Google blockiert neuerdings nicht freigegebene Apps wie AA mirror. Damit es noch funktioniert muss Google Play Dienste 12.2.21 oder älter installiert werden.

I know this video is old; but hopefully I can get an answer to my question. I have a Kia Ev6 and I can mirror using AAmirror; but the touchscreen in the car doesn't control the phone. I am unable to select items using the car's screen but must make selections from the phone. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Hey, you also need to mention at the beginning that you have to **ROOT** your phone which voids your phone's warranty. SMFH.

Doesnt work with new android phones and a 2020 kia. Samsung s10+ wontnlwt me install android auto 2.xxx even with unknown sources enabled, launch it and it says to go to play store to update.

Hello, you have to activate the developer mode, go to android auto settings and click several x on the version of the application until the developer mode is activated.

Didn't work for me, I try and at first didn't allow me to install telling me that need a new version. Later try again and allowed me but automatic updated to the new version. So fail to me.

But after I installed it automatically updates to the newest version of Android Auto. Therefore I cant use youtube video on my car stereo (sony-ax200) anymore. So what apps can be mirrored using this? Not Netflix but what about NFL? Amazon Video? Any of the Movie apps like Showtime or HBO? Sling TV?
Sean Hohensee not netflix or hbo, you will hear the sound but no image, as the application (netflix) thinks you are recording.

Here is my problem:
For info I am in France.
My phone is a S6 edge plus SM-G28F ROOT
Android 7.0
I'm using AA Mirror 1.0 and AA Phenotype Patcher 0.8.
The installation and the settings are all perfect.
In my car (Peugeot 3008) I plug the phone.
On the screen of the car I can see AA MIRROR, I click on it.
The phone screen is displayed with two black bands on the right and left and after a few seconds the phone starts looping again.
I tried to delete the application is start again but the problem is always the same.
Do you have an idea of my problem?
3008 Peugeot did you root your phone? In the video there is a pop up showing about SuperUser. That is available after rooting android. Rooting is the same as jailbreaking an IOS device.
When will this work WITHOUT root? I have a rooted LineageOS 14.1 Galaxy Tab that this DOES work on...but I have to use a WiFi puck which sucks. NEED this to work without root. When?

When I start Android Auto it first says all google services along with android auto need to be updated first. So even when I install an old version of Android Auto it asks to get updated with out any other option! That means I have no option to use an old version! Help me please !!!

When you open on old version of Android Auto, it forces you to update to the most recent version. How do you avoid this?
You have to shut off Automatic Updates of apps. You can then select which apps to apply any updates on. This way you can keep one, some or all of them, on older versions.

Ok, man muss paar mal auf "über Android auto" klicken bis die Meldung kommt, Developer Mode ist ...
Noch ne Frage, ohne es im Auto ausprobiert zu haben. Geht dann die Steuerung über das Display vom Auto automatisch oder muss im Telefon (Huawei P8lite 2017) was eingestellt werden?
So Nachtrag: um über das Autodisplay die Apps zu steuern, muss das Telefon Root Rechte haben. ansonsten lässt es sich nur per Telefon steuern. aber um blitzer.de Clevertanken, RUclips, Galerie etc zu starten uns Favoriten anzulegen ist es sehr gut.
