Dude I couldve told you that. In a way it's kind of common sense..if you remove all the stock intercooler ducting..u obviously have to replace it. I added a larger CF hood scoop which required me to not only remove all of the factory ducting under the hood, but I also had to cut into it. I chose a TMIC that not everyone uses, but I knew that If u have a tmic that doesnt come wit new shroud..you have to fabricate proper ducting to channel air to the tmic. My CVt wrx 2017 was able to perform pull after pull bc of a better/bigger tmic. My cvt made 300whp/280 tq..but just like your tuner was "dialing it back" they also did the same wit mine. The engine limits are set b4 they evn begin tuning, I had my own view of my tuners monitor, so I could see everything he was doing on his laptop. So wit- tmic/charge pipe, CAI, catted Jpipe, 3-port ebcs, cc, I'm making 300whp/280tq..this is w/o Flex fuel..w/o a full turbo-back, w/o tgv/egr deletes,...done by Nate at TPG tuning on their dyno.

@@Revkai that’s good yeah most people rather do manual but I been pretty happy with my cvt I know the cvt can’t do a lot off hp like a manual but what I have I am happy with it
@@rafaelmendez3314 345 is a perfect power level for a daily in my opinion as well, although I only heard before that the cvt can only push about 320 wheel so I’m impressed
Dude, what if you replace the tmic..an the problem still isnt resolved? I'm curious to see, bc if it does so happen to be your intercooler, then I'm really going to know, and everybody is going to know how crucial it is to have a quality top mount intercooler and to also make sure you have the proper ducting to channel the most amount of air possible
i had the same problem with oem intercooler, we managed to get to 254whp and 282tq, tomorrow i install my new mishimoto intercooler

How long have u been running that much power?

Not true you can Dyno tune any CVT
What kind of CVT did you put in it? I own a WRX 2015 CVT and I want to mod it and make it reliable but still get some power
I’m going next gen stage 2 Cobb kit, with a Cated j pipe, cat back, aos, cvt cooler and bypass valve I also just got a used cvt 2015

Idk why. We Basically have same mods. My numbers are 244 whp and 300 torque
The reason is because of my intercooler. It’s not properly design for the car.
