how often do you have to climb the pole? do you mainly work out of the bucket?
Usually you do a little bit of both depending on what the job task is. If you’re in the area where you can get to close enough with your bucket truck then you’re usually work out of a bucket but if you’re in the area where you can’t get your truck close enough to the pole usually you have to climb.
All depends on the foreman, some will make you climb just bc you’re the apprentice, others will be more open to bucket. Just depends on the Forman and mood they are in

Were you able to work while you did it because my local cdl course requires me to go Monday through Friday 8 am to 6pm for 4 weeks 😭
@@samuelnavas9014 I chose not to work since I was getting a scholarship which I regretted, but it is an option you may don’t want to work no more than 20 hours.

@@samuelnavas9014 there are online courses or night classes at a lot of local community colleges in my area not sure if they are in your area though. I'm trying to work through this myself and work my regular job.
