I assume that most people don't send a CV because they don't have any experience in the music industry because it's very difficult to get any so they know that if you look at it there's no chance they're getting hired.
The CVs I do received are usually filled with lots of experience but very little hands on experience. I'd be more impressed by a CV that showed me their studio and I saw lots of equipment that I know they are getting hands on experience with every day.
Hey Paul thanks for posting this. I am in the position right now where I have a potential opportunity to work in a multi million dollar studio. Similar to the kid described in this video I am young (18). My "in" is my guitar teacher who is good friends with the owner. If things go well I may be able to get a studio tour or some work experience. However I am looking to turn this opportunity into a real internship for this coming summer. My questions is if I can get a studio tour should I ask for an internship at the end of the tour or follow after through email. How should I shoot my shot so to speak? I already have a portfolio website and instagram prepared.
That's great news. I'd like to do an in depth video answer on this. I'll try shoot it tomorrow. I'll talk about how I'd like it to go if you were here asking me.
Hey Paul. I want to work at a music studio. I cant find anything for no experience. Im learning alone music production for 3years now and i know music cuz i know how to play the guitar. Do you think this is enough to get the job with no experience OR what do you think i need to do if not ? I aloso have SoundCloud, IG, RUclips, Beatstars. Thank you again!

How could I have a place for my animation RUclips channel?
What's a cv
Something like a resume
Just walk in and start working. If you're decent, they may let you stay. Of course, they also may call the police. 😁
