This is top 3 super bowls of all time. James Harrison top 3 defensive play of all time. And the play to win the game big Ben to Holmes is one of the greatest throws I've ever seen
@@scratchfg212 I'm going to put the ATL vs PATS . I truly thought that game was over. To come back down 24 in the middle of the 3rd quarter is crazy. I also remember watching the Giants and Ravens super bowl. I know it was one sided but my goodness that defense is something I've never seen again.
Larry Fitzgerald didn't make the playoffs often, but he sure did produce when he did. 57 catches for 942 yards and 10 TD's in only 9 career playoff games.
I was a student at Pitt at the exact same time as Larry and owned his jersey and everything (which of course didn't have his name on it or anything back then, it was just the older white/navy away jersey with a #1 on it) and if you follow the guy, you probably know he is such a humble, respectful, nice dude, and one of the greatest regrets of my life is I was too timid to ever ask him to sign it. The word around campus was that he was nice about it and even actively happy to do it, and I saw him in public a couple times, I just never went up to him. This was a rare Super Bowl I wouldn't have minded losing that much, as a Steelers fan, because I loved seeing him go from a great Pitt receiver right when I started caring about college ball to being second only to Jerry Rice in almost every all-time WR stat. Amazing receiver and a great person too.
Probably the greatest superbowl ever with two of the greatest plays ever... James Harrison's hundred yard pick six and the winning touchdown, Ben to Santonio Holmes.
This might be the most pure Super Bowl I ever witnessed. Legendary plays, legendary players, legendary broadcasting. Harrison's int return, Fitzgerald's entire second half, "ARIZONA HAS THE LEAD", Holmes's catch and immediate hugging of the ball when the TD is signaled...*chef's kiss*
2008 is when I was born and I was a lucky baby the Steelers are the best and I’ve always been a fan my whole life Here We Go I hope we can get here again soon. James Harrison 100 yard pick six Big Ben is a legend and Santonio Holmes game winning catch to win so clutch!
Not just that Pittsburgh sports, it's also the sports history, Lakers 2008/09 NBA champions and Yankees 2009 World Series champions, Galaxy MLS Cup 2009 final.
That's my team baby! We'll never put together another championship caliber group like this again. Should have at least one or two more rings and as many SB appearances! I blame Coach T.
best super bowl up to the time - and two best plays in history - kinda feel sorry for the Cardinals and especially Fitzgerald who would've been the MVP without the Ben-to-Holmes catch
I dont even like football much but im from Pittsburgh. Remember this being a huge moment in my childhood. People burning couches in the streets in celebration over this 😂
Here’s an odd statistic I’ve learned: as of mid-2/23 the last 3 sb’s where a team was trailing by 2 scores at the end of 3 and did indeed end up losing but by 1 score all had Kurt Warner in them (see historical box scores to confirm) - of course he was the winner in his 1st then lost his other 2, to the losing team: nice try but too little too late so no cigar
Man why against steelers going steal that first super bowl even 6 super bowl like come on not cardinals only nfc west dang gotta do something in future
Its so strange watching Ben Roethlisberger actually have athleticism when he was younger. When I think of Big Ben nowadays, I always just picture that old fat corpse stumbling around and falling over like we saw in his final few years lol
John Madden last broadcast was a great one! Rest In Peace legend !
Stop dicc riding

best sb of all time for sure
@@patricklopresti2631 nah
about the Cardinals quarterback, made a movie 😉
Which others are in that top 3? I would put this one as standing on its own…

The Steelers don't win that game without that pick 6, which is crazy. For how great that defense was, they got gashed quite a few times this game.
Gotta be one of the greatest superbowls of all time

Had to believe this was 15 years ago without a doubt one of the most exciting super bowls can’t deny that
Larry Fitz wins SB MVP if the Cards came out with the Win
Great 12 month stretch for Pittsburgh sports. 2008 Stanley Cup final, 2008/09 Super Bowl champions, and 2009 Stanley cup champions
Not just that Pittsburgh sports, it's also the sports history, Lakers 2008/09 NBA champions and Yankees 2009 World Series champions, Galaxy MLS Cup 2009 final.
They made a documentary about Kurt Warner and all I can ever think about is Big Ben shutting the lights off with that pass to Holmes.
Greatest SB since IX and XIII
THE FIRST FRANCHISE IN NFL HISTORY TO WIN 6 SUPER BOWLS!
Prime Big Ben with that scary defense to back him and all those offensive threats. These are the Steelers I miss
3:24 beast mode.
few people know, but the quarterback of the Cardinals was great and already won the Super Bowl with the Rams, a movie was made about him 😊
as a cardinals fan, this sucks. it was an incredible super bowl, but my team didn’t come out and win.
Ikr
it sucked
Even in the superbowl, the cardinals sucks

As a steelers fan we def should have won one more even when we had Bell, Ben and Brown i do blame Tomlin as well.
best super bowl up to the time - and two best plays in history - kinda feel sorry for the Cardinals and especially Fitzgerald who would've been the MVP without the Ben-to-Holmes catch
John Madden last SB commentary…
RIP John Madden
7:34 one of the best nfl moments ever
I dont even like football much but im from Pittsburgh. Remember this being a huge moment in my childhood. People burning couches in the streets in celebration over this 😂
I despise the Steelers but damn that last catch was spectacular and they deserved the win
This was Bill Cowher team that Tomlin took over.
Kurt Warner we remember
Now that I look back on this I’m realizing they know they was wrong for making Ike Taylor guard Larry Fitzgerald he was getting killed 😂💯

When football was great.
I remember being so mad that the other team won, even though I was not a Super Bowl fan.
I remember predicting the last few drives of this game lol
…fun fact: J. Harrison needed oxygen/tank after that pick 6😉👌🎯
he should've been penalized for delay of game running so slow
I wish the Cardinals would have one. They're the oldest team and they've never won a championship.
this year is the closest we’re gonna get i bet
sadly for us steelers fans it’s not looking like that way , last year was definitely the closest imo
