Good video! I have a bike like that too. How much oil does the telescope need? Is the left side the same amount as the right side? My sherco 290 2008 Black telescope. Thanks
Hi Kasza, thanks very much I appreciate your kind comment . The manual for my bike says to use 270cc in each fork leg if it's just an oil change. But use 330cc in each fork leg if they have been completely taken apart ,cleaned and rebuilt. I hope that helps you . Ride safely, cheers 🍻
Mine need doing and ive been emailing round to send em off. I've got that exact bike 08 sherco and and didnt realise it was that sort of process. Just need to find the specs for oil and quantity Thank you. Don't suppose you know where i can find a manual ??
Hi @flapper111uk . In my manual it recommends 5W or 10W fork oil depending on how hard you like your ride .If you are just replacing the oil without a rebuild teardown it recomends 270cc of oil in each leg if you do a more in depth teardown it recomends 330 cc in each leg . You can actually see that page in the video at the 6:16 minuite mark . You don't get much time to see it but if you pause the video you can see the info you need .I'm not sure where you can find a printed manual but there are sites where you can get pdf versions .Hope this info helps you . Good luck ahead .Thanks for watching .Cheers 🍺
Cheers for the help dude. Just finished doing mine and saved a ton to spend on other goodies. Found a blog that also helped and the parts from splat shop uk.
