You know you're gonna be one of the greats when buddy guy plays with you on your first album
Buddy Guy might be a God but Ingram is a _gift_ from God.
I just ran across this guy and thought Buddy Guy should know about him, guess Buddy beat me to the punch. Thank God real black blues is still alive in Chicago. This kid has his own thing, his own twist on the blues, thankyou blues gods for sending us this gentle soul.
Finally he's going to have an album out. Now the rest of the world is going to know what those of us in the Mississippi Delta have known for years about this kid. Congratulations Kingfish!

I heard “662” on WPFW just the other day. Before that, Ingram was not on my radar at all. I immediately bought the MP3 for “662” but noticed that the audience rating was pretty high for his theme song, “KINGFISH”. So I bought that too without listening to it. I knew he had a collaboration with Buddy Guy and I wanted to hear that. I really like it so I’m thinking the next step is just to buy the whole damn album. I’m thinking I’m going to like _everything_ he does.

best "new" blues artist in this decade !!!
I saw this kid play 3 nights ago and he brought the house down in New England. What made it all the more special was that he brought a young east coast friend on stage with him for one of the numbers and the two of them together was nothing short of guitar magic.

This is certainly the artist I was the most eager to see on stage in 2020 ! I had my ticket for the Paris show, and of course it was cancelled ! This was supposed to be a BLUES year for me (Poppa Chubby, Walter Trout, and other bands), but all the show were cancelled and my only concert in 2020 was .... Dream Theater.

What other 20 year old do you know that can say that?
