I honestly hate the Nintendokart idea. There’s so many cool characters left they haven’t used from the Mario universe, so another Smash Bros would be a waste
Agreed. I didn’t like their inclusion in 8. They’re are so many characters they could add like E. Gadd, Toadsworth, Cranky Kong, King K Rool and more. Plus if they weren’t added in 8 we could have got other characters like Bowser Jr, Birdo and Diddy earlier than we initially did. I really hope the next games doesn’t have them. I’d much rather it be its own game instead.
I want them to bring in characters from the rpgs. There's so many great characters from Mario & Luigi, Paper Mario, and Mario rpg that they could use like Fawful, Geno, the PM partners, etc. I hope they also make tracks based on locations from the rpgs in the future too. I also just want more obscure Mario characters in general like Wart from Mario 2 instead of baby and metal clones. There are so many more things from the Mario universe they can use instead of just resorting to Nintendokart.
I don’t think we should get rid of the coin tbh. It may seem like a useless item once you unlock everything but I genuinely feel it’s huge when it comes to balancing items. Especially if you have someone in first for the majority of the race since getting coins in that place happens more often than not and allows other players to have a chance to hit them considering they can’t block attacks with coins.
Yeah as someone who is in first place a lot. 🤓 I agree. You can force a regular item if you just don't use it and you'll be garrenteed to get one next item box as you can never hold two. So it's not a big deal really if you know how to play. Having players in first have two defensive items at all times would be bad. I am in favor of going back to the older item systems like wii though where you have to hold the item behind you to get another item held in the slot. The two item slots are nice but just too nice, the game feels way too easy and forgiving.

@@Cob9-1Both Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Run are listed with the other Super Mario games on Nintendo's official website. They're mainline. So no matter what others say Mario Kart Tour is Mainline. The only ones that aren't Mainline Mario Kart is the Arcade series, and that's because it's developed not by Nintendo, but Bandai Namco. Which is the only reason Pac-Man is a character in that game.
@@dustymcwari4468 yup. Home Circuit is regarded as a spin-off (of a spin-off). Plus there are no track presets they could use from Home Circuit since it was supposed to be a make it yourself in your home thing.
I had that idea as like a bit of a track gimmick, like the Wonder Flower spawns somewhere on the track at a certain time, whether predetermined or at random, and driving into it would trigger a Wonder Effect thay drastically changes how you play, so you can have some strategy with it Do you avoid the Wonder Flower and win via skill and item play? Or do you take advantage of the Wonder Flower's crazy effects to try to steal a win?
I had this idea where there would be items and *wonder items* wich are like the road modificator items mentioned in the mario kart x section, so they would be separate items, maybe carry one of eatch at the same time!
@@thewizardslime6764 oh that'd be neat, like you could get special items to shake up the whole game in a wonder section of the track? I assume they disappear if you try to leave the wonder section with one

personally I just want a story mode with new characters and maybe the double dash mechanic comic back for an alternate game mode. ur ideas are pretty good as well!
What id like to see is an open world mario kart where you can choose different paths leading to different tracks that can only be accessed finishing others driving across and around the kingdom
I would love if they added a racetrack maker, I don't care if they limit it to SNES and GBA style tracks, just being able to make your own tracks would be cool as hecc And it would be nice that for vehicle stats we pick an engine with those stats so we can pick whatever vehicle we want, because it really sucks that many cool looking vehicles have horrible stats
Yes! I agree too! That way it doesn't overcomplicate things, as those tracks didn't incorporate height and elevation. But I would like to at least see a way to incorporate gilders and maybe building tracks in the current style with those same limitations the 2d Mario kart games had.
@@Frank-sp7vu maybe something they could do is let us at least have two elevations like 8DX's Donut Plains and some of Tour's GBA tracks, along with stuff like ramps for hopping over lanes or so we can add gliding sections and shortcuts like the glider in GBA Mario Circuit
They could have both "simple mode" and "advanced mode" for track making IMO. Advanced mide editor could look similar to Zeepkist (people are really sleeping on Zeepkist tbh)
A story mode where you can play alone or with friends locally or online where each level is a race with progressively more difficult obstacles and cpu would be cool. Maybe every few races there could be a boss where you keep doing laps of the track until you take out the boss with items or something
@@Yuuri066 It's pretty much the system that's already in Mario Kart 7 and 8, except instead of unlocking a random kart piece, you get to choose what to unlock in a shop
My idea is that they should introduce a in game shop where you can buy kart parts with coins, and newer parts will be hidden behind clearing one of the racing cups and depending on what difficulty you clear it on will let you unlock more parts for your kart. So that way you don't have to collect a lot of coins to unlock a new part and can just purchase one through it's in game shop when you clear a racing cup grand prix.
