Kingfish is like a fine wine - just keeps improving with age. The maturity in his playing for this stage in his career in insane. And Chris, well nothing needs to be said - man is musical genius.
Chris hits it hard and is already such a seasoned performer he waits for the others to catch up to him/his groove and graciously doesn't blow them off the stage. But his blues chops ring through true while the other players, while good/great alone, are pale reflections of Chris and his feels. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
@@craigmack-cv3cp Fair - but I don't say that lightly. Watch BB King live at Kinshasa - this isn't lightyears away from that. But agreed that heaping unnecessary pressure on the guy isn't useful.
Man, I've watched this video so many times now. Chris Cain is in total harmonisation with his instrument and the backing band is such a fine compliment to these wizards, they don't get the credit and acknowledgement they deserve. I reckon it's such a "lightning in a bottle" moment...very authentic, sincere and genuine 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Thank you so much for posting this. I've seen Kingfish a number of times and Cris Cain only once, they both leave me wanting more. Great music for my soul.
Absolutely stunning! Kingfish a class of itˋs own! Chris Cain a class of itˋs own! And Cody Wright a class of itˋs own! Kind of a Blues Supergroup playing in a veeeerrry small stadium! 😃
Two of my favorite blues players. Can’t get over the incredible chops for both of you. Chris Cain and Christine “THE Kingfish” Ingram, you guys are the best!! Thanks for posting this.
Being from the S.F. Bay area, I've seen Chris dozens of times ,at small clubs ( Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz ,J.J. in San Jose among others)and blues festivals. I had a chance to talk with him a few times, great guy and always at the top of his game.
Thanks so much for posting this smoking performance..wow...Chris and Christone are both bringing it here.To think this is basically an unrehearsed jam is amazing how great it is.The band is right there to,this young man from Mississippi has a great future ahead. Been a fan of Mr.Cain to since the late 80's and one of my favorite guitarist, love the smile on his face to,this clip sure brought one to mine :) This is a Little Milton song and love those little licks of Milton that Christone plays in his second solo and those Albert King licks at the end..so good!
Great video, thank you. Real blues musicians playing how it should be. Real respect especially when Kingfish says Mr Cain, when he gives him the solo. Class 👍
Wow, what can you write when you hear such cosmic blues, brilliant two Chris&Chris guitars, speechless solos and a sensational bassist, the drummer doesn't rest either, he just gives his best. A blues gem. Chris Chain was in Poland last year during Rawa Blues Katowice, unfortunately I didn't admire him live then, so I'm waiting for him when he comes to us again, we are waiting for Christoph Kingfish Ingram, we are waiting and waiting, the young master is heading towards BB King's fame and class . Sorry for my only virtual English.
He's getting so much better. I used to love his acoustic work, but his electric work has definitely caught up being in the pocket and so tastful.. Love it.
Getting to see him in little old Adelaide South Australia on the 3rd April then fly up to Byron Bay Queensland for Blues Fest 23 and I'm certain it will be mind blowing !!!
Chris Cain is lucky to be in the PRESENTS of the genetic Bloodline (KINGFISH) that created the BLUES!!! I am a so called African American who is from the Mississippi Delta and the art came from the misery of slavery and racism.
This was a couple of days ago and i can see and hear this amazing playing being on the another side of globe, thanks! I dont think ill ever be at the Kingfish, at least can watch him here on youtube.
Years ago I had seen Chris playing guitar with the Roger fox band in.palmerston north New zealand I meet him I said 4 words Mike Bloomfield lives on he said yes.
Chris is responsible for the modern blues guitar sound... SRV was for so long but now with this RUclips thing, Chris's Taken the blues world by storm after a multiple decade's long carrier...
Man I wish people would stop hating on Chris Cain so much. He was great. Especially in his prime. One of the most underrated blues players of our time. Support them while they’re here.
Very cool. Just saw Chris Cain at the Cantera, always so much fun to see him. Such a gentleman. And here the drawing power to have Kingfish sit in with him. And a shout out to Cory or cody anyway the bass player. Hes terrific
That just ain't any bass player, that's Cody Wright. Cody is the truth, you can tell he's just sitting in don't know the songs and still nailing that shit.
I wish BB King was alive to see him.....
shadow king
And Freddie too!
Me too ❤. R.I.P. BB the King of blues
Doing a great job
Look closely my Blues man, he is there…Believe!

Can't agree more.
This is true... I thought he was ok when he first appeared but he's on the money now ! 🔥
Musical genius? Idk about that. But, blues phenom? Most definitely.
Blue shirt dude is absolutely FEELING Chris Cain's solo around 6:10. Beautiful thing to see music move people like that!
Kingfish and Chris Cain! That was incredible! Kingfish is so "aged" for being so young. And Chris Cain is just awesome. That bass player was wowed.
Damn, Kingfish sounds just like a prime B.B. King in that intro. Absolute mastery of tone. Wow
Don’t get carried away !

