    Congrats, Tom! So happy for your success. Six reschedules is mad! You've raised the bar in terms of being persistent and have therefore inspired me to keep going. Cheers, mate.

    The fact that Tom had 6 reschedules and still followed through is commendable, also almost surpassing his annual income in about 10 seconds is insanely motivating… but as I’ve always told myself, it’s less about the money and more about the freedom and the joy that comes with doing what you love for a living and the ability to spend more time with the ones you love… So Congrats Tom🏆

      Thank you for the kind words. You’re spot on, it’s the freedom of time it allows which is so valuable.
      My teaching is part time and paid hourly. Completely at the mercy of school holidays so.. annually it’s not much but it’s the time it takes!

    Just like almost everything in life, persistence and not giving up is a big part of being successful! Have the mind of a child.. when you want that toy, go for it and don’t give up! Just don’t cry! Lol. Great story Tom!

    It's interesting to see how you've found success in the business of creating music for brands. The way you've navigated this niche and developed a strong presence is quite impressive. It's clear that there's a lot of strategy in this path too, I understand it more every single day just hitting that "send" button. Your journey in this industry could serve as a source of inspiration, keep up the great work!

      Indeed - it can be confusing to navigate this - and that's why I believe in setting a clear and concrete direction - this way you know what steps to take to get to the destination. Otherwise you end up doodling, dabbling and jamming with nothing to show for it.

    Hi can you tell me what is a Musical Brief? Would also tell me other (terms or names) that I should know when it come to referring musical items of someone’s music? What I mean is are there other names out there like a Musical Briefs?

    • @studiozeeandco
      @studiozeeandco  Год назад +1

      A music brief is a description of the creative direction and intent for the song, score or sound design for a particular campaign. The music brief will tell you what kind of song the client expects - what kind of structure, emotion, etc - and usually they will also include a reference track for inspiration. Hope this helps!

    Isnt this entire path being erased by the new year with AI?

    • @studiozeeandco
      @studiozeeandco  Год назад +1

      As you can see - commissions coming from relationships you have established with other humans are still alive and well. We keep our eye on AI but for now - nailing custom scores and songs is still in the hands of humans. 🙏