a maker style game could be similar to little big planet karting, super underrated and a perfect baseline for what you were talking about to an obviously improved extent
I think a somewhat normal Mario Kart 10 would be fine but add elements of the Mario Kart Maker idea. Instead of it being fully customized tracks, you could get both. Like what molded Wii had to offer. You could even add a last man standing mode.
i would like the next mario kart to look similar to the tour renders, with the stylised effects for the tires and particles. also unlockable stickers you can put on your karts.
One of my favorite games as a kid was Modnation Racers for the PS3. It was SO underrated, but the whole concept was that you MADE your own cart, track AND characters. It was amazing to see what people came up with and honestly would be a great inspiration for community building so it can last 10 years without getting stale.
Dude I got modnation for my birthday in middle school and it was so great. It was cool as hell to download peoples custom cars and use them online. The tracks were great and so was the gameplay. Its a shame the series burned out.
All of these ideas in one whole game would be incredible! I call it “Mario Kart Infinite” or “Mario Kart Infinity”. They could basically reuse the 8, change the colors, and make it vertical to represent the ♾️ sign.
When they make MK10, I really think they should add a course maker mode This makes it so they don't really need a new gimmick (flying etc) besides the course maker Then the game wouldn't need tons of new characters or powerups either The course builder is allowed to be simple, because it's part of the package. The builder could still have two modes: "simple" and "advanced", for both new and skilled builders ;)
Maybe the next Mario Kart game will have as a Dlc, the "Forsaken course pass". It's like the Booster course pass from Mk8dx, but less disappointing cuz there will be tracks that never make their way as a retro track in 8 Dx (or Tour) (if Mk tour is apart of the mainline Mario Kart games).
One feature that I would love is more realistic snow and ice physics. Like if your car starts to slide uncontrollably if you go to fast on icy surfaces. Weather based items too like a Mr Blizzard that temporarily covers the track in snow. Or a thunderstorm item that makes it rain and have random lightning strikes on the track. Maybe a Tweester you can fire at your opponents that lifts them in the air.
The Mario Kart Maker idea would be brilliant. I loved racing on new innovative tracks and recreated ones from other games and movies in HotWheels Unleashed. I think it'd sell
Coin is from Super Mario Kart (1992). Nintendo just stopped using them in 1996/97 when Mario Kart 64 came out, then brought them back for Mario Kart Super Circuit, then got rid of them for good in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Coins officially returned in Mario Kart 7.
as a guy that makes mods for mk8, i can tell u its not easy at all. You really do need a team to make good tracks. That's just not possible rn since most people prefer to work on it alone. Everyone has their own ideas of a 'good' track. To some extent, its a double edge sword. Bc imagine if we had everyone make tracks, 95% of those tracks would be poorly executed or just not fun. Of those 5% remaining, about maybe 10%-25% would be decent. and that means u have a very small chance something good will actually be executed.
Here is how they can do the Mario Kart Maker. Similar to Halo, they have prefab items you build with. Different "packs" lets say. Think "Mario Kart Circuit Pack", "Bowsers Castle Pack", "Rainbow Pack". All the "same" tracks with different textures, and maybe some minor special things specific to each pack. Like "bank right", "slight incline"... Then have an array of skyboxes, "accessories" like trees and buildings. The building method for the track would be like Roller Coaster Tycoons' coaster creator! Sure, the tracks may not look exactly like dev made ones, but if they accept that it wont and make it its own thing, we could be in for some really special stuff.
Mario Kart Maker could be inspired by PS3's Modnation Racers in its creation of circuits, if they plan it well they don't even have to think about inventing more new circuits ever
2:49 a good example of this concept of changing environments on a track is from a game called motor storm apocalypse. the same track would have different variations as it followed this storyline. one track in particular is by a beachside, where in one race it was a normal track, you just raced through it and nothing to exciting happened. then a few races later you would come back to this track, only this time a huge twister is rampaging on the shoreline, throwing debris across the track, knocking over Ferris wheels that roll across the track (it was some kind of boardwalk fair thing), throwing boats that block a certain bath, buildings crumbling, ect. the main disaster was the earthquake, where entire landmasses would rise and fall, changing the track dramatically. i might be rambling but this game was so fun, and to see something like this in the next mario kart would be amazing.
