The chin strap detail was huge! I was cupping the chin sort of in the middle of my hand which would make it harder to actually get the grip before they started fighting the grip. Funny how little details like that slip by but are such a huge difference.
Yes the chin strap is a good way to hold your opponent while you set up the choke but I am unclear on whether the choke is finished with the chinstrap or he adjusts his grip just prior to choking.
So did you finish the guillotine with the chinstrap grip or did you adjust or slide your hand under his chin for the choke? This video was unclear on the exact grip under the chin at the time of the choke. Consider a video showing the choking grip in greater detail. Thanks
