I sat in one of these it’s really nice, but in true general motors fashion, there are always things that disappoint you on the inside at this price point. the grab handles sort of twist a little bit unlike in the ram.and the upper glove box, unlike the ram makes a cheap clanking plastic noise when it opens and shuts. The steering wheel needs to be updated, but all of that sort of stuff instead goes to the UAW’s retirement fund.
Ya I have one my first time now, I really like the moonroof. Makes the cabin just really bright and pleasant. I might like it less when it leaks or rattles in the future but for now it’s a nice feature. Also my kids like looking out of it
I traded in my 19 LTZ Z71 6.2L CC for a 23 High Country 6.2 with a black package. Great video, thank you. I really like this truck but i hear some people complaining about the seat comfort, how is it really? Anybody with experience please let me know if the seats are uncomfortable, thank you.
I would rather have fixed step running boards. They keep a lot of sand, rocks, and slush off the body. Chevrolet should offer a factory wheel arch moldings like GMC. The truck looks awesome
I understand how much technology is in this truck, I get it. Just 20 years ago it wasn't possible to spend more than 35K on a half ton pickup unless you wanted to be on the cover of Truckin magazine 😁
I bought a 2001 Silverado in 2002 that had a $35000 stacker on it when it was new, i paid 25K. I was not on a magazine. still have the truck. no issues other than rust and age, super good powertrain. 3.73 axle pulled 7000 through mountains a few times. 5.3v8...edit: sticker not stacker.

Hey Ben, does the LTZ package still exist? I worked for a Chevy dealer in the early 2000s in the detail department anyways before high country and all the big expensive packages came out in the LTZ was the big bad boy so I was curious if that was even still a thing or if the other packages have taken over?
Sunroof just adds weight, complexity, possible leaks and about $1500. My 2011 Lariat had a sunroof that I opened once. In Texas and Oklahoma it's either too hot, too cold, too windy, too dusty, raining or snowing.

$77K for a truck...A TRUCK!!!! And slooooowly but surely people are thinking because it has all these "options" it's a good value. No I do not think it's a "good value"!!!!!
A review on a different channel said that there is a noticeable improvement with the GMC sierra with the magna ride or whatever they call it something that’s not available on the Chevy
@@Ryan2022 Its an option for the High country not standard like on the Denali, but you can get the Active ride control on the high country and theyre the same
I've driven these trucks and even with the magnetic ride control, they cannot hold a candle to the 2019+ Ram 1500 Limited! The Ram handles bumps and soaks up the highway miles way better than either Ford or GM trucks. You'll be hard-pressed to find a luxury vehicle (e.g., BMW, Mercedes) that has a more luxurious ride, super comfortable seats, and serene cabin as the Ram 1500 Limited. Every GM truck I've ever owned, including the Sierra Denali, has seats that are too firm. In the Ram, you actually sink into the seats for ultimate comfort, versus the feeling of sitting "on" the seats of the GM trucks. And my Ram with the 5.7 Hemi and the 3.92 rear axle feels way more peppy than the GM 6.2 with it's weak 3.23 rear axle. Ram is also ~$10,000.00 less expensive to purchase than an equally equipped GM or Ford and I find the build quality much better on the Ram as well. I've had my Ram 1500 for 5 years now and there is not a single creak, squeak, or rattle in the interior. All of my Ford and GM trucks started making all kinds of interior noises at around 10K miles.
Chevy just redesigned the interior and its still not even close to the Rams (from 2019)... another missed opportunity for GM...I like that big engine though!