I think it could have a Movie Mode, where all of the characters (except the ones that haven't appeared yet) would get movie-styled looks and voices, and all of the tracks would be more realistic.
It’s insane to think that the last mainline Mario Kart released almost 10 years ago and the Switch is probably not gonna get its own Mario Kart game since the new Nintendo console will probably be coming soon
My Mario kart 9 idea: First up, tour is mainline, but Mario kart 9 is a sequel to 8 (deluxe) and tour is just a mobile game, we still have new super Mario bros. 2 after Wii, if by the every mainline game counts idea it should be new super Mario bros. 3ds instead. I think the new items can be the double cherry and cloud flower -Double Cherry: Clone yourself, gaining one more item slot and player can swap to their clones too. -Cloud Flower: Create three clouds, which stops the racers and they have to drive around it as a solid The mission mode should be back, with more creative missions too. All the mechanics from 8 deluxe are back except for the coin item, the coins are also have a 20 instead of a 10 cap. Double drivers are also back as a option, with two items with single drivers and three with two drivers This game introduces sky driving sections with purple pads that let the drivers drive freely in the sky with full control, it also allows drill to pop out when there is walls or ground that is made of soft dirt to dig up them. Some tour items(ice flower, hammer, coin box, banana barrel, bob-omb canon and mushroom cannon) are back as well as each character having exclusive items, some new and some back from double dash/tour. There is also the shell blaster just like the other cannon items. Finally, there is last man standing balloon battle and a new capture the flag mode with a new item: propeller mushroom, send the user to the top of the map and giving it a glider for a strike back in battle mode.
I had an idea based on your “environment changed tracks” -New Waste City (based on your tactical NEWke York idea ( get it nuke and new york… I’m bad at puns ) -Wonder Flower Highway ( it constantly changes like its a fork but instead of it being your choice you have follow whatever route the road picked for you ) -Inverted Laps ( it’s basically some random levels stitched together ( it wouldn’t change what tracks but it would change what order like “bowsers castle then a rainbow road then Wario mountain or whatever it’s called “ but next time it changed the order “
Gonna be honest... Most of these ideas (except for the wonder flower thing) are just ideas from the older games, and could just be re-introduced in 8 Deluxe. Here are some features that were already done by previous titles (including Arcade which I know most don't count) before (except for the SNES game because that counts more as laying the groundwork for future titles): -Mission Mode: DS did this, and was actually (sort of) brought back through Tour's cups having only 3 races and one challenge (now that I think of it, this is also kinda similar to the original Arcade GP). -Changes to a course with race progress: Technically done with Super Circuit, but truly kicked off with Wii (Grumble Volcano) -Underwater/Gliding: 3DS. -Anti-Gravity: Wii U. -Guest Characters: Arcade/DS. -Retro Tracks: Super Circuit. -Custom Characters: Wii (Miis) -Multiple Track Variants: Tour -Handheld/Mobile: Super Circuit (though DS was the first to use 3D models in this style) -3D Assets: N64 (though it was just the tracks, as the characters and items were still 2D). -Different Vehicle Types: Wii. -Tricks: Also Wii. -More than 8 Characters: Double Dash. -Double Item Slots: Double Dash (works different than it does now on Switch, and was also brought to Tour alongside Triple Item Slots) -Item Frenzy: Tour. -Battles on Race Tracks: Wii (Tournament Mode), and Wii U. -Race on Battle Courses: Wii (Tournament Mode). -Post-Launch content: Wii U. -More Than One Racer Per Kart: Double Dash (its main gimmick). -Customisable Kart Parts: 3DS (though technically DS did it first if you count the emblem editor, which I think should return). -"Custom" Tracks: Home Circuit (because I don't count mods) -Crossover Tracks: Wii U (or 3DS if you count DK Jungle as a Donkey Kong Country track and not a Mario track) -Motion Controls: Wii. -3D/AR/VR: 3DS, Home Circuit and Arcade VR respectively. -Online Mode: DS. So why am I bringing these up? Because they prove that a "new Mario Kart" really wouldn't be that innovative like its predecessors, and thus prove its redundancy (at that point it's unnecessary and they can just stick to adding these features to 8DX). The only real exception, in my opinion, is the idea of a Wonder Flower being able to change the way the game is played drastically, and be made to work properly (and feel fun and smooth to play with, while at the same time being unique). And I don't mean changing the direction of the lap like the Tour tracks already do in 8DX, Nintendo would have to go FAR beyond that. I don't doubt that it's possible, but I also wouldn't bet on it, which is why I think it's more likely they'll keep updating 8DX (through a BCP2, free content, or even (hopefully) an update to Battle Mode). Also the Nintendo Kart idea is absolutely stupid, as it strips the "Mario" out of MARIO Kart.
