Despite how shady he is he's the best negotiator out of everyone so his skills in handling admin related stuff is a great asset for the Elite Ten. Even without using cheap tactics he's still one of the best chefs in the show.

@@onetired2594 alice has beaten ryou and akira plenty of times in a shokugeki, something which megumi has never done. ryou tied against soma and akira beat soma. sure that was before but if we’re only speculating, alice should still be superior to megumi. alice was already just so much better than megumi at first and im positive she got better. megumi has improved a lot but i still can’t see her winning against the top chefs in her generation unless it actually happens. so yea you’re right, we may never know but most likely alice is stronger.

but hayama was the winner of the tournament (forgot the tournament name) and although it was way before and he didn't contributed in fight but he can defeat takumi in shokugeki and his tournament feat became one major factor.

Technically, Nene and Eizan are the only sophomores who were on the side of the Central. It makes sense that they finish at the end because they were on the side of the group that lost (many seats were reconfigured depending on each other's losses). I don't think she is stronger than Isshiki but it might be a seat or two up ahead if she had been on the side of the winning group.

A lot of manga authors seem to have trouble closing the book on their stories and only a few seem to know how to give their books actual endings

I’m probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but it really annoyed me that Alice got the 6th seat. As a character I think she’s hilarious and fun but as a chef I think she’s pretty overrated. We never saw her win a Shokugeki, she always lost her cooking battles unless she was in a team and when watching other Shokugekis other chefs had to point out to her what made dishes special e.g a certain spice used, or cooking technique, etc. She never worked it out on her own. Megumi grew so much as character with her confidence and her cooking, she deserved to be higher than Alice in my opinion! But then again this is an anime, the big boobed, weird hair and eye colour girls always do better 🙄
Yes you are right Megumi's growth, but as you can see from the epilogue, Megumi still had to find her speciality. Whilst Alice already has experience outside of Totsuki and had her own speciality. So she definitely deserves that seat. I think though the biggest contradiction I have is Kinokuni, yes we didn't see a lot of her battles, but for someone to have gone toe to toe with Isshiki her whole life she cannot be worse that Takumi and Alice especially that shes a year older.
I agree, I feel that the hard work and effort of Megumi and Takumi went straight to the garbage, being in the elite 10 is something really good, but I felt that the current seats are quite messy, totally different from when I first saw the former elite 10. Souma, Kurokiba, Hayama and the second year seats of the elite ten make sense that they are in those positions. Alice is a good specialized chef but has barely demonstrated her skills since she is sixth, in the end the Nakiri family was always superior. The author always introduces Megumi + hard work, but in the end it is never enough, I think she would have been happier with her outside the elite 10.

Isshiki was suppose to be the 1st seat if Souma wasn't the strongest, he is the highest ranking chef in his batch so basically he is the 1st seat of his batch
The seat ranks aren't a reflection of skill. Joitichio was possibly the best chef of his class but he never got 1st seat, and isshiki was previously 7th despite being, at the very least, 2nd or 3rd seat worthy

This is the exact moment where I stopped in the manga(with the exception of reading a few tidbits of the next arc but dropped), mainly because I really don’t think you can have a better conclusion than this; yes there’s definitely some questions if Soma ever triumphed over his fathers or if Erina finally admitted his dish was delicious, but I left that for my own mind’s imagination.

