      I'm subscribed to both, but Tom gets deeper into the subtleties and details than Coach Anthony. This is not to say that one is better than the other, just that their approaches and delivery are different. And by "different," I mean that in the most complimentary of ways.
      For his teaching style, I prefer Tom's meticulous attention to detail. For my kids, they tend to prefer Coach Anthony's approach. Regardless, they're both learning good, solid, fundamentals - and a lot of slick moves to keep things interesting and fun along the way.

      @@WorldClassBoxingChannel how many rounds should i hit the heavy bag

    • @WorldClassBoxingChannel
      @WorldClassBoxingChannel  5 лет назад +13

      @@ronaldson57 That's a very general question. How much do you think you need to hit the bag? Heavy bag is a skill and if you aren't very good at hitting it, then you need more rounds. If you are using it for conditioning, and you are out of shape, you need to work it more often. Typically, if you spend 3 or 4 rounds on the bag along with all of your other training tools per workout, you should be making progress! Shadowboxing is one of the best for conditioning and realistic training.

    • @WorldClassBoxingChannel
      @WorldClassBoxingChannel  5 лет назад

      That is correct. Good analysis. Stepping further allows for more load and power, but takes much more time and takes you away from the target. This move has to be smooth and quick!

    • @WorldClassBoxingChannel
      @WorldClassBoxingChannel  6 лет назад +2

      Great question. As you know, every move can be countered and every move made should anticipate that counter.. Inside fighting requires the chin to be tucked and hands tight for protection and the fighter must demonstrate perpetual motion as to not stay in one place too long to minimize being exposed. There is always that risk of getting hit as that is one guarantee in boxing! Thanks again. Great comment.