There's someone making a Pikmin mod, and it has stuff like a playable Waterwraith, and easily the most creative vehicles I've ever seen, my favorite is a donut carried by White Pikmin, and with a Breadbug hanging from behind as if it was a tug of war like the ones you gotta do when fighting them at Glutton's Kitchen, and u also use the flower of one of the Pikmin as steering wheel xd, its a work of art
For a MK Maker, they could take from Diddy Kong Racing DS. You drew a 2d track loop on the touch screen and all elevation were randomized, but you'd have a finished track all ready to race on. I feel like Nintendo could come up with something more simplified in 3D tho!
honestly I dont think making 3d tracks would be too difficult. It could use a similar system to rollercoaster builder games. A grid based system (like in rct3) or a free form system (like in planet coaster)!!
I don't see a lot of people commenting on this but I love your style man! The synthwave / outrun aesthetic coupled with the music and original 3D animations, with the quick quips while getting your point across without the constant drag of video length, makes for a super unique style of content, definitely subscribed and excited to see more from you!
Well they could do the whole drill into the ground idea they considered during the development of Mario Kart 8 but never used due to liking Anti Gravity better for the next Mario Kart. They could also have a story mode as well where you race bosses like in Diddy Kong Racing.
the Boo item was in 64 & DS. Also Double Dash already had character-specific items. I hear it's the only game where Baby Park could actually work because of the chaos around items. A new Mario Kart themed around items that has character-specific moves could hinder Double Dash's replayability for the 3 people who actually replay Double Dash.
I've always hated the idea of crossovers in mario kart, because it really cuts the originality that comes from the game. Many of the characters would end up filled with slots of non-mario characters, which stand out way too much from the mario-style characters. A lot of the tracks would be reference tracks, which cuts unique track ideas and instead just include locations from the games that are the home of the crossover characters. This also means that it would be much less likely to see unique compositions, which are my favorite because they aren't limited in what they represent, while the crossover tracks have a quota to fill of having to just remake an already existing song from the tracks home-game.
2:50 Fun fact, lap-based layout changes were already possible back in the Wii days. In fact, the falling pieces on Grumble Volcano are based on that, and other tracks also used it for appearing and disappearing obstacles (both in Mario Kart Wii and its 2 successors). Custom tracks took it to the next level, the prime example being Six King Labyrinth, which I believe MK8DX's feature of changing the entire track progression was heavily inspired by. 5:55 The thing is, there's already games doing exactly that, such as Trackmania or Tile Racer.
I swear I also thought of that idea when they announced the bcc. My idea was, that you have a regular track, reverse variant and a "X-Mode" which the track has elements or stuff that just changes the way you play a certain track just like Super Mario Maker, where when you turn on that Night-Mode, that the level behaves differently.
Why not have the double cherry also make it possible to have double items slots for one lap. That way its limited to mid to last place racers and helps them get more chances of getting shells and power items. Maybe make the second slot be limited to certain items so no one gets something like a bullet bill and a superstar.
Also, I think the next Mario Kart game will be a port of the entire Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, but it will have new tracks along with the ones that are already in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
There were two ideas that got cut one from Double Dash and another from Mario Kart 8 and Deluxe. One was the ability to drive the courses backwards which even had evidence in the forn of a cut title and cup called the reverse cup. The second is the ability to dig underground which was a scrapped idea from 8 and 8 Deluxe. There is also a third idea of bringing all characters back Smash Ultimate style with some newcomers from either Tour or just from the Super Mario series in general. Finally a bonus would be be to put all alternate costunes in one slot like Yoshi, Shy Guy, and Birdo since although they have different weight classes it would at least make it more neat.
they already dumped the inklings and the villagers together, despite the girl and boy versions having completely different stats, so there's literally no excuse for tanooki mario, cat peach, metal mario, and pink gold peach to keep eating up individual slots.
