I miss watching these guys every Saturday morning with my big bowl of cereal.
Yes, it definitely made the morning!!!!
This was the proper way to spend my Thursday night.
Man this video was so worth the full watch you cant find this in-depth quality anywhere else.
its great because most of the info can be applied to 99- 07 chevys as well.
Yall nailed the presentation and made me learn more to apply to my project.
Guess you work for the channel 😂

2 Hour Video on a Build, now this is what I'm talking about!
Just started my channel where I take trucks to the mountains and bag on em. Hoping to make some folks laugh.

@@bushtruck Jesus loves you everyone and he is waiting for you to turn to him. Jesus has taken me, a broken and depressed sinner and has transformed my life for the better. Although I am a believer I still fail under temptations sometimes but I do not want you all to make the same mistake if you take this path. Jesus gives the opportunity for all of us to be saved through faith by grace. If you confess out loud that Jesus is your Lord and your Savior you can be saved. It is very important to repent of your sins and say your sorry to God and Jesus for all of the sins that you have committed. It is also very important that you ask for forgiveness and obey God and Jesus. Also it is extremely important to be baptized. I highly suggest you read John 3:5-7 and I also highly recommend reading Mark 16:16. I am just trying to spread God's word. All love. 👋

I just love that even though it's got rust and high clicks, everything still comes apart without issues... Oversized bolts and nuts are the solution to everything, too bad they don't build em like this anymore.
Now they have oversized bodies
They do. Bolts still have to have a safety standard. Also they use better coatings these days and the fasteners are more resistant to rust.
I know this is an older comment, but.. you are right. I had a lot of rust in places on mine, but no issues removing them.
Dad had a 93 Silverado w/ a 383 Stroker growing up. All black Choo-Choo Customs truck, I loved that thing. He sold it when he got sick, thing was a beast. Traction bars, tinted windows, body kit, Heartbeat of America on the tailgate. I'll never forget it!
Finally a full build on RUclips. Not all of us can afford the b.s. to watch else where... Much appreciated...
I sat through the entire 2 hours. Please do more. I'll will watch everyone of them.

Get a life dude
I’m 56 years old and retired watching and listening to you working on Drum Brakes on the Chevy brought back many memories of working on many of my old cars and trucks over the. Years more specifically a Camaro I had for many years that looked almost identical to the ones on the truck you used in the demonstration despite being many years different ! The majority of my cars and trucks over the years have been General Motors although I will admit that in recent years I do utilize Professional Mechanics who own and operate a local shop
"Budget Build" with a 6k crate motor
Just follow it and instead of a swap do a rebuild. Done.
Budget doesn't me cheap it means more of a guide line
I was thinking the same thing.but it's nice to rebuild it that good .I put a shift kit in my 1978 camaro turbo 350 3 speed it was sweet when I pressed the pedal to the floor it would shift hard but half way or less normal put 60s on the back air shocks and heavy leafs springs and it was very nice.it only had a 305 but still fun to drive 135.speedomometer.it would have been nice with a 400 small block.put a duel exhaust on made it sound tuff.
Didn't know they said this was a budget build.
@@HoUsEoFcAtS78 when I watched it, it did. Possibly in the beginning of the video still.
PURO TROKIANDO CUHHHH. Damn i really just watched the whole thing but it was really good!

I'm so glad they edited these all together and put them up here. I've been watching these shows since I was a kid.
I love this. Only thing I question is "low buck". I guess everyone's definition of "low" is different.
Really low buck when everything is given to you for advertising their products.
@@theonly9 you can't get it free? Poor thing!
You can get cheaper. Don't wear the truck out or buy one that is no worn out. It all depends on what you want it to do and how long it last. If you can't afford to get it like this one then don't start on it.
700 for paint. But that's at cost for only paint. 😄 hopefully you got a paint booth.
It is a lowbuck restoration technically since they didn't completely strip the truck down to the frame
Love how the whole series is put into a complete all in one video! I wish power nation would do this more. Kinda stinks when you watch a video you get really interested into then you don’t see the next video for 3-4 months or never.
2 hour and 16 minute episode? Impossible to pull off on TV, lovin YT love these shows

