Can someone give a more accurate translation to their dialogues? I don’t think the eng subs were very accurate....

I wonder if there's a mod. I'm sure there is but I'm afraid fan-translations are liable to take as much liberties as anyone else, no matter what they might claim.

Oh the Second Chapter is called the two protectors in english? Then I like the german more. It is called "Brüder" = Brothers

While in Japanese it seems to be called "A dangerous gamble" or something. The third one is "sacrifices" in English but something like "everything is for the sake of the king" in Japanese. Seems like the titles really change quite a bit depending on what language you pick.

Yeah the third one is also called "Opfer" = Sacrifices in german.
But all in all I think the english translations from japanese is a little bit more accurate than the german. It is quite difficult I think.

TheSunshineYoko Actually, I think the German translation is more on point. I played the main game in German with Japanese voices and it kept pretty close to it. The English is always pretty off when I see it, especially in this episode...

Oh really? I had the opposite feeling but my japanese isn't very good anyway so you may be right.
But when you want to use google translator japanese to english is way more accurate than to german =D

TheSunshineYoko TheSunshineYoko Its been a year since I actually played in German, and obviously they can't translate everything word to word since it's still a dub not subs, but the English definitely takes a lot of freedom with their dub. Not necessarily a bad thing, but when you play in Japanese and know what they actually say it can get a bit annoying at times when what you hear doesn't align with what you read, but eh I'm used to it I guess^^
