- The shortest professional game in League of Legends history is a story of a charming outlaw, unrequited love, a heartfelt memorial and the bitter fury of a game developer scorned.
Jeon “Apdo” Sang-gil was once revered as one of the best League of Legends players in the world. He conquered solo queue, taking the top spot on the ladder in both Korea and China at the same time, playing four positions the whole time. But Apdo wasn't trying to sign with a pro team, he was Elo boosting.

Apdo made a new account like about a month ago. The id is Trud, level 44(?)and reached challenger from unranked. Also, Dopa's 4 accounts reached rank 1~4 at the same time. He says everyone in solo q is under than me . The only player that he thinks good is Faker and Deft(said in 2015)

He played leesin(1v1) against KT Fly(while he was a progamer) and he beat him. Also he beat 1v1 with ezreal( Diamond )without using q skill. Lastly he also beat Diamond with orianna without using q skills. He just saying master is also trash and he wanted to prove that basic skills are more important than using skills

Fearzzy champ pool wise? He can play practically every midlaner, if he doesn't do so is just because he strictly follows the meta, and only plays the same 2-3 broken picks of the season. He always says that for climbing, champion > skills. Knowledge wise and mechanically he's on top of the world, because he only plays SoloQ, he can only rely on himself(not even Duo), and he completly shits on other high ranked Challengers making them look like silvers.
And if you saw the video, the guy said himself that he can play practically every single role at absolute perfection. He only prefers midlane because is the easiest lane from which you can carry.
i don't think you understand what makes apdo great, its his game knowledge and brain, NOT his mechanics, cus his mechanics are nothing special for korean challenger and never were. and no, he can't play alot of champions, he plays 2-3 champions every time he goes for rank 1's simply because playing more than that isnt efficient for climbing. and absolutely no, he cant play other roles to perfection, he used to be really good at all roles back in season 3-4 but thats a long time ago, he doesnt even play anything but mid anymore. He always mained mid, even when mid was bad for carrying, he doesnt prefer it because its easiest to carry from, he just prefers it
Fearzzy he is still a great player for understanding how to climb soloQ. And his mid lane is perfection, because he knows and understand everything about mid lane, just like Faker. Sure, every Korean challenger knows all there is to their lane, and knows all the mechanics, but imagine you are one of them, and people say that you are not a great player, that you are nothing special, wouldn't you get mad? The cool thing is, he is probably the first player to achieve these knowledge and mechanics, of course everybody has time to catch up, being the first to reach the top of the mountain means you are famous you know.

He will never go pro, sadly they did not talk about this in the video but Apdo himself said that his skill is limited to soloq, he has not the best skill but he is good at mindgames. He states that his tactics to win would not work in professional play and that he would get outmatched by a lot of players. Also he has some issues playing if he is not sitting in his chair and has to use a different mouse. He is simply made for soloq. It might have been a different story if he went pro before he got banned but now it is over and it will never happen.
Why would KZ replace BDD? BDD is one of the best mids in KR rn along with kuro, faker and ucal. And apdo has a serious case of OCD which he himself said so that he does not play well if he don't have his preferred set-up.

I hope you guys do another video about Apdo that tells his story with better context. Trying to tell it through the lens of the shortest professional game doesn't really do it justice. I mean he didn't even play in that game. But the things he has done on his own in the world's most competitive solo-q ladders are ridiculous and probably do deserve being highlighted in your series. The best way to understand what makes Apdo special is through the eyes of pro players that play against him in solo que. There's some great quotes out there in videos from Thorin and LS. When players like imp and flame in their primes are scared of you, it deserves a mention. I usually love these segments but I was disappointed by this one.

But in last 2-3 years, its has so happened that even if you play games 2 elo level higher than current form, you can not carry a team with one troll at all. But anyways, doesnt matter what I say. Rito still does what they deem fit. Even if it means challenging them to audit last 15 ranked games of person reporting and person reported.

Not even close to the truth... many of pro players and streamers have broken the rules of league even streaming it: use of acc of other player/ playing on "e-bay" acc/ getting fun on low elo acc/ trolling games and so on... not like they get banned 99% cases...

League of legend is growing into a professional esports and I think it makes complete sense to ban apdo. There is no argument he is the best solo queue player in the world, but elo boosting is not a glory thing and it bring permanent damage and deterioration to the game integrity.
Tbh, I feel shame for him, especially for that troll game. What a waste of talent. He could be the greatest esports player of all time, but now he’s just a solo queue player with bunch of money. Also, his talent is not truly tested, to compete at the highest level, it’s not only about skills, it is also about teamwork, mentality, consistency and class. He has skills, but really sad he cannot prove himself for the rest.
I agree, lots of man love for him here in comments but I see him more of a spoilt brat. He could've achieved sporting greatness the likes of Jordan, Federer, Woods, Faker, Gretzky. All who played the system to their advantage and etched their names in history. Instead his fanboys will only remember him as an unproven on the international stage rebel.
