Nice video hopefully next is the washing and extraction of seats/carpets. Love your videos and your detailed explanations great effort much appreciated.👍
I admire the care & conservative nature you take detailing. Many detailers just attack cars with little regard for longevity, they just do it to make it look good temporarily.
ALWAYS use OEM floor mats or floor mats that lock into the factory holes in to carpet, just make sure it locks in place and doesn’t slide around. otherwise it can catch your gas pedal and hold it down i’ve had it happene to me but toyota doesn’t have any more floor mats for my model
The vacuum is one of the most important tools for detailing a vehicle in my opinion. As you said, just vacuuming a vehicle and cleaning out the trash makes it look far better without doing anything else. Being just a weekend detailing enthusiast, a great quality vacuum is my most important tool. Vacuuming is an absolute must to keeping a vehicle interior in top notch condition and the first thing I do in an interior detail after any debris or trash is thrown away. I have went through 4 or 5 vacuums of all types over the past 20+ years detailing my vehicles from expensive household type vacuums to low quality shop vacs to decent shop vacs, and everything in between. I was always unsatisfied with the suction power. I finally broke down and paid what some people would think is a crazy amount of money for a really good vacuum. It was the best purchase I ever made as far as detailing my cars. Expensive YES. Worth it.....Oh, hell YES!
I have the Numatic GEORGE vacuum. The George is also a carpet/upholstery extractor which is fantastic because you can also use it to clean your carpets. The suction is very good on this machine and it's a great machine for car detailing which is what I am currently using it for. Having both a great vacuum and one that does carpet extraction when I need to do an interior detail is great. The machine quickly changes over from vacuum to carpet extractor as they send you all the pieces for both functions!! It's an expensive machine but in the long run, it's well worth it. This machine is built to last for many years of service to you. The company sells a lot of industrial machines for the cleaning industries (Hotels, Businesses, Office cleaning, etc.) so the machines are built for heavy duty use.
Well written. The George is $630 up to $900 AU depending. Just curious which model? I've got the $1000 AU Festool CTM MIDI E FS (576740) 1200W 15L M Class Dust Extractor. For the workshop to use with Festool tools. Yesterday was the first time I used it to vac the car. So much better than cheap and expensive household vacs. But I'll have to compare the specs on the Numatic GEORGE vacuum with it.
I 12 Boyd scratching plastic trims with the vacuum crevice tool, all you have to do is take pieces of masking tape and tape the edges. That’s what I do and I don’t have a problem scratching plastic trims. Only downfall to it is that after every three or four jobs you know you might have to switch the masking tape or replace it. I’ve personally use kamikaze masking tape
I really need a better vacuume. I pay to use the ones at the car wash and it doesn't suck everything up. There's all the little grooves that are filled with rocks and other crap. I can still see hair stuck on the ground, and the worst is (like this car) I have a dark interior so EVERYTHING shows, which is super annoying. I'm never buying a dark interior vehicle again. I'll try hooking up my home vacuume with a similar extension and using a toothbrush for the smaller spaces. Might even try that brush attachment. Thanks for the video!
my wet vac just arrived and im about to detail 3 cars. No experience. I just bought one of them and it's the dirtiest land cruiser I've ever seen (inside). Any tips for huge mounts of dog hair stuck into fabric?
Why do you use the crevice tool on large flat areas? I find it faster do just use the bare vacuum hose end with no attachment because that way have a larger hose opening to grab more/larger dirt from the upholstery. I only the crevice tool for crevices.
I saw the little brush you're using. Where'd you get that from because I got one of those same ones from my pistol cleaning kit... lol. Looks effective
I work at a car wash and they told me that I won't pretty slow but they told me that I'm going on the inside but when I do my inside and when I do my door jambs they told me when I do the door jams on my job that I have to use the degreaser bottle but I don't know why
Great video and tips, following your methods to start my business! quick question. Do you clean the carpets with your full interior detail service? I ask because I normally only see you record the seats and floor mats. I’m debating if I should include floor mats, carpets and seats under same package. How long would that take you? Any advise would help
For a full interior, yes I would. If they only get a quick interior detail I only do the hard surfaces i.e doors, dash, steering wheel, center console, cup holders, and just a quick vacuum. For a full interior I’ll also include seats, carpet, floor mats, and upholstery if they have any staining
Why did all your tools have to be linked through amazon,🤦🏽♂️ i cant reset my stupid password and much worse the coronavirus scare shut down all of the customer service places. Im angry
Why is a video on vacuuming an interior so long? haha my bad. All tools and guides are linked in description box!
Not a problem sir, appreciate the time 💯
You think 16 minutes is long?
instablaster.
My favourite drill brush head, especially on foot wells and carpet mats. Always like your videos bro 👍
It’s nice to see someone take the time to be careful around plastic, great video
Bro I have no idea how you don't have like a million subscribers. You're in the top 5 detailers of youtube lol
No he not the worst on you tube lol not hateing just facts