I think Isshiki deserves the first seat. Yes, Yukihira did the most effort in the Team Shokugeki (preparation and battle) but i think it is obvious that Isshiki is waaay better than him. Yukihira was only able to create the caveman dish with the help of Erina. He'd lose in a one-on-one against Isshiki 😅

Ahhhm no eizan is a decent cook as well don't under estimate him he's smart when it comes to shokugeki battle he can nutrelize dishes of his opponent he know alot of foreign food and he's more experience than megumi when it comes to cooking He's been called alchemist when it come to cooking for a reason

Nothing really happened in the ending. It is so bland af - First Soma became like his father who became a famous travelling chef -Erina has an older brother (Asahi ) which will first court Erina so it is like incest but later they find out and many shit happens. - The Bookmaster is Erina's Mom - The Last Arc turned into something like Kuroko where the Antagonist has a Power and Soma defeated him because he is the main character. - Soma never really won a fight against Erina - SomaXErina was never confirmed but there is still a chance maybe a 5 or 10 yrs. Time skip - The Look of Soma's Mother is just a girl version of Soma and after the haircut she looks like hisako. - Nothing really stands out :( - No ships were sailed and it was pretty dissapointing

I’m probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but it really annoyed me that Alice got the 6th seat. As a character I think she’s hilarious and fun but as a chef I think she’s pretty overrated. We never saw her win a Shokugeki, she always lost her cooking battles unless she was in a team and when watching other Shokugekis other chefs had to point out to her what made dishes special e.g a certain spice used, or cooking technique, etc. She never worked it out on her own.
Megumi grew so much as character with her confidence and her cooking, she deserved to be higher than Alice in my opinion!
But then again this is an anime, the big boobed, weird hair and eye colour girls always do better 🙄

Yes you are right Megumi's growth, but as you can see from the epilogue, Megumi still had to find her speciality. Whilst Alice already has experience outside of Totsuki and had her own speciality. So she definitely deserves that seat. I think though the biggest contradiction I have is Kinokuni, yes we didn't see a lot of her battles, but for someone to have gone toe to toe with Isshiki her whole life she cannot be worse that Takumi and Alice especially that shes a year older.

I agree, I feel that the hard work and effort of Megumi and Takumi went straight to the garbage, being in the elite 10 is something really good, but I felt that the current seats are quite messy, totally different from when I first saw the former elite 10. Souma, Kurokiba, Hayama and the second year seats of the elite ten make sense that they are in those positions. Alice is a good specialized chef but has barely demonstrated her skills since she is sixth, in the end the Nakiri family was always superior. The author always introduces Megumi + hard work, but in the end it is never enough, I think she would have been happier with her outside the elite 10.

The seat ranks aren't a reflection of skill. Joitichio was possibly the best chef of his class but he never got 1st seat, and isshiki was previously 7th despite being, at the very least, 2nd or 3rd seat worthy

@@bacd-nn2lg it has ended a few months ago. the ending was really crap. erina and soma had feelings for each other but the mangaka said it was to early for marriage so we didn"t get a single known couple in the end.

This is the exact moment where I stopped in the manga(with the exception of reading a few tidbits of the next arc but dropped), mainly because I really don’t think you can have a better conclusion than this; yes there’s definitely some questions if Soma ever triumphed over his fathers or if Erina finally admitted his dish was delicious, but I left that for my own mind’s imagination.

Yes, Yukihira did the most effort in the Team Shokugeki (preparation and battle) but i think it is obvious that Isshiki is waaay better than him.
Yukihira was only able to create the caveman dish with the help of Erina. He'd lose in a one-on-one against Isshiki 😅

Also Soma never defeats his father which was literally one of the main goals of Soma's journey, the manga ends in a pretty disappointing. Which makes me really dissatisfied as a fan of the series 😢
Nothing really happened in the ending. It is so bland af
- First Soma became like his father who became a famous travelling chef
-Erina has an older brother (Asahi ) which will first court Erina so it is like incest but later they find out and many shit happens.
- The Bookmaster is Erina's Mom
- The Last Arc turned into something like Kuroko where the Antagonist has a Power and Soma defeated him because he is the main character.
- Soma never really won a fight against Erina
- SomaXErina was never confirmed but there is still a chance maybe a 5 or 10 yrs. Time skip
- The Look of Soma's Mother is just a girl version of Soma and after the haircut she looks like hisako.
- Nothing really stands out :(
- No ships were sailed and it was pretty dissapointing
