    RFK doesn't say "Don't vax kids" he says we need better testing for all these new vaxes.
    I.e. before the 1990s they had a rigorous testing procedure for vaxes but they changed the law making it a lot easier to approve them and now we too many that aren't well tested.

      Yea, but the more I know about big pharma the less I want children to have anything except maybe the tetanus shot. At least let the little tyke be big enough to understand what's going on, and stop these censorious bastards from funding unethical studies and then trying to claim only that is 'the science'

      Re your ".... many that aren't well tested."
      "Well tested"?
      "Well tested"??
      "Well tested"???
      Heck, no! We just gift-voucher them an "EMERGENCY USE ONLY with ZERO LIABILITY" authorization!
      Best fun is, I can understand "emergency use" as a one-off for the very first tranche of vax deployed. But the same carries on *automatically* for the following 2 years??!!! How's that "emergency use"?
      More seriously, why did they just shut down all voices of opposition? Not just the John Does but well-reputed men of medicine and science. Those voices were not just shut down but they were vilified and villainized (professional assassination) as well. That's not done in science, especially medical science.
      Especially striking was the glee with which most every respected institution bent the knee to Fauci and Tedros. Shameful! Anti-human.
      Remember how that Brazilian guy (Bolsonaro??) was vilified for going against the corvir current? Remember how the entire global medical community jumped on Dr. Anders (of Sweden) who took an opposing view? What a disgrace!
      No, "they" have a lot to answer for. "They" do have innocent blood on their hands.

    I’m a Democrat not ashamed to be voting for Trump. I previously voted for Harris in California and regretted it because of the horrible things she did without shame. She hasn’t said anything of substance since becoming the nominee. No thanks, I’ve seen first hand how dishonest and soulless she is. At least I know what I’m getting with Trump and we need a change. I can’t believe reproductive freedom ranks higher on a priority list than wars and the economy. Democrats party leadership has lost their minds. I’m not progressive enough for the current Democrat party. I am also not on board with what they are ok doing to kids.

None of the major studies showed "irreparable" harm in masking adults nor children. Tell that to the thousands of doctors who have used it in their Covid treatment protocols and have had almost 100% survival rates. Some doctors lost their jobs for having this success. How many Covid patients did these two treat? Zero! While working with Covid patients in ICU Dr Marik had a much greater survival rate than his colleagues. The hospital said he could no longer use his treatments. He watched patients die because he was not allowed to treat them properly. That is why he had to leave that job. Most trials are to determine toxicity not actual “effectiveness”
      Ivermectin has been used for many years and the toxicity (what dose & how often) is established.

    Regarding your convo about your social media audience:
    I followed ZDogg way before Covid when I saw his video on that quack Wakefield's Vaxxed documentary. I was ungodly hard on misinformation at the time, I hate the organic food misinformation kabal, hated Alex Jones conspiracy theorists, the Gwenneth Paltrow and Joe Rogan's appeal to natures of the world. I (incorrectly) supported nuking their social media presence at the time because "it was so obvious misinformation." I thought Covid would be my time to shine because I actually knew how to "follow the science" so imagine my horror when I saw MedTwitter and the media pull the shit they pulled. Ironically Rogan and you two helped keep me sane during covid because it was so obvious people were lying their assess off and nobody was calling it out but you three. Now I hate medtwitter and legacy media more than anything. The main people I follow are people who try to get to the actual truth no matter where it lies, like Ana Kasparian, who seems to have gone on a similar journey.

