That throw from big ben to the back of the endzone was absolutely insane.
Yeah, absolutely perfect play
I miss prime big ben.
@@jonsteider1834 me too :(
That catch aswell
@@jonsteider1834hell, after this season I miss 39 year old ben
As a Cardinals fan, watching this brings me immense pain.
Same here man
G
As a eagles fan I felt pain all my life
Eagles Fan videos I still remember that damn NFC Championship game against the Cardinals I was so pissed
Kyle Gott ikr
Same I have the pains too
This is defiently one of the greatest Super Bowls ever.
No doubt
I would say top 3.
I would say greatest
Patriots Seahawks was more exciting and overall better, after all it was voted the best game of all time. That pick at the end was possibly the clutchest play in super bowl history.
Austin Norton Obviously it is going to be voted best right now because it was fresh in everyones minds. But there are plenty of games that were way better than that game.
This is one of the best Superbowls I've ever seen!
totally
***** I don't think he'll get one this year though. If the Steelers defense become great again like in 2009, he'll definitely get one
I don't think Big Ben will get another one, there are too many teams better than the steelers in the league
Equidorian well not this year no... maybe in the next 3
shut it. *cries in corner*
I honestly think that santonio holme's catch was better to watch then Odell's was.
Well i mean like i havent seen that catch 200 times before
It wasn't.
+Lunasters Guess what? It WAS
+Spraco Gaming As a giants fan I will say holme's catch was better giving the situation and being in the super bowl, and a good display of athleticism. But based purely on the athleticism of the catch, Odell displays more skill. I mean just think, if holme's catch was regular season, it would still be good but its not as skilled as odell's. If odell completed that catch for the game winner of a super bowl, no one could question that it is the greatest catch in NFL history. So both are better then the other in whatever way you want to look at it. Just my two cents
hell yeah, dude caught it tip toe for the wining superbowl td
even if your not a steelers fan you have to admit bens confidence to throw into triple coverage with under a minute to go in the super bowl and then to put it perfectly on target is pretty amazing
Oh ya absolutely but I think the interception was more impressive, by Harrison.
Not a Steelers fan but I gotta say that is the best super bowl I've ever seen Holmes with a toe tap at the corner of the end zone with three people by him also James Harrison 99 yard pick six definitely one of the greats
its definitely an amazing touchdown. really amazing action
+BroncoFanSince03
We'll win one this year...
+BroncoFanSince03 agreed this game had it all. Both of Fitz's TD's were hype too
flash012234 no you won't lol broncos will choke like always
Riley Carlson
No way you can choke by getting to 7 super bowls... lol... What is your team? Cardinals?
Larry Fitz deserves a ring more than anyone else in the league right now...
Quavo Ratatouille agreed
I'm a seahawks fan and I agree. Fitz is awesome, I've had the pleasure to watch him play a couple times.
Yes he dose he is heart of the Arizona Cardinals
Damn right
@Inferno hell naw
As a Pittsburgh fan, that last catch by Holmes, you can't help but get chills.
+No Guilt Gaming Dude I'm a huge Seahawks fan and I can't help but get chill from that catch
over 3 Arizona defenders. Ben really threaded the needle on that one
2009 was a good year for Pittsburgh
so was 1979 apparently. wish I was alive
I know I really hopeing 2016 is a repeat of 1979 the steelers win the Super Bowl and the Pirates Win the World Series
fuck the steelers
+madringking1119 2 years later it wasnt
+Shawn Ward duck you bitch
This is my favorite SB of all time. It was so fricken good. So many huge plays that changed everything. Two amazing QB's, and great WR performances. Love watching it every time.
The James Harrison 100-yard interception TD is one of the greatest plays of all-time. Totally turned the game around.
As a steelers fan i was so scared when fitzgerald took it to larry land but ben and homes connect. Great game i remeber the day i watched it like it was yesterday
MaxumGamer Z i remember it perfectly too but as a cardinals fan hahaha
This game was crazy. As a steelers fan it was so satisfying. As a sports fan I smiled every time Fitz got those touchdowns. He's the man.
I want fitz to get a ring man he deserves one soo bad
This is one of the best Superbowls I've ever seen!
As a Steelers fan, this brings me immense joy to watch every now and then.
Fax
If the Cardinals did win this game, in my opinion Fitzgerald would have been MVP
and if your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle....
+james mcdonough lol wtf 😂😭
LOL
Bryson Hall he could've been MVP if he made a tackle...
