You are the ONLY detailer that actually cleaned the mat. Most of them proudly show a muddy bucket when done. That tells me that they didn't get all the dirt out. You have to continue cleaning until the water runs clear. PERIOD. I always do that in my car and in my house. I expect nothing less. Well done sir. You have a new subscriber.
Exactly. Those who stop extracting while it's still muddy just want the surface to look clean, not the whole thing. If you're gonna clean it, clean it properly!
The detail geek is one of my favorite detailers on youtube because of the fact he fully extracts all dirt out 😂😂
Do you do the same to the car carpet as the floor mat?
@@alecvip7562 m.a.d detailing is way better, he even goes as far as to take the carpet out and clean it
Some people don't want to pay for the kind of time it takes to do that on a neglected vehicle lol.
you using that drill brush one handed like its not difficult as hell to control that sucker! dang bro
I can honestly say that I've had to do this exact same method and all processed. Funny because I have an 8070 too. Love it. Good stuff sir.
HOLA WILSON, love your videos brother. May I suggest a big mat, like those garden or welcome mats so you can put it under the carpet that way your brushers and extractor doesn't touch the dirt. Just a suggestion, love you hermano. Greetings from Dominican Republic
Or a table even.🤷♂️
Is from one detailor to another that's exactly what you have to do. You have to turn the dirt into mud because if you don't have mud cause if you don't have mud you don't have extraction. The biggest problem we face is that our customers are always in a rush they wanted done now fast and ready in a short time it takes time to dry out. Another piece of advice do leave some marks make your own pattern on the carpet Is that way your customer has no doubt that it was Cleaned. Best of all luck in your detailing endeavors God-bless and take care I have smashed and subscribed
So satisfying to watch. How long does it take to dry?
Nice detail Wilson, I am acquiring a Mytee lite 8070 after watching your videos so I hope my business goes profitable as well.
My W.A.D. Drill brushes are arriving tomorrow, Thanks for the 15% off code, can’t wait to use them!
This may be a question that can vary but I’ll ask any way lol how often do you replace the drill brushes?
Andrew Guerrero been using them for several months and still look and work like new.
Rich at Five-Three Detail Shop Awesome I appreciate the reply! Starting up my detailing business all thanks to Luke! Experimenting with the interior side of things currently
Good video luke. A hot water pressure washer works great too. Im sure you alredy know but just in case you dont... If you can hang the mats on and against something while pressure washing them it helps wash the dirt out too... Again good video as always. I use your way of cleaning windows now too so thanks for that.
A steamer works great too -if you don’t have an extractor !!
For my mats like this I use my tornador and it pushes a lot of sand and dirt out more than vacuum alone.
genius so thorough. I have learnt so much from you!
That wasn't even close to A dirty mat.
You do this same thing for all mats.
I love this man he so funny buh 🤣🤣 “yes its going to get worse before it gets better” in a sarcastic voice 😂😂 great content tho ❤️😍🔥‼️
Bonnet pro. Pre spray, wait 15min. agitate and rinse and off the floor.
Just curious, have you ever heard of Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds? Its an amazing powerful versatile all natural highly concentrated industrial cleaning soap that could be used concentrated or diluted for any use. The reason I bring it up is because I used it to clean a dirtier mat than the one you showed us and it was a breeze. I used the same method as you but used my AquaPro extractor with warm water and half a cup of vinegar to help soften, brighten and deodorize the carpet.
That will kill the motor in the machine
@@crazyhandshands9028 Please, What will kill the motor?
@@sheri4673 If you are cleaning the engine always cover the alternator .
I have a Bissell extractor, in the clean water tank, do I fill with a cleaning solution and water or just water
Great video sir. Keep it up. 🤘
Excellent video!! Very informational
I have seen other people applying a product to neutralize that PH, not sure how if the APC used is got a high PH in it, therefore leaving it of course the carpet clean, but also a magnet easily attracting dirt, and again, because PH was not neutralized, not sure what are your thoughts on this?
Thanks for sharing this video!
this boy got some serious toys. His extractor alone is like 1200 bux.
Which company extractor u using
Great vids man!
Does a extractor work like a shop vac without pressing the button?
Does the pressure washer look like a lovechild of Mike Wazowsky & a Minion???
which extractor nozzle is the best one to buy for a shop vacuum?
