Disregard my previous message, I already figured out how to navigate and play my RUclips videos in my Mazda screen, I don't know how to skip the commercial when the option is given, don't know if even possible, I hope there is a way, but in the mean time, my kids are so happy watching videos while I'm concentrated on the driving.

Works for me. Note 8 Android 9 with Motorola Wireless Dongle to 2017 Elantra. Car stream does work. Had to restart phone. Thanks for the upload.

I followed the video and it's working!!! Thank you much! The problem is there's a line which is showing media and home page button bottom of the screen and it's not allowing me to skip the ads and go to full screen. Anyone can share what to do is appreciated!

I had "auto updates" turned off however android auto forces an update. I looked up the AAAD app and there seems to be cases that it will not work. For example certain OS will not work. Can you offer an update with what you know about compatibility with cell phones and the OS of the cell phone. Thanks

Gary- I have watched all your videos on the NX- I am about to place an order for NX350h. Your videos have been influential to my purchase- THANK YOU again. My question that you probably dont know the answer to- would the screen size of the YT Vids be the same on the 14" screen? Looks like the 10" screen that you have is a 4:3 "Square" screen while the 14" screen is widescreen- and the possibility of the RUclips viewing screen being smaller on the widescreen than the 4:3/ I have NO problem getting the 10" screen if it shows the RUclips vids larger. I had a (beautiful) video hack on an old Mercedes S Coupe that I owned 4 years ago- and the videos looked (and sounded) amazing- and was not a distraction to me- we have a lot of traffic jams between Austin and San Antonio and "watched" a lot of DVD's LOL. Thanks again for all your videos- this onec I really want to make happen in my new NX. ONly problem with the NX? Colors are less than cool. 1 gray choice- Dark- 1 Blue choice. I am going with the dark gray metallic. Not my favorite but oh well. Thanks again- and I assume that Apple can work if they have the same software?

To answer your question, I do believe the RUclips screen would be smaller on the 10" compared to the 14". The dark gray color is nice too! It will grow on you and the YT feature is definitely nice for traffic.
Also to play RUclips on apple its a different software and steps to install (a bit more complicated).

Does this work on 2018 on a 2018 NX300? It doesnt have a touchscreen but it has a track pad.

Downloaded and Installed the Carstream! While waiting for the car to come still..
I have a 2023 highlander with android auto connected. If I follow your procedure and load utube or other apps (pandora?) onto the infottainment system, will I incur data charges on my celll phone?
It didn't work. I completed all the process but latest Android auto app launcher don't show this custom app in it so can't open it on my honda CR-V 2018 screen while connected to Android auto via wire. Till the time the carstream app is not available on the android auto app launcher, it won't work on the screen

Any idea what to do if an install failed due to phone security settings? AAAD installed but when I attempted to install the mirror package it didn't install and AAAD site says I have no more downloads.
works but 2020 lexus nx300 touchpad doesnt register on the site so i cant click on anything and doing things from my phone doesnt change the screen...
How to change music volume in carstream app? Its a lot quieter than my bluetooth or USB audio.

There's no need to uncheck auto update as I updated Android Auto and carstream still works
At the top left of the screen an orange icon for adding a bookmark has appeared. It stays there while videos are being played. How do I get rid of that?

Didn't work for me, tried installing the app after installing AAAD and it wouldn't work. Says I lost a download. I can't even go pro with my card.
I tried this but Chrome was sending me spam notifications and I had to delete everything then now I'm back to normal but I had a really dig into my phone to delete that stuff. I wonder why there's a billion videos of downloading this but nobody talks about how it installs malware on your phone that's totally not cool
