Thanks for the video. I needed one more step to make mine work. For anyone who sees that the switch metal clip is not snapping onto the small ball bearing that is in the plastic part, try cleaning it up a bit (I used a Dremel with a soft wire brush attachment) and add a drop of WD-40. Now the switch easily closes.
Wow! My New cordless what clippers, (which I love), wouldn't turn off in the middle off a hair cut. I've been so upset thinking after just 1 month I have to go out and buy another pair, and their not cheap, at least for me. A year later watching but I was wondering how to rotate the posts but this worked since I could not remove posts. I also bent the switch arms. Another many years to come. Thank you.
Thank you i did know the problem on my chrome trimmer but i didnt have a solution what i did is just make it work directly without the botton on/off now im gonna fix it
The power screw on some wahl's have a tab that won't let you adjust it too much , if you find that you need to go past this point you can pry the plastic bit with the tab off completely and underneath it is a normal philips head screw ....my clippers are 25 years old ..
I've been using a conair brand clippers for my dog in the summer time, now on hitting the ON switch, I get nothing, no vibrating/sound - like it's dead. I'm thinking it might be the switch now, but it's a relatively new clipper. Is there any chance of there being a "clogging sensor", a safety measure where if it's clogged it won't power up? I got it to work for a bit after whacking/shaking it. Thanks for your time and the video
I’ve had my magic clips for about 8 months and today I used them for about 4 haircuts and they were working flawlessly, I then decided to charge them and i plugged the charger in and no blue light appeared, I tried using different outlets and still no power. I then disassembled the clipper and didn’t find any faults in it. Can someone please help me I really don’t want to spend another 250$ on another pair.
Any idea how to fix a wahl senior cordless turning on by it self when its tilted in some angle? I replaced my switch already and it works good when the clipper on but when i tilt the clipper while its off, it turns on for 1 sec and goes away depending on the angle
I don’t know what country you’re from but in the US both those wires are power your 120v L1 power. The switch breaks the power. Your N neutral is the white wire.
I have a different issue. It seems that the unit works only if it is held in a certain direction. Other than a break in the wire, is there another possible cause for that?
Likely the switch. If the metal part isn't snapping over the bearing, it sits loosely in the unit, only making contact if the razor is held at the right angle to cause the switch to fall into place by gravity. See my comment above.

I have noise problem .. that started when i opened the clipper and take off the wire .. perhaps the power cord should not be completely tight??
