So they're not part of the royal family and now want to dispose of the real dragon emperor using Krato's spear that's been reshaped as a sword. But looks like Hadis isn't going to let that happen. And it looks like Jill may end up getting her black dragon with golden eyes soon after that egg hatches.
Usually the firstborn son is the most capable being subjected to training and grooming into the next domain ruler for a majority of their childhood. The uncle is 100% being owned by the sword made from goddess kratos' spear by said goddess.

Its the whole "Uncle's" bloodline that is not related to the OG bloodline Idk how many houses it is but I can imagine its 30% - 99% of the nobles which is alarming and Uncle is trying to kill the person who can strip him and everyone else of noble status... Basically saying I will stay in power or die trying. Which is why this discovery would create so much chaos for the kingdom in the 1st place.
That is about right. It seems to me the uncle also does not believe in Rave the dragon god, because he wants to claim the title of the Dragon Emperor without the consent from Rave. The way I see it, it is not about bloodlines, it is about who Rave accepts as the Dragon Emperor. Once Rave has decided on Hadis, it is a done deal, and nothing is going to change that.
When I saw the setup, with him in the wagon all nonchalant, I knew that he was going to blow that thing apart. The black dragon/Jill exchange was good, the dragon egg was better. I kind of expect for Jill to get some of her magic back for the next episode, she isn't really a "damsel in distress" type of character. But dude, Hadis had some Eminence vibes right at the end, and I would love to see that happen
Bro is an absolute real one I think you misunderstand why the Uncle is so evil they're family USURPED the actual royal which was Radis's he IS the rightful emperor not them it is 100% a power grab As the Uncle could have just destroyed the note so no one would know they're illegitimate rulers And that's assuming the note is real and wasn't planted there because don't you think they would have found it ages ago if it was always there?

Man I’m gonna miss this after next episode, now for the episode I loved the whole dragon aspect of it all, really showed why dragons are respected creatures and how they are important when it comes to relationships with them. As for the shocker of the family matter…. Didn’t see that coming but makes sense. Now for the bear and sautée (the chicken) gotta admit they did their job, respect. This was a good episode all around especially plot wise of the overall situation. Man I’m gonna miss this show 🥲
I have a theory that Hadis dreaming about having a party means his birthday is near and if Uncle George takes the throne there is the risk of him dying because Jill doesnt have her magic. Its an out there theory for a last episode drama but oh boy what a mess our characters are in looking forward to how it resolves.
I find it funny that a palace guard that NTR'd the emperor somehow had the real imperial bloodline. This also means that Hadis and Elentzia aren't blood related, which if this were a different kind of show. My money's on Hadis knows, Rave may have very well told him.
"If you don't want to get left behind, hurry up and get out of that shell" I can't wait to see how the dragon inside that egg reacts. Made my day, that scene, with the "How about Steak"/"I refuse" gag for dessert. Then add Zeke's plan to lure Jill to their hiding cave by using the scent of the rations made by Hadis (and I think it would've worked like a charm, btw). Never change, Zeke. But on the serious side, Jill is going to smash that fake sword like she did with the spear and flip the finger to that yandere goddess once again, well does she deserve it. Worst stalker of this season. THAT's obsession! Now, what has me waiting in anticipation for next week (and cursing the need to go to family gatherings... not! ravioli win... Damn... I'm like Jill: I think with my stomach and liver...) is how will Jill handle the whole situation when Hadis starts chopping heads. Uncle is a given. No tears will be shed for him. But what about Bro and Sis? Especially Sis, considering how Jill saw her perish during the og timeline. As predictable as these fantasy series are (more so the "redo" series, Jap or Korean, especially Korean), it's those moments what I'm here for. To see the writers' skill at resolving things. Great xmas viewing, and I'm going to enjoy it with my anime-loving relatives.
Holy moly...! The Uncle reveal' about his bloodline not being the original one was crazy 🤯 Same as for what the female black dragon "Steak" reveal to Jill! Elentzia deserve a 2nd chance in my opinion 🤔 That smirk of Hadis at the end was kinda scary... No doubt that next week, the finale episode of S1 will be as amazing as this one 😌
I hope we get an S2 because even if they resolve the shitshow with the uncle, there's still whatever Faris and Gerald are up to to deal with. It's been a very fun ride and despite the occasional PNG slide, it still looks good overall as a show.
Novel. It's way farther than the manga. In fact, last I checked, the manga is around the point where Risteard finds Hadis in the cabin. So yeah, I recommend getting the novel, and I will do just that with my xmas bonus. Six volumes already officially translated up 'till now.

The PNG slide is a gimmick they have been using from the beginning. It is actually cute when they do that with the chibby versions of the characters.