Bryson Hall no it would've been Warner
Football doesn't get much better than this.
If the Cardinals won it'd be better.
Best Super Bowl touchdown pass ever. The angle, the catch, and the very last play
I remember that moment like it was yesterday.. amazing call. "Arizona has the lead" and I remember jumping up in joy and then collapsing after..
Big Ben's throw to win the game was magical. The catch made it immortal
One of the greatest hustle plays by Fitzgerald I've ever seen on that pick 6... dashing through blockers, running through the sidelines and actually catching him.. I know he still scored but that will to win is what makes that man so good to me
I was there. Decent seats. Best experience of my life. I was there with my entire family. dad, mom, sister, both brothers, both nephews, niece and a close family friend.
🆘 Are boys here?????🆘
I was a packer fan growing up but I was still young when this Super Bowl played I’ve been a steeler fan ever since
As a cardinals fan this stings to this day
Same
Got a chance this year
you guys are winning it all this year. mark my words bc I'm calling it
Steelers vs cardinals super bowl 50 I'm calling it right now
+Kente Charles I was hoping for it....
best superbowl, best catch and goddam it!! im a cardinal fan!! give us 1!!??
By far the best super bowl I've ever watched
Even as a seahawk fan it hurts to see Warner's last Cinderella season end like this.
Best Super Bowl I've ever watched. Super Bowl 47 would've been the greatest had the 49ers completed the comeback.
The catch is phenomenal but no one ever talks about the throw. Ben should’ve never thrown that ball it was triple coverage. Needed to be absolutely perfect and it was. Go Steelers!!!!
As a Cards fan, this kills me to watch but it is what it is.
You guys have a bright future at least.
*Super Bowl Winner : Arizona Cardinals*
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) *Super Bowl Loser : Pittsburgh Losers, I mean Steelers*
+mrghost3601 Well palmer is not going to be around long the guy is old
10 years ago already today.
Damn.
@mrghost3601 this comment aged horribly lol. Cardinals are looking to be a bottom 5 team for a loooooooong time.
We can't have anything nice in Phoenix. the Coyotes, Diamondbacks, Cardinals, and Suns have had so many troubles over the years.
I remember this game. My house was going crazy
+christian smutney same haha
Same
GO STEELERS
Floffersisusa D wv GO CARDINALS
Pretty Flacko - Is your name supposed to imply that you're a pretty version of Joe Flacco the Quarterback? Or simply that you think Joe Flacco himself is pretty? I can't judge such a thing, as I personally believe that I am the only attractive male on the planet (as all of us guys do, or, well, most of us)... Your channel's handle appears in the comment section of a Super Bowl video, one that features Mr. Flacco himself, so that's why I ask...
It's okay to deny the allegation, no one here will throw you under the proverbial bus... I realize you've intentionally misspelled his name, probably in a vain attempt to thwart the geniuses that are Football fans, but unfortunately, I've come across your comment, and I cannot be fooled... I also realize you posted this comment more than three years ago, hopefully you've found a way to survive this long, and are fully able and willing to defend your position. However, if you fail to get notified about this reply, or you're just not interested in explaining to everyone WHY you believe you're so much prettier than Joe Flacco, then your silence gets the allegation confirmed by default...
I'm sorry, but the rules of social media are just as vital and serious as our Holy 10 Commandments, and they cannot be ignored, EVER...
Same year the Penguins won the cup. 2009 was a great year for Pittsburgh!!!
+Daniel Evans Except for the Pirates
+Dylan Yeager I don't care 😒
+Dylan Yeager Boston almost had one of these in 2011 or 12😑
Andddddd, the Penwhines are a joke now.
+Aaron Martinez Huhh a Bandwagon Seahawks fan
Imagine if the Steelers had Holmes and Brown.
Dang that would be good, but right now we have a dynamic offense
+Niclacoste Santonio vs. Antonio, which is the better receiver?
+I Do Stuff LOLOL brown
Steelers defense > Bengals defense
+Niclacoste ? U cant be serious lol they are ranked 25th in the league hahaha
Having been born in dec 1978, i was to young to remember the glory years of that time. I love the 2008 team. Imo, one of the toughest teams pittsburgh ever produced.
Man you gotta have some massive balls to make the throw that Ben made. Triple coverage and he put it where only his guy could get it. Great throw great catch
I loved this game. One of the best super bowls in nfl history
I still can’t believe I got to watch this live
Greatest final 5 minutes of a Super Bowl! What an insane catch by Holmes after missing a wide open one the play before!
