,using a blow gun with a 18" piece of 1/4 " tubing and blow the mess right out the door, then get my rigid and pet hair brush and get it done and I am almost 64 years old!

Not only were those carpets trashed but that door jam was making me cringe too lol. Great tip on the rubber squeegee. I've always just used a normal brush to do carpets. You can also look into getting one of those air powered "turbo" spinning carpet attachments for a shop vac. Works really well on pet hair, but some of them are hit or miss and stop working too soon.

I used to work at Car-Mart, and believe me, I worked on hammered cars everyday. I used to have to take the carpets out, hang them up and power wash them, and living in Oklahoma, I got cars that came from Indian reservations. You talk about a dirty carpet! all that Red Dirt. I was polishing a turd, but that's all we had to work with. Vans were the worst! They have every foul smell known to mankind in them, all at the same time. Once, I had to clean up a car that someone committed suicide in. And guess what? They put that sucker on the lot. All that for $7 an hour

Mate, I've gotta say, that's a brilliant idea! In my Mazda MX-5 RF, the area under both the driver and passenger seats is virtually impossible to access with a vacuum cleaner attachment. Even with both seats set fully forward, there's insufficient room to manoeuvre vacuum cleaner attachments. But your idea of the squeegee seems pretty good, and I reckon it'll fit underneath with consummate ease!
I've watched quite a few of your videos now. Don't worry about the detractors, you're just being highly passionate and descriptive. On my channel, I have a tendency to err on that side in my driving and travel videos.
    Keep up the great work.
    Greetings from Australia.

dallas should invent the squeegee brush squeegee in the front brush in the back and the handle can fit an air compressor so you can stick an attatchment at the point of the squegee brush like a tornado nozzle so it's like a 3 in 1 tool XD

Very good tip ! Thanks ! But thanks God, I don't have to use it anymore. I'm not a professional, but before I used to clean some cars for members of my family. And their cars looks like this car. But I stopped doing this kind of useless work ; if they let their car become dirty like this, this means that they don't care of having a clean car. And a few days after my cleaning, the car would be dirty again ; that happened each time. Like we say in french : " c'est de la confiture donnée aux cochons" (jam given to pigs) .But I will communicate this tip to some pro car cleaner that I know. They will love it. (sorry for my english, I'm french)

i get them at the dollar store...even when the rubber wing on the end of the squeegee breaks down its still an awesome tool to pull debris down from the carpet area around the pedals..even when the rubber wings starts to wear, the blade of the tool is still surrounded by rubber and works well...hard to explain but if you get one for a dollar and hold it in your hand you will understand what I'm trying to say...sometimes i pull the rubber wing off just for the straight edge that is still surrounded by rubber
