That's what I'm struggling with right now. Choosing between furnished finder or truck/ trailer. Not a lot of places offer a place to stay and RV camps are now 750 a month in OR.
On another note, I'm currently a groundman for right of way work for transmission lines. Is this good experience to apply for lineman apprentice? Pay is low compared to line groundman but per diem helps a lot.

Hey man, Im a Marine Corps Veteran, just graduated a pre apprenticeship linemen program here in NC, I have my Class A CDL, I'm really struggling to find an job that being an apprenticeship or groundman position, selcat isn't accepting any overhead at this time, all my local utilities big and small have no openings, I've been looking at out of state positions, I want to apply to swlcat but they want your class A CDL to be from a state in there jurisdiction, even though I am over 21, any advice on applying to out of state or different union jurisdictions in regards to CDLs, thanks