Professor Wilson
What cleaner/ detergent are u using?
Good product
Omg the power of a close up😌
That actually looks like fun
Dang dude, Nice.
Do you work on detailing full time? I live in Mexico and IDK how well this could work for a living, what's the average cost of a full detailing by your experience? How many cars on average you detail in a week?
Thanks
Depends on where you're based and amount competition you have.. Last time I looked on his website Luke was alot cheaper than myself or anyone around here...my prices are anywhere from 150-450 depending on what all I'm doing to the vehicle, my average price would probably be somewhere around $225... I stay busy enough to do atleast 5 cars a week sometimes 7 or 8 but I'm a 1 man show and no need to do anymore than that.. I usually just do 1 detail a day but sometimes if I'm just doing a quick interior touch-up or exterior ill do 2 or 3 in a day. I live in a smaller city of roughly 25k people and really only have 1 true competitor taking business from me so not that much competition and I have been doing this comfortably for a living for around 15 years now and made a pretty lengthy list of repeat customers over the years.
I'm not nearly as organized and motivated as Luke is lol so I could make a killing doing it if I really wanted to but it is a very sustainable way to make a living if you teach yourself and do a good job, do some advertising and get your name out there, you will have a customer base in no time. Good luck! 👍
@@DirtNassty so true just started i did everything you said and made 645 for 3 and half days worth of work and have a 150$ job tomorrow for a repeat customer bc i killed it on his benz
@@defiantlion231 youre correct!
What handle is that on your extractor? I need a new one that can suck at a higher angle like that
how many gallons hold the extractor machine?
Will you ever be planning on shipping these to the UK?
it didn’t even look dirty in the before why so much product? the soap didn’t even turn brown
Clean carpet 😆
id clean your carpet...
why dont u put the carpet on a wood pallet so that u can clean it from both sides and then add some plywood below it when the extractor part comes in?
Luke is one of the best I've seen on RUclips.
What dewalt model drill do you use?
Sub fan. Love the videos. I want to get your brushes, so I must ask where did u get that brush extention.
Can I use my wet/dry vacuum to extract???
Jose Wouldntulike2no I tried and I would say it isn’t the best. I bought a cheaper extractor and it works 100 times better than just my wet/dry vac (:
Yes! I found out my powerful 12 ampl Bissell Garage Pro Wet/Dry vac works just as well or better than the extractor. I bought this clear wand attachment so I can see the water being extracted:
www.amazon.com/dp/B01N56WZ7D/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_e-FWDbGVFQH54
So what do you charge to go to that level? Do you charge over and above your normal price? Obviously that level takes quite a bit of time. Thanks!
more work and more product should always = more money. the money really just depends on you and what you service is worth
David Patterson I agree, but I’m curious what Wilson would charge to take that extra step. It’s probably an extra 45 minutes to an hour of work
Is this a detailing vid or a sales vid
Hey Wilson, is it possible to completely detail a interior and exterior with a steamer?
Absolutely it is, but for exteriors you need a commercial steamer.👍
@@ecosteammobile366 for exterior? What do you use steam on exterior?
if you dont have an extractor, can i just vacuum the water out?
if its a wet vac
Wilson said 13 to 14 in my head I'm thinking okay 13 to 14 dollars, that's cheap until he added hundred dollars ... I fell out 🥴
@@Detailguy101 if you go back to that particular point in the video, the way the statement was made.. there was a slight pause "until he added hundred dollars" which I've said in my previous comment. It was like a "13 to 14 whaaattt???" Kinda moments & it was funny "to me" and I decided to share .. I dont ACTUALLY think that
@@Detailguy101 & may God continue to bless you with your talents to be able to charge such price or higher if need be 🤷🏽♀️👏🏽👏🏽
What degreaser are you using?
U dont use ur rug doctor?
Cost for cleaning mats
Water heat doesn’t compare to chemical heat, spot cleaning and ofc extraction
People should check out the jon-don heated (about 200 degrees) extractor. I bought it and its a solid built product but is only $650. I didn't want to spend double for the price for a name.
Oh yes I found this one. I think the only main difference is the Jon-Don EZ Portable Spot Extractor With Heat is 55 PSI while the Mytee 8070 is 120 PSI. The Jon-Don for some reason doesn't come with a clear extractor wand.
www.jondon.com/priority-manufacturing-ez-portable-spot-extractor-with-heat.html
@@ricardogomez01 ah gotcha. I feel that's not enough to justify double the price. You don't use an extractor to blast anything anyway. And yea I wish it came with a clear one but they do sell a clear one so even if you bought that for like $50 it would still be close to half price.