Modnation Racers did the track creator thing pretty much perfectly, its really simple yet surprisingly robust, Nintendo could easily take a page out of that game and expand on it
It’s a nice theory, creating a MK game around the wonder flower. Personally I’d like to see a massive cross over game- hence Mario Kart X. Pikmin, Smash, Zelda, Metroid, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, F-Zero, Kirby…etc tracks along with their respective guest characters.
Now that we’re fairly certain the switch 2 will have an nvidia chipset, and thus fairly decent ray tracing, I’m pretty stoked for what a new mariokart will look like. Mariokart 8 still holds up visually to this day, and it’s been ten years, so it’ll be fun to see what they can do with a significantly more powerful machine
I know it will probably never happen but I want courses that are barely-modified versions of actual Mario levels. Bob-omb Battlefield, Hazy-Maze Cave, HoneyHive Galaxy, Pinata Village etc.
A map like in forza that you can play with your friends or alone and online You can just drive around, challenge them to races, or just do normal Grand Prix or battle mode
I'd definitely love to see levels that change the artstyle completely like an 8-bit zone from a secret portal in certain maps. Would definitely give the game it's unique place in the series ❤
One item i always thought of for the next Mario Kart is Cappy. You launch it and you can steal an item, or even better, swap positions with the guy in front of you. That would be great.
Cool video! I think the tracks changing in response to an item (Wonder Flower anyone?) is a great idea. It would tie the game to Mario Wonder obviously, but also give Nintendo an excuse to remix old stages again. Mario Kart 8 has a massive selection, but using a Wonder Flower on old favorites would make them feel new. Plus it dovetails nicely with the idea of making experts less able to dominate since they wont be able to see what version of the track is coming.
Okay but seriously if they do guest characters Sonic is a total possibility since Nintendo considered him for Double Dash. Also SEGA wanted Mario in All-Stars. Pac-Man is another possibility since Miyamoto pushed for him in Smash and he's already playable in the arcade series. Either way, its going to happen since the developers said the floodgates for guests are WAAAAAY open (let's not forget the amino costumes).
Here’s what they should do: Add all characters from smash More parts Remove coin item Add mission mode Add giant mushroom More tracks 100 player mode with x3 sized tracks
An Easy way to fight on a regular race track.. You'd just need a barrier in the front and back.. where fast racers can't go past the front barrier, and slow players get pushed forward by the barrier.. the barrier could do slight damage. I should mention every racer has a health bar.
First of all, I want pikmin crossover Second of all, I want pikmin crossover Third of all, mario kart maker could have the sane elements of the hot wheels unleashed where you use pre made track parts and they could add an advanced version

One idea i had was a ramp that allowed the kart to turn into a jet ski. So instead of sinking, it would ski across the water. However, it would be a “fragile advantage”, meaning if you bumped into a wall or got hit by an item, you would sink into the water like normal.
Idea: what about some missions that are set in the Mario movie like driving with the van (even though it didn’t happen) the king kingdom and the movies version of random road, could be fun
I would want them to add that last man standing mode from SRB2 Kart where after a certain amount of time last place dies and it just keeps killing last place until only the person in first is left.
I mean yeah after you get the triple star gold trophy for each Cup on all 4 CC difficulties 8 Deluxe does get a bit stale. But it's much more fun with multiplayer mode either online or local. But other than that it's a really stale game unless you're part of the 8 Deluxe Speedrunning group. That's when it get's super fun trying to get the fastest time per track and finding those exploit glitches to save major times. I remember on the Wii you had to do so much stuff in order to unlock characters/vehicles. One of those things is no longer unlockable since it was for you to win a certain amount of online races/battles.
Here’s an idea I’ve been thinking about for a while now: Mario Kart: Kingdom Tour/Rally Open World Racing Concept where you can explore the vast world of the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, while competing in the Mushroom Kingdom World Grand Prix for the Ultimate Prize: the Grand Star Trophy!!!