IMO James Harrison deserved MVP way more than Holmes. If Holmes didn't make that catch we still had other chances, but if Harrison never returned that INT for a TD we would have lost.
true , but if santonio never made the td , they still would have lost . so in both situations , they both deserved it .
Carlotta :D No we still could've won it's not like he caught the TD on 4th down. It was only 2nd.
***** Probably "The Drive" by John Elway lol
TheCam2125 It wasn't just that he had the game winning catch, the dude had 9 catches for 131 yards PLUS the game winning catch. If Harrison had the INT as well as 3 sacks and a forced fumble, then you'd be on to something.
***** How about Joe Montana's Drive against the Bengals in the Super Bowl. Only 100 times better than Roethlinsberger's in this game
The greatest sports day of my life (Steelers fan), even though I watched LSU win a national championship in 2007 and Pittsburgh win a super bowl against the Seahawks.
Not only because of the shear excitement of the game, but because I was one of two entire Steelers fans at this guys house that was loaded with people for the game. Had to be around 35-40 people all rooting against the Steelers (me and the house owner were the only Steele fans and people going for Pittsburgh). Shit talking all game until that final drive. Had everybody on hush mouth lol.
being a cardinals fan this is hard to watch
Couldn't agree with you more.
Sup fellow cardinal fan totally agree
Last season was incredible tho
yes we should have beaten the rainy city bitch pigeons in the division
can you imagine mariota coming to az?
this game had the two of the best plays in super bowl history - Harrison's run back and Holmes toe tap TD. both are incredible - and you could add Fitz's TD catch also
Greatest Pick 6 in Super Bowl history, greatest catch in Super Bowl history. Great game
Greatest pick six AND greatest catch PERIOD ( not just in Super Bowl ).
damn, the steelers are the greatest team to ever grace the NFL.-A pats fan
Wrong. - A pats fan
You are an idiot -a pats fan
Cardinals came so close just left too much time for the Steelers.
Legends Never Die As the Bengals did against the 49ers 20 years before this. Montana drove down the field in under 3 minutes.
Both teams left too much time on the clock.
Deja Vu much?
They only left 2 and half minutes on the clock. While that is a significant amount of time, If their defense plays well, then they can still win. If 47 hadn't slipped he could have tackled Holmes at about the 35 yard line with 55 seconds left. Time would tick down to about 40-45 second before the Steelers could get to the line and run a play or spike the ball. At this point if Arizona plays Cover 3 up top in a Dime package and have man to man underneath and 3 pass rushers, they should be able to stop the likely plays that the Steelers would run.
@@devantejackson8109 If that guy had not slipped the game could have gone into overtime but homie slipped and was at least partially responsible for their loss
What A Memorable Moment!!! So Happy For Pittsburgh! Even Happier For #Tone10.. Leading Up To This Game Tone Was So Focused, He Didn't let Anything Distract Him.. His Dedication To Pittsburgh Definitely Showed In This Super Bowl Game!!!!!
Fitzgerald is one of the most clutch players. I wish he had a better team around him throughout his career. The man deserves a ring.
greatest superbowl catch ever!
I hate to say it but no :(
KingLos it was one of the best but probably the best is the helmet catch
KingLos 1 foot was down ,the thing that sucks is the refs didn't get a decision really ,I don't care if there is no evidence it's the deciding play of the super bowl ,make it confirmed or reversed
PHX Master there's footage. Both feet were down
KingLos there is also footage where 1 foot is ,you see where this is going
One of the greatest super bowl endings.
prolly tha best super bowl I ever watched. that pass from Ben was crazy and that catch 🔥
Thank you Santonio. Greatest memory
time remaining? :43 never say never.
One of the best Superbowl games I've ever seen
illuminati confirmed
And the score added up at :43 was 20+23.... wow
Jay Bartgis who said never though?
And that's why the Cardinals choked.
They didn't play the full 4 Quarters.
best Superbowl in the past 10 years in my opinion.
God that made me emotional!!! LOVE MY STEELERS SO MUCH
Before that catch that Holmes literally said "time to be great" Jordan shrug🤷🏾♂️
Arguably, the greatest Super Bowl of all-time. It is, however, rivaled by Rams-Titans, Giants-Patriots (the first one), and even this year's Patriots-Seahawks.
