Is Google authenticator app. bypassing the problem with SIM hacking? What do you mean by deleting old codes and how? I did highlight it and garbage it
I don't use a computer. Can the authenticator be used from cell phone. I can't scan a QR code when I'm on that phone.

Try aligning the green box with the QR. Or you can use manual input.

with your other apps ? go to the settings of each apps and select 2FA option, If your apps have this option, the app itself will guide you through the setup process.

Unless you have a backup of your old phone that you can restore to your new phone, unfortunately I don’t think you can recover your codes.

soo...if your trying to recover your hacked acc like fb there's no way you can use it even if you already changed the pass to that account.. you'll stock in authentication screen if you don't have access it before???

Useless. The things you are pointing out on your phone are no longer in the Authenticator app. Can't transfer data from my old ph to my new. Very frustrating.
I have google account login credentials, I lost all data to my android phone, after I login to google account, and go to Security, it indicates 2FA Turned Off.... how can I recover 2FA codes to websites ?
Unfortunately, if you’ve lost access to your original Google Authenticator app, I’m not sure you can recover your codes. I could be wrong about that but, for me, this is a massive flaw in Google’s app.

Problem solved with unauthorised access from Unknown Devices .
What normal person without a computer education will be able to understand this??? This is a real horror, it's just impossible!

Since releasing this video I think Google have added a cloud backup feature for exactly that reason. Why they didn't add it in the first place was crazy.