I don't have words for how good Kingfish is man. Gotta go out and see him soon.
Just awesome. There should be so many more joints like this worldwide.

I'm sitting here alone in my studio laughing my friggin head off its so good
Good is good
This is some of Kingfish'S best playing and singing. He's really matured in both departments to a rare quality.
Absolutely stunning! Kingfish a class of itˋs own! Chris Cain a class of itˋs own! And Cody Wright a class of itˋs own! Kind of a Blues Supergroup playing in a veeeerrry small stadium! 😃
The expression on Cody Wight’s face when Kingfish starts playing says it all.
Two of my favorite blues players. Can’t get over the incredible chops for both of you. Chris Cain and Christine “THE Kingfish” Ingram, you guys are the best!! Thanks for posting this.
Just know Chris Cain and mind blowing he's So Good, So beatiful 💛🍁

I’ve watched this like 50 times this month, the playing from EVERYONE is addicting
I don't know what I'd do without blues... life wouldn't be worth living without it.
I'm right there with you, brother.
Chris Cain, if you know, you know.
Good Lord have mercy! WOW!! 😲👍😲
Yea! My buddies! Cody Wright on bass! Christone and Chris Cain! Great combo ❤
This never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Two of the best to ever do it
This bass player has something special...very good, very very very good!😇
Two of my favorite players alive today
cudowne! można słuchać cały czas :)
Amazing talent and I'd love to jam with these guys.. I definitely hear some Freddie King influence in here.. Sounds great. Can't wait to see more.
Killer playlist! I must say you have excellent taste in music 🎉
What a gifted guitarist and vocalist, Kingfish is a musical genius.
This may be my favorite Kingfish moment! Dang!
Cody digging Kingfish, nice to see. Chris great as always.
that bass player !!!!! 🔥
Blues in SoCal. I had no idea, but this is awesome.
Damn! He is so good! Love his vibratto! Insane how good he is.
That’s some serious blues playing by two super, talented artists. I would love to see them both live.

Ooooof Ma man!!! Down and Gritty this cures the sad soul ...
Kingfish is...transcendent. I think he's a one-in-a-generation musician.
That's cuz he's been here before...
Except he's part of the same generation as Marcus King and Billy Strings.
Just for the record, I don't think they're 'better', just all amazing and all with different strengths. The music is always there if you look for it.
@@RagggedTrouseredPhilanthropist Good point, lol. There are so many great players. We're lucky to have access to so much great music.
Kinfish is certainly a great player but one in a generation? That’s Matteo Mancuso
This was simply spectacular.
Never would have thought I’d see these two together. Absolutely nailed it!❤️👏👏👏
Chris Cain... What a fucking legend! How lucky is Kingfish!
CC is just as lucky to share the stage with Kingfish.
Chris Cain is lucky to be in the PRESENTS of the genetic Bloodline (KINGFISH) that created the BLUES!!! I am a so called African American who is from the Mississippi Delta and the art came from the misery of slavery and racism.
It takes big balls and a lot of graciousness to have Kingfish up on your set :-)
Wow, you don't have to be a blues fan to enjoy this performance. Excellent.
Saw him warm up for Buddy Guy last September in Phoenix. He is awesome!!!!!
BBs old home is not far from me, Vegas. What an amazing talent the Kingfish is.
Very NICE! A big thank you for sharing this great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
This was a couple of days ago and i can see and hear this amazing playing being on the another side of globe, thanks! I dont think ill ever be at the Kingfish, at least can watch him here on youtube.

There are a few jealous people out there I guess, very sorry and sad cases the lot of them. What's not to like, great music.
Very cool. Just saw Chris Cain at the Cantera, always so much fun to see him. Such a gentleman. And here the drawing power to have Kingfish sit in with him. And a shout out to Cory or cody anyway the bass player. Hes terrific

Fantastic to see these amazing players on stage together. Both have an amazing tone!!
Masterclass.
the bass man is so enthralled by both these Kings, as he should be!
Oh to be in the building that night…. I guess watching it 100+ times on RUclips will do though…
Blues in good hands ❤❤❤❤❤
Helllzzzzzz to the yes 🙌
the bass player was mesmerized by kingfishs playing
That just ain't any bass player, that's Cody Wright. Cody is the truth, you can tell he's just sitting in don't know the songs and still nailing that shit.
hes just looking at what kingfish plays so he can he play the right notes.
Cody Wright played in Eric Gales’ band for a while. I think you can safely assume that he knows what to play on a slow blues.
He put the beef in his Blues ! Dame fine !
This guy is awesome! Amazing 'Old Blues-man voice too'.
Chris Cain up there like a grandpa or professor and then SLAYS and then Kingfish takes it up 20 notches. CRAZY!!
Damn, that is as good as it gets.
OMG that was awesome!
great recording it makes it a pleasure to listen to
Holy frig, so good
