Hell yeah. Changing my system as we speak. For the 3rd time this year. Putting in a flat wall for 4 XFL 15s in my Altima. Had a 4th order half wall, with 2 15s. Wanted more tho.

huge fan of you channel by the way, but question.....I currently have 3 skar evl 18s wired to 2.67 ohms powered by a taramps md 8k (1ohm version)...big three upgrade with ofc 0ga. Wire( certified basshead ) ,250amp alt, and xs power d1200 battery in the back with stock battery under the hood .....when music is playing a low volumes voltage is fine (14v) but once I crank the volume up amp starts getting a clipped signal and voltage drops to like 10.3v and subs start smelling ....could I be clipping from low voltage or something else?
Any red light signals is a sign for higher higher volume levels then you should exceed. Usually voltage issues or just maxing out the amp. Voltage drop that bad usually is a sign of clipping dirty power and you need more electrical support.
@@JacobViral thanks man...narrowing it down to more electrical support really helped me out one more question, do you recommend adding another 250 amp alt. To the one I currently have or swap my current one out for a bigger one
@@magnoliaselbothaproducer4878 Additional Alternator or larger alternator will help, but your battery reserve is where I would focus on first after already having a high output alternator or both at the same time if budget allows.
