Another really helpful video. I have only just started and find it very relaxing. Glad you dont add music and apparently the correct pronunciation is ' all '. Thank you
You are the best teacher I have come across. I truly appreciate how your explanations are so clear and concise without the extra chatter that distracts from the instruction. I am so new to this I don’t have anything yet but can’t wait to give it a try. I was trying to cross stitch but I’m having too many problems. Thank you so much!😊👍😊
Thank you for teaching me how to felt. I just got my felting supplies and didn't know where to start. I then found your channel! I binged watched your beginning videos. You are an excellent teacher and this girl really appreciates all your tutorials.
So it seems like the ‘core’ color doesn’t matter, because you cover it anyway? So if I have a bunch of a random leftover color, I could use that for the core color instead?
I’m having a nightmare with the tail. I wrap the wool around the pipe cleaner as tight as I can but the wool just keeps working lose even when I’ve needle felted it for ages. I’ve tried less wool and different pipe cleaners lol! but can’t get it as tight and shiny as your tails 😩. My wool is just getting more fuzzy as I’m working on it (the tail part that is) Where could I be going wrong? Thank you.
Keep the wool very thin and flat, a fine needle really helps to secure it, here's my wrapping legs video showing it up close. I generally use carded wool but tops does a really good job for things like tails x ruclips.net/video/uREuOAHeczs/видео.html
Thanks for the video link Philippa. I’ve got some tops and did think about trying that instead. Should have had more confidence in myself and gone for it. My legs are working out well I think though ☺️.
Lots of fluff at the end, about an inch above the body andcplenty of deep stabs with a strong needle, then cover with more wool, are you definitely using carded wool?
Your such a fantastic teacher!
Thank you!

Thank you!
I love your videos! I find them so helpful. Please consider a video on choosing the better fleece for needle felting. Thank you
Hi, thanks so much for watching, do you mean choosing an actual fleece or just types of wool to work with x
They are so cute, I have to make one. Have a good day and stay safe. 💜
Thank you so much, really pleased you like them, take care x
Am thinking of learning how to needle felt so binge watching your videos, cant wait to get some stuff and give it a try 😁
Excellent, it really is a great craft, carded wool is easiest and a 38 triangular needle is perfect for starting x
@@feltsbyphilippa you make it look so easy, i hope i can do it fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Practice really helps, hope it goes well x
Thank you for doing these piggies. My dtr will be getting them for Christmas.

Phillippa! You should have a felting book! Do you sell tutorials? Your RUclips videos are brilliant.
Hi, I only have a few, link in description, doing more as we speak, thanks for your kind words, a book is a big jump but maybe, maybe x
Have you ever thought about doing your own book about felting for beginners anyway please keep safe and well love Lesley 😍
It's a maybe for next year, just thinking about projects for it this year and whether am able to do it, thanks for thinking I could xx
Please may you do a video about world of wool ...I got lost when looking. Lovely Piggys so cute
Thank you, I'm trying to get World of wool to agree to me to video but nothing from them so far, I'll keep trying, thanks for watching x

Yes, absolutely, I do that all the time, core wool can be anything but don't use it for a leg or something thin as it might come out the other side x
you black wool looks like it has purple in it though the camera hahahahahahah Happy felting hon xxxxxx
Thanks Beth xx

Hi Philipa , I’m working on this lil piggy right now but was wondering what gauge the needles are you have tied with the elastic? Thanks
Hi, they are my absolute favourites 38 gauge spiral/twisted from Heidifeathers, hope your little piggy goes well, thanks for watching x

Brill but they do come with practice, you always improve with every felt x
I try and put legs on things but it just keeps falling off 😐 how do I do it
