    This really helped! I did have to enable everything in CSM to UEFI only but that was the only difference.

    I have a question. I bought an SSD NVME 2.0 and installed my Windows 10 for some reason it Formated to MBR. Now I realize that I have to convert the m.2 to GPT or windows 11 won't even work.
    Can I do it this way or do i have to do it another way? Since I have my current M.2 with windows on it.
    Can I do this form the Ssd where i have my current windows install?
    Great video.
    It validates Disk 0 but i Need to validate disk 1 since my NVME is disk 1 and its the one that holds Windows on it

    I think I tried this and and luckily enough I have a spare laptop to make a Redux bootable flash drive to load Windows 11 again, but while doing so my laptop reverted to Windows 10? The company I bought this refurbished laptop from, say's my warranty doesn't cover me going into the BIOS and changing settings! And they want to pay them to fix it! No, not going to happen! Currently my Windows update doesn't work! And I need a new install of Windows which I've done before on this laptop, but since someone added malware that is removed now, I can't start a new install. I'm not prepared to reinstall all the programs again as I have too many and it will take ages, but I seen UEFI firmware setting in the BIOS, also can't turn on secure boot? So will this work or will I be left without an OS again?

    Will I Lose My Data?

    • @asatechnical
      @asatechnical  2 месяца назад

      If this is done properly, then there is no chance of data loss.
      But before performing it, you need to know if your computer's motherboard supports UEFI, which is highly recommended.
      And If your motherboard doesn't support UEFI then I will suggest you not to do it.

      There is no possibility of data loss if it is executed properly, but I would recommend you to take a backup for your assistance.

      Definately your all data will loss, It formats your harddrive and delete your partitioms as well so don't do this before any backup of your data.
