I liked how she's helping the rebels, but not in an obvious way. Maybe it was her fellow Elite 10's expulsions that forced her to recognize Azami as a farce.
I don’t think thats actually what she’s doing. Think about it. If she really wanted to do that, why compete in the team Shokugeki at all? Why not throw the match, or better yet, join the rebels in the final fight. In the end, her participation alone was nearly enough for central to win. Especially since she took down Aldini and the ramen guy single handed. On the other hand, from what Ive seen, Rindou is kind of acting like a cat. Have you ever seen one corner a mouse before? They get bored when they know that the fight is over. In short, Rindou is the pure embodiment of chaotic neutral, doing whatever she wants, whenever she wants. That includes doing random things from time to time to see what happens, like a cat pushing a glass off a table.
Rindou does the things she does because it is fun for her. That's why she voted Azami to be thr new director because she thought itd be fun. She never takes things seriously just like the moon fest arc where she went to every booth to eat and never helped tsukasa because helping im her perspective would be boring.

Rindou does what she does for shits and giggles. She voted for Azami because she wanted to ride the wave and she let Megumi and Takumi pass because it wouldn't be as interesting to have them expelled and gone.
Rindou senpai manga panels go hard af. You can literally feel that manga artist draws her panels with the most love and care. Every scene with her in manga is beautiful especially the alligator scene. That scene was fcking brutal ad scary in manga. Yet she was shown as badass.

In this case, she tried to terrify them because they were facing a second seat member of the elite ten. She used her position for leverage while simultaneously putting off the actual test and avoiding giving any information about it for as long as possible, making both anxious and nervous. In reality, though, a level head, even in a stressful situation such as this one would be all a skilled chef needs to pass.
I don't hate Rindou, but i find her character boring. She barely had done anything interesting to the story. All she did was to give a smirk here and there, make some jokes and be pretty. We got a long time without getting to know anything about her, not even her cooking speciality. The girls Nene and Momo were introduced at the end of the Central arc and yet, we still had more informations about them than about Rindou. Unlike Rindou, we got informations about their quiks, their struggles and their speciality. Rindou is not a bad character, but her execution was slow and boring in my opinion.

I loved this scene in the Manga. Chaapters earlier, she approached them threateningly, and then turned it into something simple and fair.
