How do you secure a job as A&R administrator as someone coming from a corporate job (Law firm) I have enough admin experience and I am also a bedroom DJ & producer, been into music ever since I got bamboozled to study law. How do I link those two experiences to help me land an A&R clerical job.
Hey Julia, I went to Belmont and I agree with you! It can be super overwhelming but it's also really exciting! Don't worry by the time you leave you'll have a great overview and understanding of the industry.
@@OfficialFCMusic Hey! I just want to say thank you so much for this video. It was so insightful. I am currently attending Belmont and wanted to know if you guys ever work with them to recruit interns? I would definitely be interested!
i’m currently in secondary school and i am in all of my school’s music clubs and i am music ambassador as well but all of this seems very stressful and i’m not sure what i should do by the way i’m 12 currently
I have a question, can you do both live performance and music business as a job? Because I graduate in a year with a public relations and advertising degree and I’d like to use it but I’d also love to continue be a professional musician. I consider myself a skilled player and I feel that I will be able to succeed in the music industry but it’s really tough figuring out the right way to execute it successfully
This is a tough question - I think taking full time work in the music business will take away more time to work on music but you will live more comfortably than if you were working part time! The benefits of full time work may actually help you work better during your nights and weekends on your music. However, by taking a full time job in the industry you lose time you could be working more on your craft.
I am 15, I am sure I don’t need college. I want a job in the music industry, I have no set skill set yet, any help? I am also in a norteno Spanish group and I go to festivals, nightclubs, and sometimes around music people
Skill set is uber important. Master your craft In order to get noticed. It has to be of “billboard chart” quality to compete. We have lots of videos on these ideas, watch thru some of our others! Thanks! Seth
Hello there. I loved ur video. Actually from july I am joining a music school based in India for the masters degree in music production and sound design. I’m actually in a classic rock cover band in Tuscaloosa. I can’t not have music in my life. Would love to talk more about it with you. If you have a phone number or email I can reach you at.