I don't think giants patriots was that great it's just like the last 7 minutes and the fact the patriots were undefeated make it more than was as game imo
jrad410 Well, it's kind of like Super Bowl III (Jets-Colts): Great upset, but lousy game. Giants-Patriots (the first, of course) was most-definitely a better game than Jets-Colts, but was it a greater upset? You can argue that it was--and, all-and-all, I believe Giants-Patriots was a great-one, and that fourth-quarter stood-out the most. So, yes, in my opinion, it does deserve consideration for greatest Super Bowl ever. What's your choice, if you don't mind my asking?
Full disclosure I am a pats fan so a little biased but my favorite Super Bowl would probably Super Bowl 38 just because there was great defense for 2 quarters and then a lot of scoring in the other 2 making it feel like a real balanced game. Not to mention that halftime show
jrad410 I remember telling people in the days following Patriots-Panthers that it was one of the five greatest Super Bowls of all-time, and, looking back, I was right; however, I think it may have fallen from the top-five since then (early-2004), but it's still top-ten, and I'm not barking at you making it A-#1 on your list of Super Bowls. No offense, but you just have the same issue most other sports fans have, and that's putting bias aside. I feel like you need to do that when evaluating the history of the game(s).
I agree with u, it wasn't a game. It was a mistake filled game up till the 4th quarter. This game was much better I would also rank Superbowl 44 & 45 ahead of it.
One of my favorites súper Bowl's Great game!
I never been more entertained in my life until I saw that Amazing Game
I think this is the best catch ever. Super Bowl, last drive attempt, triple coverage, fully extended arms, toes are in by inches, the amount of skill it took to make this catch is truly incredible
This hurt me and I'm a Falcons fan, because you won't see a team like Arizona in the Super Bowl year in & year out. Somebody like me, I like to see franchises win when their not expected to.
+KLWeezy1 Is that why you're a falcons fan? took over 30 years for you guys to have back to back winning seasons
Do you still remember 28-3? YES! Patriots did comeback 34-28. I not want falcons championship
Im sure you were even sicker to experience 28-3 too
Everyone loves an underdog
The block in the back at 00:50 will haunt me forever
I'm a Giant fan but Holmes' catch with 36 seconds left on the clock is by-far the greatest of all-time!!!
One of the best superbows, and THE best catch of all time
This is the type of super bowl I like to watch. Down to the wire entertaining. (Unlike super bowl xlviii)
Last game called by the legendary John Madden. RIP Coach
Thank you Big Ben
"and the steelers become the first franchise to win 6 Super Bowls" steeler nation baby 2016 is out year. #51 #sixburgh
#StairwayTo7
Its going to be a while for 7 ya'll suck right now
+Darth Vader naw we are pretty good, we lost to the super bowl champs in the playoffs
We might have won against the Broncos if injuries didn't plague us.
Darth Vader we suck rn but we are in the top for left.. sucka. #herewego
man I love the Steelers anyone agree :)
Yep #steelernation #steelersstairwaytoseven 🏈
Nope cardinals
As a Steelers fan GG I was 2 year old at that time now I’m 13 time flys by
Santonio Holmes Was AMAZING !!!!!
Lookin for 7
Some football fans say "it wasn't a catch" steelers fans "it was a catch" lol
Dustin Hill im a pats fan but that was a catch
NotInfractioN no it wasnt
It was definitely a catch.
Good last minute play respect from a AZ Cardinal fan....
This is one of the best games I've seen even though I'm not a fan of either team. Best Super Bowl so far
I hope my cardinals win this year
Oh we will :)
+Orlie Gonzalez or not!See you next year lol
+Christian Sanders dude you're profile pics the Colts but but when referring the the cardinals you said "we." Bandwagon?
+SHEENCEENREE lol
Panthers
you all act like santonio was the reason they won the James Harrison pick 6 with 1 second before the half was insane!
Every score help
+Andre Igoudala Another overlooked thing was 47 for the Cards falling down on that huge gain from midfield before the touchdown. If he makes the tackle there, it may be a different story. But there are so many what ifs in football games that it really doesn't matter. One of the best super bowls I've ever seen (but 42 tops it).
LeBron should have won the MVP over you.
Rob Fitzgerald lol
L
An absolutely perfect pass and catch thrown into triple coverage...probably the clutchest pass/catch in Superbowl history.
This was just an incredible game.
The Penguins win a Stanley Cup, now we need the Steelers to win a Super Bowl.
