This video shows you how to install a new AC compressor & component kit from TRQ on your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (5.3L V8). The AC compressor circulates refrigerant under pressure throughout your car or truck's air conditioning system. Through age or faults in other components, the compressor can burn out and stop working.
PLEASE NOTE: Before attempting this repair, have your AC system's refrigerant properly removed by a qualified technician.
This repair was done on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
