Ever wonder if you can change the car /vehicle image on the Carwebguru Launcher Road Theme / or any other theme on Carwebguru? Yes, you can! You heard it right! So in this video, I will show you how to change the vehicle image. Just make sure you watch the whole video so you won't miss anything.
Note:
You can use your computer, phone or even your Android head unit when editing the image of your chosen car. Just download a photo editor. If you wish not to edit and just search and download a car image on the web, you may do so. It's really up to you. Just make sure the file extension name should be ".png"
For best fit / result, use 300 x 300 pixels.

Bro, If I make the png to 300x300 it becomes very skewed and small
You could also edit your "back_stop" image a little from the "back_move" image by just photshopping the tail lights a bright red. The image on the screen actually changes when your car is at a full stop.

I liked your videos , and I installed carwebguru . But do you have problem with the GPS? (Map and odometer) I have to switch off and on the location permission to get it work....... am I the only one ?
Hi. You have to switch your GPS location API to Fused API (New). To do this, go to CWG Options -> Location -> GPS Location API -> then select Fused API (New). Also, don't forget to allow location permission on CWG.
How it works for me! Android 12 CWG 3.5.2-R9. Do as shown in the video. Copy and rename the png files to the cfg folder. Now, go to Options/Vehicle/Car image (Back view) (✓ Pro) and press the DEFAULT button at the top left of the screen. Thanks for the clip!

Yea, you can take a picture of your car. As long as edit it, delete the background and save as .png file. Also, make sure the size should be 300 x 300 pixels.
How to customize with new system android ?
My car image doesn't display. I did this before and it was perfect and tnx to your video. But last week when i start my car, everything went back to basic. Carwebguru launcher gone as well as my Spotify, waze etc. I downloaded all the apps again as well as the Carwebguru launcher. Then i tried to change the back image and it display nothing. I already have the back-_stop.png & back_move.png on my cfg folder. But weird thing is my car_stop.png & car_move.png are working. I have my picture of my headunit but i dont know how to send it you.

I did everything as shown in the description.

Your Android system settings might be in Dark Mode. Go to your system settings, then tap Display, turn off Dark Mode.

You need to save the file to cfg folder. Go to your device storage / Carwebguru / cfg

Hi. Best fit would be 300x300 pixels. Both side (picture) must the same size like a square.

Hi there, i have a problem with how to delete the car. I put wrong car and now i cant deleted from there even this wrong car is not on display. Every time when i put in folder cfg the car which i wanted come the image with wrong car before. I Uninstaller twice but again nothing

Hi. If you're having a hard time to do it. Just delete the file you made in the CFG folder, then restart the Launcher so that the car will go back to default. Then redo it again, just follow the steps in the video to change the car image.

Hi. Sorry but I don't know how the Sync 3 works. Is it Android as well? Check if the file format of your songs are compatible with your head unit. Also check your player if it has specific folder that will read the songs from your USB.