I don’t think we should get rid of the coin tbh. It may seem like a useless item once you unlock everything but I genuinely feel it’s huge when it comes to balancing items. Especially if you have someone in first for the majority of the race since getting coins in that place happens more often than not and allows other players to have a chance to hit them considering they can’t block attacks with coins.
or just bring back the fake item block and give that to the 1st player instead, but the coins are alright
Thats why I argue with my husband to not disable the coins when we race each other 😂 He always be blocking my red shells
The coins are literally utterly useless. They should absolutely be removed
@@RobinsMusicI agree, some item that can be used to attack but not block. Maybe the fake item block, maybe something from new Mario games (Wonder etc)

Mario Kart X is definitely going to be Nintendo's next live service with years of updates. They've had at least 6 years for development.
its mario kart 9 if tour counts in the mario kart series then mario run is a mainline mario game
@@shadedalion5478 I bet you my virginity that its gonna say mario kart 9 when it comes out
@@shadedalion5478 also Home Circuit isn't in the lineup either I think , but Tour is, that's also why its tracks are labeled as retros
@@dustymcwari4468 yup. Home Circuit is regarded as a spin-off (of a spin-off). Plus there are no track presets they could use from Home Circuit since it was supposed to be a make it yourself in your home thing.
Imagine the wonder flower being an item and there’s a handful of wonder events that are picked by random every time one is activated 😯
I had that idea as like a bit of a track gimmick, like the Wonder Flower spawns somewhere on the track at a certain time, whether predetermined or at random, and driving into it would trigger a Wonder Effect thay drastically changes how you play, so you can have some strategy with it
Do you avoid the Wonder Flower and win via skill and item play?
Or do you take advantage of the Wonder Flower's crazy effects to try to steal a win?
@@cjlite0210 having it just show up randomly in the track is actually a great idea

Yea that would be cool and a level editor would be awesome I’m not sure if this is in the video or not because I’ve not watched it yet tho

I would love if they added a racetrack maker, I don't care if they limit it to SNES and GBA style tracks, just being able to make your own tracks would be cool as hecc
And it would be nice that for vehicle stats we pick an engine with those stats so we can pick whatever vehicle we want, because it really sucks that many cool looking vehicles have horrible stats
I think limiting it to SNES/GBA style tracks would probably be better in the end, as it would keep track creation simple.
Advanced mide editor could look similar to Zeepkist
(people are really sleeping on Zeepkist tbh)
Look out little big planet karting, it had a pretty well thought out creatiô system
A story mode where you can play alone or with friends locally or online where each level is a race with progressively more difficult obstacles and cpu would be cool. Maybe every few races there could be a boss where you keep doing laps of the track until you take out the boss with items or something
I feel the way Mario Kart can make the big leap is by using the Diddy Kong racing formula and build three type of vehicles.
Sort of like Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
I think there should be a shop that let's us use the coins we gathered. For costumes, kart skins, showcasing stats / achievements
Common Tour W
Please no, Mario kart does not need a progression mechanic aside from the regular methods. That would be awful.
@Yuuri066 everyone has an opinion
@@Yuuri066 It's pretty much the system that's already in Mario Kart 7 and 8, except instead of unlocking a random kart piece, you get to choose what to unlock in a shop
I like how you styled this in the style of a moon video
How is this a moon video
Synthwave, the style is named synthwave.
good visuals + smooth British voice = Moon I guess
I think it would be cool if you could set your own item balancing. Like with the custom items in 8DX but more in depth
Little Big Planet carting is a classic
The idea for Mario Kart Maker sounds like it could be like Modnation Racers in terms of track customization. I like it!
If we get a Track Editior like ModNation, I would love it so much
Not gonna lie, I want a sequel to Double Dash, along with the Special Items that certain characters get 😂
I think a somewhat normal Mario Kart 10 would be fine but add elements of the Mario Kart Maker idea. Instead of it being fully customized tracks, you could get both. Like what molded Wii had to offer. You could even add a last man standing mode.
love ur videos dawg, ur gonna be huge if u keep posting
KFC??? Bro what is this luck
YOU HAVE A BALD SPOT YOU CANT ESCAPE THE TRUTH
i would like the next mario kart to look similar to the tour renders, with the stylised effects for the tires and particles. also unlockable stickers you can put on your karts.
I remember since 2015 I always wanted a Mario Kart Maker, mainly because of Wii custom tracks being super popular in 2014.
When they make MK10, I really think they should add a course maker mode
This makes it so they don't really need a new gimmick (flying etc) besides the course maker
Then the game wouldn't need tons of new characters or powerups either
The course builder is allowed to be simple, because it's part of the package. The builder could still have two modes: "simple" and "advanced", for both new and skilled builders ;)
A great idea would be a new artstyle, similar to the approach of Mario Wonder to keep the game fresher
I think adding the bubble flower could be nice, throw a barrage of bubbles that when hit bump you to the side
3:11 Or 9/1-"
GET OU-
Maybe the next Mario Kart game will have as a Dlc, the "Forsaken course pass".
