I followed you steps it is mirroring however instead of showing my phone is mirrored it show the apps on the screen and when I try to initial any app it smears across my screen any ideas. I also purchased pro so I can try other apps that mirror and none of them will work
Okay so I did everything exactly like you said it comes up on my Android Auto but I'm not seeing anything happening on my phone? I should be getting the same screen on my phone as I'm getting on the Android auto. I should be able to see my apps on my phone scrolling at the same time seeing it on the car screen? Stream apps are black video with sound save your money. Netflix, hulu. Prime video, spectrum tv. All black video. Only u tube and a stream ap called tcm worjk

It's doing the same thing for me. Just shows the black screen on the car, but if you swipe from the right of the car screen it brings up the apps on your phone. I can open the apps on the screen but I can't mirror what's on my phone to the car screen.

The apps only and work but when you start playing it, it doesn't show, just a black screen. Stop the video and go to the menu and it shows up. Anyone have any suggestions please.

Didn't work for me, I have a 2020 Subaru Outback XT and it's currently Oct 14th 2023, I I stalled the aaMirror app and got it going in the Subaru, but when I want it to mirrors it only mirrors a black screen. Then I uninstalled the app to see if I can reinstall the APK and install carstream or fermata auto but it still won't let me for another month lol.

It's a shame this worked great for about 15 minutes in my 2022 Outlander with 100 miles on it but then makes my screen on my car go black Then I can't connect to android auto until I let my car sit overnight. I tried the mirror app twice now and both times it Stopped working exactly 15 minutes into watching a video

I installed the AAAD and then I installed the AA mirror but when I go to android auto and click on AA mirror, I only see a black page saying there are no messages to read. What should I do?
Great video brother.. still works almost a year later. Had to replace my phone and this has been great for me. If it doesn't show on the radio screen, try unplugging your USB from the head unit and reconnecting your phone.. worked for me just now. Hope this helps the person who Hadth comment about that

@@ravis1ngh, why didn't you mention, that the touch at head unit will not be usable for the apps? At least not on Samsung Note 9 with Androide 10 and many other smart phones. That is a big disadvantage.
Can I watch the android screen on a pc at home while the android is away from the home? Or does it have to be close enough to sense each other? Like if I'm at work can my daughter at home watch what I play on my phone screen? Does she see everything I do on my screen or just videos I play for her? Can she hear my phone calls or anything like that? Or just see what's on my screen?

AA Mirror DOES NOT show up on my Android Auto screen in my car. My android Note 20 is not rooted, so why doesn't it show?

Currently, no fix, try Screen2Auto, it has an option "Fix Netflix". May be that work. I haven't tested that. But will check.
You may also instal the VMOS apk and then run Netflix or Amazon Prime

Can you check the Android Auto version?
Also, allow Accessibility feature. You can reinstall it or clear App Data and then configure the AA Mirror.