    Vinay, I have heard you comment derogatorily on supplements a few times before ( I don't mean as it pertains to covid, or for those who take supplements temporarily once they are already sick). A few years ago, my doctor did some blood tests on me (never mind the reasons for the tests for now) and the tests indicated that I was low in vitamin D, zinc and magnesium. I started taking all 3 of those supplements and my levels went up for all 3.
    Are you saying that even though my levels went up, there is no evidence that it makes any difference to my health? If there is currently insufficient evidence of supplements making any difference to our health, does that mean it isn't helping us be healthier? Are more studies needed or is there enough studies now to prove that all supplementation is useless despite blood tests showing a rise in deficient levels of whatever supplement a person is taking?
    Please clarify so that many of us are more informed and perhaps we can stop wasting our money. Finally, what do you recommend as alternatives for those of us who tested low on something and are told by a doctor to (or just decide for ourselves to) take supplements? I apologize for being so long winded and I hope my questions are clear. Thank you very much for all the great content! Respectfully, Rick B. (Edited & Re-posted)

    • @springtexan8244
      @springtexan8244 21 день назад +3

      Yes that is what he's saying and why do you need an alternative just cuz you tested a bit low on something? I doubt they have time to answer but your question is well worded and well thought out.

    • @pmberkeley
      @pmberkeley 21 день назад +5

      The reason why Vinay is down on supplements is because research shows no or poor outcomes with them. But the research shows that appropriate diet (and water and behavior) that boosts deficiencies does work where supplements do not.
      For example, fertility rates in women over 40 were raised by eating a diet high in folate (naturally occurring) whereas there was no improvement from the consumption of folic acid supplements.
      The depth to which Vinay is exploring and commenting on this issue is that he knows the studies on supplements come up empty. He isn't exploring it any deeper than that, when it comes to diet vs supplementation.

    • @8aNda1d
      @8aNda1d 21 день назад +4

      @pmberkeley but addressing OP's comment about taking vitamins if you have a deficiency is totally different than taking a vitamin, like B12 or a mineral like potassium it is ESSENTIAL that these levels stay within normal limits. As I am sure the Dr would agree.

I enjoy Dr. Vinay Prasad's knowledge and opinions. He's a great researcher. I don't think doctors that practice cookbook medicine based almost entirely on studies and protocols make good practitioners. Always get a second or even third opinion. Good docs are hard to find. I can see why the other guy doesn't practice medicine anymore.

    My favorite misconception about the current day Republican party is that it's still largely made up of the old antiquated religious socialists that it was in the 80's. The current party is largely made up of the online atheist crowd of the early 2000's who were hardline democrats in their beliefs. The mass switch happened in the mid and early 20teens, when the Left started advocating for censorship and more dictatorial edicts. And a very large belief in the early 2000's among the online atheist crowd was that we should be free to say and believe what we want. Once the party we originally aligned with switched, we felt betrayed and as a form of protest, switched sides. The ironic part is that there were enough of us that came from so many different backgrounds that made the switch that we inadvertently shifted the balance in the Republican party. We essentially set it up so that in the next 10/20 years we will probably end up the majority with our mixture of liberal and conservative view points, and our willingness to accept everybody and anybody who feels disenfranchised will draw in people who would have been more liberal in recent history.

    Y’all are missing something. Let’s say that ivermectin probably doesn’t work, but there’s a 10% chance that it does. And the downsides are practically none. Like taking an aspirin when you don’t need it. AND even if technically, there is no solid mechanism of action for the drug to work on its own, they’re still remains the possibility of utilizing the placebo effect to get better.
    A certain subset of the population will then determine that they would rather take extra stuff that may or may not work, because the risk profile is low enough. And to that subset of the population the absolute antagonism towards Ivermectin appears suspicious. Maybe vitamin C won’t help me, but why should you tell me not to try it? I think a better response would be an accurate analysis of the ivermectin studies, but then also an accurate assessment of the risk profile, and then not judging those people who would prefer to try everything. Especially when trust is so low in the establishment and you have a large group of doctors who do believe that it works (even if they’re wrong).

I would greatly appreciate it. Something is going on with me since my last child and only thing tests show is I'm deficient in some areas. I know you can't get medical advice, it's not what I'm looking for. I don’t get how they say ivermectin does not work, studies are flawed and they offer no substantial reason as to why. Maybe they have in the past but I missed that. There were good reason why powerful companies wanted ivermectin to fail therefore, I feel the studies would be definitely be bias toward does not work outcome. My understanding of how ivermectin works is that it needs to be used early on. So when study uses it on people that are near death that is a problem.
