For me 7.0.614134 release is working, but the problem is it's working for the first time ,if we disconnect once the AA MIRROR PLUS app not showing on cars display , again need to repeat the entire process , then its working fine . Would you mind telling me what android version is currently running on your phone along with the phone model? Oh and btw the issue you are facing right now is common. Everyone else is facing the same issue too. It works just once. Reinstalling fixes it. For now that's the workaround. I'm working on a permanent solution but it's taking a lot of time. I'll upload a video on it as soon as I find a solution.

Only problem I have is..my car stream app on Lenovo android car player is not working..it keeps saying no messages while this drive.
Unfortunatly, this same issue is occuring on every device ever since android 14 was received on all phones. And now even android auto latest software updates are causing this issue. unfortunatly, ever since android 14 on our phones, none of the apps work. I've been using and recommending external devices that work perfectly keeping the phones idle at all times. You can checkout my latest videos for that.

I followed your instructions, and it worked. thank you. But the other day, aa mirror got disappeared. Then I uninstalled aa reinstalled it again. it worked again.....Then the next day, same situation again.
You are most welcome! That's a glitch going on these days. Everytime we disconnect the cable, we have to repeat the process to get it working again. Until we get a permanent fix we'll have to do this repeatedly. Can't help it unfortunately.

This is a very old video which no longer works for most people. Please refer one of the latest videos.
My parking garage is underground and I get no network down there, does the app need network to work because I still don't see the aamirror plus app.
Nope, the app doesn't require network to connect. Just a cable in order to mirror your phone. However, once you connect the phone you might need a good internet connection in order to play youtube, which is understandable. Coming to the point where you are not able to get it working, which version did you install. Please refer the pinned comment where I have mentioned the latest version that works. The version that I displayed in the video stopped working the very next day. So I mentioned the working one in the pinned comments. All the steps remain the same.

Please try this and let me know. I should work. Do remember it works just once. Every time you disconnect the cable, you would have to redo the entire steps. This is a flaw as of now. I'm working on a permanent fix.

Unfortunately, this method no longer works in any of the latest phones which is why you are facing this issue. Good question! Unfortunately, nobody knows the answer to that question. I assume they are getting rid of the app altogether either to bring in a new app altogether or to be complaint towards the ban of it in different countries.

I've tried all the steps. Following each carefully. Downloaded the new version you specified of android auto and once download is complete it won't let me open it. It only gives me the option to update when trying to open. Then I force closed and disabled the factory version to try and install this version and got another pop up saying can't download this version as it might interfere with current version. Please help

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I had uploaded a video shortly after this one showing how to use iphone to watch youtube in car screen. However, not even a day after the upload the method stopped working. So I deleted the video since it was then null and void. So I think the only method as of now is to buy some external device to connect to the iphone and then make it work. I would suggest buy an android phone instead though. Choice is yours. Take care!

I downloaded the android auto app to the 6.9.6 version you directed to. Although when I plug my phone into the usb to the car is asks me to update the android auto instead of letting me connect.

Yup. This is one of the known issues. No worries. Redo the steps and it'll work again. It kinda works just 1 time🤷🏻♂️. Glitch with the app at the moment.

Ok so I just got back from checking the issue in my car. And yes, it seems that Android Auto has completely stopped supporting AA Mirror Plus. I checked thoroughly with several different versions and none of them work. Most of them are being asked to update the app which was not the case till yesterday!

Wireless/wired android auto is a car feature which isn't linked to the android auto version. You'll have to refer the user manual for it.

Mine using one+ android version 12 but failed to use the mirror. Keep telling showing "no new message during this drive". Same goes to carstream. Please help 🙏🏻 and the other problem is the head unit is forcing to update latest android auto when reconnect the cable.

hi. this is a known issue. once you uninstall the updates and install the version mentioned in the description, it works at that time. After that if you try to reconnect it mostly stops working. Then you have to repeat the entire process to make it work again. The version mentioned in the description works 100% as I have checked multiple times. It's just that this glitch is causing a lot of problems for everyone including me. I think the reason is that they are removing this app altogether maybe to replace it with some other app.

One problem. The car nub does not allow me to increase or decrease the volume when i play video on youtube. When i turn the nub it says volume paused and it does not increase or decrease. It only play on a low fixed volume. I could not change it whatever I did. Do you have any suggestion ? The car is 22 Tundra
That's an odd issue. Ideally it should allow you to change the volume from the car knob. I'm not sure why that's happening. You might have to use your phone to adjust the volume in that case since you are Mirroring the phone.
Android auto automatically is asking to update when connected and when disabled is not working

I'm getting the message "no new messages during this drive". Whenever I start using the app on the screen. I used both the versions of Android auto specified by you.
Did you remove the usb cable even once while using it? It doesn't work be reconnecting it. The entire steps have to be redone in order to get it working again. This is a system glitch as of now.

@@danielstirpe4059 It works just 1 time due to the ongoing issue. It stops working as soon as the USB cable is disconnected. Redo the steps of uninstall updates and reinstall that version and then connect the USB cable and it'll work.

If your car has a USB port like I showed in the video then one end of the cable will go there and the other end will go to your phone. You may use the cable you have for charging the phone, without the adapter ofcourse. Hope it helps!🙂

You are most welcome! To be honest I was tired of searching for a solution as well so I decided to take matters in my own hands :D. Yes, that's a common issue these days. The only solution for that, it seems, is to reinstall it every time prior to using it. It is a glitch with the app. I think they are making some internal changes with the app. Works for me. It should work if all the versions match. Reinstalling it should do the trick. It's a known issue these days. I'm working on a permanent alternate solution.

AA Mirror app or AA Mirror Plus app? These are 2 different apps both in the AA Store app. Try the other one. AA Mirror plus is the latest app and is the one I displayed in the videos. Hopefully it works.

@@Vipasana5 no in that video i showed just one of the apps that you can download. One of the apps in it is aa mirror plus. Just the initial software is different. Please follow the steps carefully since only one app download is allowed in a month
I keep getting a msg that says aa mirror keeps stopping. When I click on the app from Android auto it makes my phone go to the app screen but with that msg at the bottom.
So it seems android auto won't run unless I update it. I thought I bypassed it but now I see it did update. When I install the old version and start it up it will not connect to car until update is installed.

Do the versions match? Everytime you disconnect the usb cable you'll have to redo the entire process, glitch. Unfortunately there's no other way yet. I'm looking into it.

Thanks for the video but AA Mirror Plus following these directions does not work with Android 13, Android Auto 10.5.x and Honda Autolink. Removing all Android Auto fixes as recommended creates an Android Auto app not recognized as valid by the vehicle. AA Mirror Plus does run if installed by default in this environment but there is no screen sync when you run the app. Any documentation on fixing for current software releases?

When you click it on the car screen's aa store, you will get a notification on your phone screen to allow the Mirroring. Lemme know if that was the issue.

Hi Harry, my phone updated while I slept and now AA mirror says it’s starting casting but the screen stays blank. Any idea if there is an update for a mirror? I checked aaad and it seems to still only have the original version.
Which phone are you using and what android version did ut update to? I'm not sure about any such aa version that will work since many phones are becoming incompatible due to recent aa changes.
It's a galaxy 22 ultra and it's now on Android 13