It's like the Booster course pass from Mk8dx, but less disappointing cuz there will be tracks that never make their way as a retro track in 8 Dx (or Tour) (if Mk tour is apart of the mainline Mario Kart games).
Nintendo should hire this guy
One feature that I would love is more realistic snow and ice physics. Like if your car starts to slide uncontrollably if you go to fast on icy surfaces. Weather based items too like a Mr Blizzard that temporarily covers the track in snow. Or a thunderstorm item that makes it rain and have random lightning strikes on the track. Maybe a Tweester you can fire at your opponents that lifts them in the air.
The Mario Kart Maker idea would be brilliant. I loved racing on new innovative tracks and recreated ones from other games and movies in HotWheels Unleashed. I think it'd sell
@@zefunkikoopa 😑not that camera live one, come on dude
Mario Kart Xtreme: All tracks, characters, kart parts, items, and modes in one game.
1:07 - The coin was actually added in MK7. In Deluxe, it's an annoying item, but it balances the game well
I play VS Race and put in Team Mode, and only give Coins to the blue team and Golden Mushrooms, Blue Shells, Bullet Bills, etc. to the red team
Mario Kart maker would be genius, following the footsteps of the mod-nation racers games.
2:19 you had me choking so many times through out this vid but this one KILLED ME
Mario Kart Maker could be inspired by PS3's Modnation Racers in its creation of circuits, if they plan it well they don't even have to think about inventing more new circuits ever
My Mario kart 9 idea:
First up, tour is mainline, but Mario kart 9 is a sequel to 8 (deluxe) and tour is just a mobile game, we still have new super Mario bros. 2 after Wii, if by the every mainline game counts idea it should be new super Mario bros. 3ds instead.
I think the new items can be the double cherry and cloud flower
-Double Cherry: Clone yourself, gaining one more item slot and player can swap to their clones too.
-Cloud Flower: Create three clouds, which stops the racers and they have to drive around it as a solid
The mission mode should be back, with more creative missions too.
All the mechanics from 8 deluxe are back except for the coin item, the coins are also have a 20 instead of a 10 cap.
Double drivers are also back as a option, with two items with single drivers and three with two drivers
This game introduces sky driving sections with purple pads that let the drivers drive freely in the sky with full control, it also allows drill to pop out when there is walls or ground that is made of soft dirt to dig up them.
I had an idea based on your “environment changed tracks”
-New Waste City (based on your tactical NEWke York idea ( get it nuke and new york… I’m bad at puns )
-Wonder Flower Highway ( it constantly changes like its a fork but instead of it being your choice you have follow whatever route the road picked for you )
-Inverted Laps ( it’s basically some random levels stitched together ( it wouldn’t change what tracks but it would change what order like “bowsers castle then a rainbow road then Wario mountain or whatever it’s called “ but next time it changed the order “
1:22 the super bell is already in tour!
Endo never fails to make videos when you can like see when you make the videos so you can find out the thing about that stuff you wanted to see
Well said
Gonna be honest... Most of these ideas (except for the wonder flower thing) are just ideas from the older games, and could just be re-introduced in 8 Deluxe.
Here are some features that were already done by previous titles (including Arcade which I know most don't count) before (except for the SNES game because that counts more as laying the groundwork for future titles):
-Mission Mode: DS did this, and was actually (sort of) brought back through Tour's cups having only 3 races and one challenge (now that I think of it, this is also kinda similar to the original Arcade GP).
-Changes to a course with race progress: Technically done with Super Circuit, but truly kicked off with Wii (Grumble Volcano)
-Underwater/Gliding: 3DS.
-Anti-Gravity: Wii U.
-Guest Characters: Arcade/DS.
-Retro Tracks: Super Circuit.
-Custom Characters: Wii (Miis)
-Multiple Track Variants: Tour
-Handheld/Mobile: Super Circuit (though DS was the first to use 3D models in this style)
-3D Assets: N64 (though it was just the tracks, as the characters and items were still 2D).
-Different Vehicle Types: Wii.
-Tricks: Also Wii.
-More than 8 Characters: Double Dash.
-Double Item Slots: Double Dash (works different than it does now on Switch, and was also brought to Tour alongside Triple Item Slots)
-Item Frenzy: Tour.
-"Custom" Tracks: Home Circuit (because I don't count mods)
-Crossover Tracks: Wii U (or 3DS if you count DK Jungle as a Donkey Kong Country track and not a Mario track)
-Motion Controls: Wii.