@@mattz000 You're right. After talking to Jon-Don it looks like the CFM is 100 which is the same as the Mytee 8070. I think the suction power is more important than the pressure of the sprayer.
Now I'm thinking the Bissell Garage Pro wet vac 12 amps might be a better route coupled with an electric kettle to pour hot water.
@@ricardogomez01 jon-don actually has a bucket heater as well. It's like $50-60. I just bought one. Fill a 5 gallon bucket and it heats it to like 180 degrees in about 20 minutes. Real simple and you can heat a ton of water.
@@mattz000 That's a good idea thanks!
Everyone seems to be posting vid of carpet cleaning lately.
yea but, my results don't suck. Now what do I do. Dammit.
I guess if you don't have a extractor you could use a shop vac to pull out water and hang dry them.
I just ordered a clear wand on Amazon to add to my Bissell Garage Pro Wet/Dry shop vac. Hopefully it'll work:
www.amazon.com/dp/B01N56WZ7D/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_wdCWDbES7238S
I used a Hoover power path pro, good at extractor w/ the attachment & it has a clear wand. But I blew the fucker out by not paying attention to how much water it was collecting. These things would of been better if they had an output feed hose out to a discharging outlet instead of the collection tank right above the fucking motor, thanks Hoover!
Cleaning marks! In my family we just call them Paula lines
your result sucks too :) (not really just saying it back)
you can also see the pressure washer ruined the mat fibers
@a sith vacuums no you just brush the carpet fibres in one direction at the very end & then it looks perfect. At the beginning it looks like you’re ruining them but at the end if you brush it uniformly it looks perfect. I’ve done it dozens of times, trust me
No more rug doctor?
Did u put make up to your eye brows?
I was expecting to see something different that a million people don't do already
That’s not extreme it’s just how do do it easy you can extract with a hose or pressure washer it’s just faster
Drill Brushes say no available
I feel like hondas are always the dirtiest 😭
Are you located in Houston I’d pay you to clean my car my baby spilled soda in it 😞
Why is your baby drinking soda lol
hes in nashville
@@dealornodealproductions7314 haha right should be titty milk!
I've watched few of your videos and I have to say some of them were very interesting. This video with "dirty carpet" is to my opinion very bad. We are doing whole interior of a vehicles here within 2hr and all our carpets, carpet mats, seats are 100% dry(one detailer per vehicle only). Your dirty carpet is for us a clean one. It would take us 2min to get it clean and 20min after to dry it. To me this was very inefficient way to clean carpets.
Please don't get me wrong I think you do good job and your results are good to.
I just always look at efficiency of any job so we can improve even more.
you page not working
I enjoyed the video a little to much talking but good video.
this kid came up
👍🔥
LMAO super liberal with it
Sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
You use a pressure washer INSIDE the car?? I came here for car carpets, not floor mats.
(get a right angle drill for the brushes, MUCH easier to control. Rookies)
Until you add some soundproofing to.your garage echo chamber, you really need to STOP TALKING SO LOUD! It will reduce the echo and make.it much easier to understand you.
Record a minute or so of yourself talking in your semi-church voice then compare it to the beginning of this video. If the audience needs to turn up the volume, they can do so without increasing the echo. The louder you talk, the more intense the echo. Slowing down a little bit will help too.
Ever since you got your new garage, your videos are unwatchable.
First🌚🤪
Your werid
Talk to much
This guy talks to much get a good extractor k with steam hottttt. K 😊
MY GOD....Put your hands down..
those eyebrows tho lol
Your werid
I really have to point out that degreaser cut at that ratio still won't cut. I would recommend you use a high alkaline carpet prespray and come back with a acid rinse. It's the best way to remove this without pressure washing. Flex citri solv mixed with flex bio break, then rinse with flex ice. Another prespray mix would be flex citri solve mixed with flex fire. Carpet cleaning industry chemicals will apply best to cars. Degreasers are not gonna give the best results, been there done that.
great tips!! thankyou:)
Ha! I've been doing it this way for years! Why? Because it works! Good show bro!
