Wait so is this for cars that have android auto and just want to screen mirror? Or will this work on my 2019 Rav4 that doesn't have android auto, but I can mirror screen?
I know this video is old; but hopefully I can get an answer to my question. I have a Kia Ev6 and I can mirror using AAmirror; but the touchscreen in the car doesn't control the phone. I am unable to select items using the car's screen but must make selections from the phone. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Hello, you have to activate the developer mode, go to android auto settings and click several x on the version of the application until the developer mode is activated.

My phone is a S6 edge plus SM-G28F ROOT Android 7.0 I'm using AA Mirror 1.0 and AA Phenotype Patcher 0.8. The installation and the settings are all perfect. In my car (Peugeot 3008) I plug the phone. On the screen of the car I can see AA MIRROR, I click on it. The phone screen is displayed with two black bands on the right and left and after a few seconds the phone starts looping again. I tried to delete the application is start again but the problem is always the same. Do you have an idea of my problem?
3008 Peugeot did you root your phone? In the video there is a pop up showing about SuperUser. That is available after rooting android. Rooting is the same as jailbreaking an IOS device.
Didn't work for me, I try and at first didn't allow me to install telling me that need a new version. Later try again and allowed me but automatic updated to the new version. So fail to me.

I did everything in this video but when I get to 3:07 of this video, my device does not show screen that say AA Mirror and when I click on the icon on AA on the far right hand side of the screen, it says Hyundai AA and also ALL APPS, I thought maybe AA Mirror would be in All Apps, nothing. So Nachtrag: um über das Autodisplay die Apps zu steuern, muss das Telefon Root Rechte haben. ansonsten lässt es sich nur per Telefon steuern. aber um blitzer.de Clevertanken, RUclips, Galerie etc zu starten uns Favoriten anzulegen ist es sehr gut.

You have to shut off Automatic Updates of apps. You can then select which apps to apply any updates on. This way you can keep one, some or all of them, on older versions.

Go to play store and deactivate auto update
By the time you finishing clicking this and that it will be out of date. All you need usb cable it's a lot quicker.

Sean Hohensee not netflix or hbo, you will hear the sound but no image, as the application (netflix) thinks you are recording.

You must clic on aaunkock and reboot the phone it work fine.
Funktioniert nicht, da AndroidAuto sich nur starten lässt, wenn man da Update auf die neuste Version macht.
