Sort of OK, but missing so many details that made the original mind blowing. Instead of Georgy Girl it sounds like "Big Production Rock and Roll Theatre Georgy Girl" so people will stand for an ovation at the end of the performance. Rather listen to the original with the scratches and pops. Just saying...
Not convinced really. No way near as good as the originals, but still it’s lovely that people appreciate the Seekers’ story and especially when the original four walked out in stage... wow! I wish I could have seen that! ❤️
I love The Seekers, and I just want to mention Lynn Redgrave who is no longer with us, and she was in the movie "Georgy Girl". May Lynn RIP.
She was the young star of the film playing Georgy Girl.

I LOVE THIS SONG. IT INSPIRED ME TO MAKE A VIDEO WITH MY HARMONICA. I JUST PLAY BY EAR. HAVE A LISTEN AND TELL ME IF YOU LIKE IT.
Then the new version has a modulation where they encrease of one tone the key of the song that sound so silly and kill the overall mood