We need a pikmin track in the next mario kart or in the booster course pass
There's someone making a Pikmin mod, and it has stuff like a playable Waterwraith, and easily the most creative vehicles I've ever seen, my favorite is a donut carried by White Pikmin, and with a Breadbug hanging from behind as if it was a tug of war like the ones you gotta do when fighting them at Glutton's Kitchen, and u also use the flower of one of the Pikmin as steering wheel xd, its a work of art
@@dustymcwari4468thank you
For a MK Maker, they could take from Diddy Kong Racing DS.
Glad you like it!
I don't mind the NintendoKart idea, but I want it to be EXTENSIVE. As in, ALL Nintendo characters, not just popular ones.
I Mean Maro Kart Has Done Something Like The Final Smash In Double Dash When Diffrent Characters Got There Own Diffrent Item
Maybe Captain Falcon will be playable in the next Mario Kart game.
Nintendo: “write that down, WRITE THAT DOWN”
I've always hated the idea of crossovers in mario kart, because it really cuts the originality that comes from the game.
I remember a little big planet racing game where you could make your own tracks.
Why not have the double cherry also make it possible to have double items slots for one lap. That way its limited to mid to last place racers and helps them get more chances of getting shells and power items. Maybe make the second slot be limited to certain items so no one gets something like a bullet bill and a superstar.
A Mariokart styled after Forza Horizons would be soooo sick.
I would love to have a Mario Kart with all these features. It would be the best we've ever had
Yes, and I hope the next Mario Kart has the graphics from Mario Kart 8/base Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Also, I think the next Mario Kart game will be a port of the entire Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, but it will have new tracks along with the ones that are already in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
@@nolanjthesupergoanimator2909 So it's Maroo Kart 8 Deluxe Deluxe?
@@metawarp7446 Maybe OR it might be Mario Kart Ultimate
I love the fact that the video is EXACTLY 9 minutes long
To make it even better, it’s 9 months ago for me lmao
A map like in forza that you can play with your friends or alone and online
You can just drive around, challenge them to races, or just do normal Grand Prix or battle mode
If you switched places that could open up a WHOLE hell of a lot of sabotaging and I am not opposed to that
That’d be FIRE. Could swap from Mario to bowser or smth. Maybe even steal the items the person had.
honestly it’s gets so interesting when u start talking about a potential nintendo kart game
3:24 finally someone mentions this, I’ve been saying this for so long
I think that coins should be an item, but only if you're at less than 5 coins, that way it's garunteed to be beneficial, to the full extent.
Here’s what they should do:
Add all characters from smash
More parts
Remove coin item
Add mission mode
Add giant mushroom
More tracks
100 player mode with x3 sized tracks
Maybe the next one will include go-karts
An Easy way to fight on a regular race track.. You'd just need a barrier in the front and back.. where fast racers can't go past the front barrier, and slow players get pushed forward by the barrier.. the barrier could do slight damage. I should mention every racer has a health bar.
It’s just an auto-scrolled track…
I believe my expectation of there being karts was met - well made video, lol
First of all, I want pikmin crossover
Second of all, I want pikmin crossover
Third of all, mario kart maker could have the sane elements of the hot wheels unleashed where you use pre made track parts and they could add an advanced version
I want a cappy item where you can throw it and if it hits a player, you swap places. But if it hits a shell or banana, you spin out

The ghost power up was introduced in Mariokart 64. Its an old itme. MK8 also removed fake item boxes.
Would be cool. Also, I know It's a typo but I liked the "random road".

I would want them to add that last man standing mode from SRB2 Kart where after a certain amount of time last place dies and it just keeps killing last place until only the person in first is left.
Actually, holding an item for grabbing a second one, works excatly the same as having 2 item slots like in MK8D
Ur profile photo for a second made me think this was a Nintendo post lol
How dare you call my ego points useless
Here’s an idea I’ve been thinking about for a while now:
Mario Kart: Kingdom Tour/Rally
Open World Racing Concept where you can explore the vast world of the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, while competing in the Mushroom Kingdom World Grand Prix for the Ultimate Prize: the Grand Star Trophy!!!
next Mario Kart should be a Roguelike Soulslike Battle Royale with 99 unique tracks and items
i do not know what next for mario kart so im about to watch this and learn
Well Mario Kart X is honestly not even close to being the next game. I’m sure the MK dev team is thinking of something more creative.
