Ah my heart, I loved what happened with Rietz getting his apprentice but more than anything The end with Charlotte seeing and playing in snow for the first time, this winter my heart was warmed.
Better not Charlotte is my favorite charcter. Her being jla bit jealous of the defense magic really brought her development too. Shes not just some glass cannon with no desires.
Rietz has now a disciple named Joe and he's amazing 😂 No doubt he will become a great warrior under his teaching 🤣 When Joe said to Ars "Your are the Master of my Master?!", I burst out of laugh 😂 I really like Kuran testing Ars 👌🏻 Same as Charlotte playing with snow for the first time 🥹 This show deserves more attention, love and more than 2 seasons 😌😤
I went into this anime with no expectations and have been enjoying it far more than I thought I would. I like how well all the side characters have evolved to become effective, loyal retainers for Ars and work as a team. Thanks for the video.
Rietz got a puppy, Mireille got a new drinking buddy, and Charlotte got to play in the snow for the first time. Great episode and nice to see them having fun for a change. Poor Rosell. At the end of the day, he's still a little kid despite having a brilliant mind for strategies and he worked hard on that snowman snowman that Reitz accidentally destroyed. So I don't blame him for crying about it. But at least everyone pitched in to help him build an even bigger, better snowman.
I’ve not read the manga, but LN 3 & 4 I’ve not been able to put down. We’re near the end of LN Vol. 3. I highly recommend reading on after the season ends.
The new retainer is basicly a guard dog they taken in a dog XD but he will be a good addition once he has sufficient training and battle aweness. It was nice to see them relax with snow: having snow ball fights and building armoured snowman a calm before a storm it feels like.
I honestly felt that this ep was meant to lighten the mood a bit as Ritsu gains a appentice, Charlotte has some fun with the snow, expressing her inner child, like Rosell was being a actual kid and building a snowman instead of planning out their next move on the battlefield
Chalotte was also concerned about her airtime in the show as more characters join Ars team.. LOL >_< I did not realize before this that Mireille was a monster torturer ^_^;;; Was that ever mentioned before? Personally, I actually think the artwork improved a lot from season 1. Yes, I agree in terms of animation it is not the best, but it is not the worse either. I have no complains myself.
This season has quite a number of anime showing different kinds of leaders and leadership. Some anime get a beach episode, this one has a snow episode instead.
I was aware that the animation isnt always best, but it never was distractingly bad and the story, development and everything else is so good that I never really wanted to comment about it untill it was mentioned... and yeah the fact there, are advanced tactics and also there are detail touched such as logistics, supply camps, suprise attacks, but also morale, commander jealousy etc. This really feels like living and fuctioning world.. not just some copypaste isekai world... Also this was Ars 1st warning that while he is sucsessfull, there are there are people who wants him gone and he could become target of assasination (We know already enemy is contemplating that, but this is 1st time Ars was warned) and looks like he didnt get the memo which could be fatal bcs there is usually not a 2nd warning.
It was interesting too see the conversation between Ars and Caran him question why Ars is doing all this but he knew he had no ill intent or evil scheme. It was just to ease his own subordinates because they were Jealous of the favors and respect Ars he keep getting trough his deeds. To them he is just a kid from backwater region that suddenly has these amazing people follow him, their own lord has respect.That he might want to backstab them when he has the chance. When their is success their will always be jealousy and those wanting to take it from you.
ehhhhh I dont know....his last words to the mc "ill be counting you" sounded verrrrrry seedy. Caran has been turned down twice by really good retainers who ended up joining the mc instead. Also, the mc needs to stop acting like a wimp. he might be a child because he was reincarnated but he has his memories when he was an adult. in reality those lords would end up using the mc because he has no spine
This has been a very pleasant show to follow. It's managed to avoid much of the Gomisekai tropes. Hopefully more seasons to come? I wanna see Ars become the man!
I waas expecting a usual serious strategy episode. Didn't expect a comedic / lighthearted episode 😂 even the guard defending were part of the comedy. Since it wasn't an episode with super serious fights the rough animation is acceptable tbh
what a like about the show is the villain strategy are not laughable bad and the hero is on easy mode coming up with counter. Instead you see stuff that you go ok that make sense. for example taking the 3 castles before assaulting the main city. cause they want to speed up the process they split the forces. ( a tactic that normally a no no ) the main villain aware of their forces reinforce them with a large force trying to take out one of these splt element. My girl charlote is then force into a mage duel to break the barrier so the attacker can defend the incoming force behind the castle wall while my boy riets slow down the advance troops. How he does that. He aware that they coming up a trail and they be strung out in the march. He once he start they would spread into the forest so he deploy his ground forces their to pin them on the road. while he calvery charge down the hill with the tail of the army unaware of what going on till they see the running retreating vanguard creating a route. You look at how they explain it and mentally you going yeah that check out. enemy commander made a mistake of not being prepare for an ambush as they march up the mountain. enemy has the high ground and preset his forces. Their nothing there that you go on that so stupid no one would fall for that.