+John Lennon no not ever year. But they did in 2009. I want to see that happen again.
in 1979 the Steelers won the Super Bowl, the Pirates won the World Seies and Pitt won the NCAA football championship....hence, the City of Champions....
Penguins knew they had to make up for all them L's meek mill was giving you guys
no more of this when gary johnson is president
I’m glad to be named after Santonio
Watching this breaks my damn heart man....Arizona Cardinals fan for life though. #UnderdogsAlways
Foot never touched
well its a touchdown so ...... it did
+Nicholas Tallent bro I literally am going to my grave saying this. His toe didn't touch. Was off the ground when he gained possession. I respect the call and it stands. But I can't wait for technology in 10-20 years, they would go back and look at this play from multiple angles. Cardinals fans will be super salty.
+Rob Jon you mean the technolgy they already had and used? Yeah their called cameras there was multiple cqmera angles that show both down taht aren't in tje video look it up
+Nicholas Tallent camera*
that*
the*
+Nicholas Tallent hey don't tell me to look it up. I've watched it thousands of times. And trust me. Technology changes fast over the years. They will use the footage, identify solids and colors and what makes contact. Kinda like a real life madden instant replay if u wanna think of that. If u don't believe me. Did u really think that there was gonna be iPhones in the 90s? Think what you wanna think. I have respect for you and respect for the call (which will always stand) So please don't throw insults my way. It just makes you look bad, people forget that this comment section is for positive discussion. It's not a war zone 😀
HIS RIGHT TOE NEVER GETS DOWN
I agree and this is why I will never rank this as one of the best Super Bowls. I'm not a fan or a hater of either team, btw.
I will never forget this :)! This is a catch that will never be recreated. Because of how it happened and when and where it happened!!!! Over 3 other defenders, in the corner of the end zone, in the Super Bowl :)!!!!!!!
damn i forgot how much this hurts lol. that interception and 100 yard return sealed the deal man, how stupid to not run it
That interception & the last touchdown stung us badly. But that's alright, we'll get the ring this time
+nick viet Lol we'll see ...
lol nope
Yea, didn't win. We'll try again. I hope the Broncos wins this weekend
nick viet Lol might be a close game
+Teen Bro (The Legend) Yea.
6 rings how many rings does your teams have??????
5(i go for niners) but ima give some respect for the steelers
0
4, pats fan
It's ok lions fan.
1 and that one was in the past 7 years
RIP Madden, this was his final game as a broadcaster. Go Pack Go!
My house was so loud that day that I thought there was an earthquake xD not really but that was seriously one of the greatest SBs ever
ha the patriots fan is mad because his team didn't win as much Superbowls as the Steelers XD
This comment didn’t age very well
@@dzsquid9355 your mom didnt age well
am i still the only one who thinks the right foot just barely missed the grass and that it was like rubbed up against his left cleat. I know i sound like a hater and im being ticky tack but imo i still to this day dont truly belive that secound foot touch iver never seen a clear image or video that shows something to tell me otherwise in every pic and video it looks to me that the right foot barely missed but because it was so close to the other cleat it looks like both of them hit the ground at the same time

+Ryan Geraghty Yes it did, moron.
good photo shop! Try this link www.upi.com/News_Photos/Sports/Super-Bowl-XLIII/fp/1475/ Can't disprove all these shots! Steelers suck!
this catch from Holmes made me like being a wide receiver and also my favorite player
One of the best Super Bowls ever Warner and fitzs vs Ben and santino one of the best
Game was BS! It wasn't a catch. Both feet were not in bounds when he caught the pass! Cards winners of SB 51! Go Cards!
Yeet
Both feet were definitely down you stupid? LoL keep crying child Arizona played a good game but lost fair and square. #Fact
Get a life! Evidence is out there. I didn't take the photo! You don't want to believe it. Game is over!
blubal42 Evidence of what? It being a catch? You literally have to be blind to argue that was a legit catch. keep crying
www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2016/02/01/arizona-cardinals-steelers-super-bowl-xliii-santonio-holmes-catch/79479602/ Games done, but nice to know they still had a chance if nor the Officials! Video above is not definitive! Check out the link? Nothings gonna change but it's there!
As a cardinal fan, I can honestly say that this has to be the best Super Bowl of all time!
That throw was the most beautiful throw I've ever seen
that catch is chilling🤯
I was rooting for the Cards in this game. It's too bad they lost, but I still have to say this is possibly the best Super Bowl I've seen in my lifetime (42 years). What a great game. Even if the result wasn't what I would have wanted.
