Tom Ansink, you have such great taste in creating sound. I bought the Reface DX just because I knew I could load your sounds in it. My son has de Electro and again you offer these superb sounds. Thanks very much!!
Were you able to make this work? I'm receiving a message of 'Download failed: File has unsupported version' when attempting to Sound Down these into the Nord Sample Editor. I'm on Electro 3 v3.14 using Nord Sample Editor v2.28.
Wish Nord electro have already the split feature so it is easy to explore on the fly, any way, I think the price we get for being able to upgrade the sounds whenever you want
I have a Nord Electro 4D and would like to know if there is a way to split between the organ and piano or organ and Samp Lib? I would like to be able to play some B3 sounds on the left and maybe some brass sections on the right via the Samp Lib.
Are those sounds will work with the Nord Electro 6D? By the way - is there any chance to book a lesson with you ? Wish to learn some stuff from you about the synths and how to save them. Im using Nord Stage 3, Electro 6D, Prophet REV2, Moog SUB37 and Reface DX :)
Hi Tom, I have d/l etc the presets but I am totally stuck with something, sorry! Should I post my question here, or on the Nord forum, please? Cheers, Paul 👍
No, in the past I had the 08 prophet6 and OB6 later they came out with the rev. It seems to me the best buying option out of those, but I didnt own it, only tried it in a music shop..
Hi Tom, many thanks for your response here. OK, so I used the Nord Sound Manager to convert the files to NE6D format - no problem. Then I dragged each file into empty locations with the NSM 'sample' page, after which they transferred to my NE6D. Now, my observation is, please: there are no FX, EQ, or similar settings assigned to each preset; in other words the presets are all 'dry'. However, in your excellent demonstrations every preset has its own dedicated FX-section settings. Would it be at all possible, please, for me to kindly request these additional settings from you (as they really do make a HUGE difference as regards to the enhancement of each preset)? I would be very happy to offer you some payment. or else trade you for a ton of samples? Many thanks, Paul 👍
Oh I see, which sounds do you mean? Not sure if I remember the exact settings, but if I see the video i remember more less. You don't have to pay me, man!
@@TomAnsinkVideos THANKS Tom, that's really superb of you mate! I have a duo gig on 14th and really want to use all of your amazing presets! It's ALL of them which are missing the FX/EQ settings. I would have assumed that these would have carried-though during the NSM conversion - but obviously not? I'm more than happy to pay you or share a ton of samples.
You are welcome. Actually you can just see in the video by the LEDs what eff was used, you only have to find the amount Which is not too difficult since the electro don't have that much of options. These aren't holy settings, just put what you think sounds best. That´s what I do all the time.
The Chameleon Bass and Clavinet was kind of unnecessary, as there is a Clavinet in the Nord Piano Library that can be used as the upper portion of the Split.
@@TomAnsinkVideos I think you'll agree that there's some truth when I say that's an unusual pairing of a 70s sound with an 80s emulation of another 70s keyboard. DX Clavs can be pretty splashy and abrasive. I suppose every sound has its place but personally I've never been a great fan. FM synthesizers are great for sounding like glass daggers but they don't have to.
@@horowizardYou said there was already a clavinet in the Nord, I said its a different sound and now you want it to be the same. You can download the sounds separately also by the way.
finally, there is at least one proper video explaining this powerful feature of Nord Electro. Kudos!

I like your démo so much, your split of the keyboard with amazing bass lines is great. Beautiful sounds and interesting style of music;)
Thanks man I appreciate it!
Great samples. Gonna have to update my electro 3 with these. Thanks

@@jmitchell465 yeah it worked no problem when I downloaded it. Not sure which version my electro/editor is off the top of my head though.
fantastic, a million thanks!
Beautiful performance bro!
Fantastic!! Your playing is right up my alley, solid work man! Can I use those 2-note patches on my stage2??
absolutely!
Incredible, thanks!!!!

I am not sure , you might have to convert them to make them compatible. I had the stage 3 for a while and that was the case, but that is easy!
Cool
Will these load onto Nord Electro 6D, please? Some great sounds there man! 😗
Yes but use nord manager software
@@TomAnsinkVideos many thanks 👍

What do you mean when you added bass notes recordings from a Moog? Do you mean you sampled a real Moog?
Yes a sub37

The Hohner clavinet sample from Nord sound´s quiet different from the DX clavinet patch I made that is based on Fm synthesis.