Any great ideas of how to clean between seats and the console.....or prevention tips to stop materials falling between seats....Thanks
Thanks bro.just started a detailing job and the vacuuming is the most frustrating
incorporate using a vortex or tornador air tool to blow debris out of cracks, under seats, speeds the process up
I've got a 10 gallon shop vac it works great yours looks like it's top of the line
Thanks for sharing. Just got a new car and want it to stay looking new!
Great video! I recognize that vehicle! Honda CRV, the seats get dirty quickly.
I'm always cleaning mine. 👍
Your explanation & honesty is so good its just satisfying

Absolute Champion!!!
Try blowing the interior out with air it makes it soooo much easier. Also get the analan pet hair remover. It is the bomb !
What do u do when the attachment starts to wear out
Phenomenal information bro!!!
You can buy a cloth sleeve for the hoze to prevent scratching the paint and trim
Any reason your using the red bristle brush (stiff) instead of the white soft bristle brush? Does the red bristle not damage the seats?
Yeah man same thing i thought

You're a pro for sure.
good vid mate keep up the work
How many batteries do you keep on hand?
For your drill.
It comes with 2. So just those
The rigid vacuum was in the links ..is that a good vacuum under $150 I can keep in my garage to clean my cars or would you recommend something else ?
"Hi Oscar " I Have A Question What Type Of Sandpaper Did You Use To Smooth Out The Crevice Tools?...🤔

Great review 👍 learned a lot keep these videos coming { please }
What kind of vacuum tip is that? Mine doesn’t have a long thin tip like that. How can I get one?
I love when cars have the manual sliding seats 😭😭😭💯
What city, state are you in?
Been following your content for the last 4 months. You do a great job teaching and instructing.
I dipt my vacuüm tip in some cilicone...no more scratches
Is there a easy way of getting the sides of the seats clean? That’s my problem area
It helps to have a long crevice tool
Really good information. Thanks
What's the new vacuum cleaner that you use I was looking for the review you were going to do on it
What hose is your vacuum using it looks real flexible
It's from Festool. I don't use it anymore (nor do I recommend it for detailing)
@@DetailGroove can you recommend a good flexible hose?
Ps Preferably black or grey.....

Rigid has a green hose now?
Really appreciate your videos. Learned a lot from you.
With all that dust and debris you should really be wearing a mask.
The “ then use it again” caught me off guard 😂😂😂
Yo, Do I need a Extractor or am I able to work on Interior Stains with just APC,Brushes,Steamer?
I enjoy vacuuming the interior unless it's hot out and the car is in direct sunlight. Then it can wait for a bit😂
Tranquility Base Detailing especially leather lol
3:27 lol use your tooth brush then use it again
A simple brush attachment for the end of your vacuum will speed this process considerably
As in a different attachement?
@@DetailGroove I commented about halfway thru the vid lol, the brush that fits on the end of the vac nozzle helps me alot
Great video oscar
Thanks!

who will wait till their car be that dirty to finally start cleaning up.. I can't, I have headache looking at it.
The only way to clean that interior is to light it on 🔥. Some people are disgusting slobs!!
Could've just taken off the plastic panels honestly
If you’re doing this as a business, you have to charge for the extra work