Being able to watch a full build like this is awesome!
im 14, i love trucks, i want to be a mechanic, i know all the basic problem fixes, this video is very helpful and very easy to help me learn, thank you so much!!!!
You stick to it dude follow your dreams I've been in love with vehicles since I was 3 so stick to it
Loving cars and being a mechanic do not entirely go hand in hand for a couple of reasons. You will spend most of your day fixing boring stuff, working on vehicles that shouldn’t really be on the road and never upgrading anything and working on vehicles you wouldn’t be caught dead in and constantly be in a rush to finish them because either you get paid by the job or the owner is always worried about money (and time is money). And it will be hard to find the motivation to work on your own stuff after 10 hours of working on other people’s junk. You will have to deal with burn out.
I’ve been working on cars since I was 8 and have been doing it for a living for 12 years at both dealerships and independent shops. I have a couple of toys (98 Jeep wrangler, 93 Z28, 14 Harley-Davidson Iron 883, and 73 AMX) and only the bike is stock (for now).
I’m not knocking the idea but just be aware of the reality of working for a living.
@@CamaroAmx Agreed. Hobbies/passions and work sometimes kill one another.
I’ve always liked Kevin. good video. Man I miss powernation days. Super happy these are online now.

It's only because of quarantine that you watch the whole thing
What I like about this is they show the whole series all in one. You don't have to wait for days or weeks and hoping you didn't miss a episode. Great work guys!!!!
I love this supercut! Two hours of wrenching?? Yes please and thank you! Send more :)
I own one of these trucks that needs the same work, I watched all 2 hours in one sitting. Excellent work, Love the truck.
Idk anything about cars but this was satisfying to watch 🤣

Now that, is what I call a transformation 👏....as far as light work. Great episode and we viewers NEED more like this!! Thanks so much 🙏
Damn this brought back some memories. I remember watching shows like this on the weekends with my dad when I was growing up. I didn’t really understand or care about all the little details that they go into for each part and process of the build, I just liked seeing the progression. And the final product, of course.
We watched to see the final product dad watched to gain knowledge to pass onto us when we started having to do these things ourselves....
I would do the same thing. Every Sat morning it was like going to church in my house lol
Thanks you two for this episode. You have broken it down into a great flow. I've learned a little in the process. It's still an expensive hobby. Lol.
@One In The Chamber or ls swap it.
The comment made by the host on putting a lift kit on a 2wd reminded me of my friends monster 2wd 98 Silverado that he always gets stuck when off-roading with us 😆🤣😂 a
Now this is the best thing you guys have ever done. Please make more 2 hour videos.
Thanks for putting this whole build together in one clip! Can't say how many I tried watching before, only to get 1/2 way through and never to finish because it wasn't available. Much appreciated!!!
man i love this show, i used to watch ya on cable, thank god ya got on youtube
Such a perfect video. I've got a 90 stepside project and this covers everything I need. So happy I stumbled upon this.
How’s the project goin man pretty interested on it
Sweet me too! I’ve got an ext cab really wish it was the single, how’s the ruck coming?
It's coming along good, built 355, 700r4 Trans with stage 2 shift kit. Just did the suspension (stock ride height) and gave her a face-lift (new grill, lights, hood, bumpers)
It's all tuned and rips so I'm gonna keep it on standby for the winter. I've had the truck for 15 years, so before I started all this work it was already in good shape.
Next will be steering and everything brakes, and while I'm at it replace all the bushings and clean everything up.
Finally a good video for the boring Quarantine
If you drill a few holes in the bottom of the rocker and the cab corner it won't hold water anymore
I have learned so much in just the first 10 minutes. After my dad passed last year, I got his 95 K1500 Z71 and am in the middle of fixing it up.
27K+👍's up guys thanks again for taking us all along with you for the great show

Beautiful work, excellent production. Thank you gentlemen!
I just don't sleep watching this video for two hours and taking valuable notes to help me to fix my 94 Chevy 2500. The video is very illustrative and very well done. Yes, is not step by step reconditioner video but provides pretty much a very good idea for those with experience in bodywork and mechanics fields.
Thanks!
My 95 OBS has 430,000mi. These trucks were made to last
Rusty Nutz minus the rust, i 100% agree. that stupid glue they used in the late 90s early 2000s for body panels were the only down fall of these trucks!
My 96 has 390,000 :) keep it going
And the driver side door that loves to sag .

@@theelder91 I had over 300K on my 92 S10 when I gave it to my ex-girlfriend. I saw it on the road 2 years later. My brother-n-law has a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab 1ton, 454 that he bought new that has about 450K and is a daily driver with original engine. Its had 2 new fuel pumps and some minor issues but it looks great, NO rust but he washes it weekly and is almost OCD about it, lol. A SBC, 2.8V6, or BBC will last forever if maintained.
Nothing more satisfying than seeing a tired worn out truck get a full refresh.
