- Calling Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth one of the most massively anticipated games of the year would be a bit of an understatement, to say the very least, and it’s easy to see why that’s the case.
Everything that the developer has shown of it so far has also looked extremely promising. From its massive world to its combat improvements to the lofty promises it’s making with its setting, there’s plenty about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that has caught our eye, and in this feature, we are going to look at a few such details.

I already bought this game twice. CE bundle to never open and add to my sealed collection and a digital copy to actually play. FFVII has been my favorite game since 97, i'm all the way in.

NGL I thought this was another "I'm not buying this game again/I would if it were in ps4" comments, and then I read further and realized you're just as much a fan as I am. I already have 2 versions preordered, just so I can get the best buy steel book. SO EXCITED, doing a playthrough when it drops.

Seriously haha. Remake and Rebirth is some of our first experiences with FF7 and they just spoiled majorly...
For such a large channel, I really wouldn’t have expected you to spoil Aerith’s death for countless people who plan to play these games that never played (or beat) the original FF7… super bogus move honestly…

You didn't really need to spoil the events of the ending, there are people that have not been spoiled and will be going in blind. Same with Zack, if you've only played FF7 remake, you don't really know what happened with Zack. I know it's kind of hard to make a '15 things you need to know' video without spoiling, but maybe just say 'potential spoilers ahead' or something?
Seriously… Like literally right at the beginning. Add that to “Vince“ Valentine… They should’ve definitely gotten someone that knew what they were talking about to do this video and certainly leave out the giant spoiler in the beginning.

Guy you shouldn't have mentioned Aerith dying I've never played the 97 original and had no idea...Hope they change enough so that it still is able to surprise old and new fans of the story.

I've played the original back when it came out, as did many others, and even though the remake has shown to be making some pretty big changes, I still think that comment led into spoiler territory. People might be playing FF7 for the first time via these remakes and if they don't change the fates of certain big name characters, then I kind of feel this video takes an L for giving it away and/or not giving a spoiler warning.

Really liked the remake a lot only one part of the game I disliked and thought was super queer was when cloud got dressed up as a chick and walked and acted like a chick and danced with some flamboyant gay dude to get into that Don guy's mansion and that whole thing just didn't make any sense to me as cloud is a very straight laced no nonsense badass war vet who arguably takes everything too seriously all the time he would never get in a dress and act like a lady to sneak into some place he'd just fight his way through if he had too or sneak through not dressed up as a lady. Lol
I don't know what they were thinking on that whole angle it's something a goofy character would do like ithciban in like a dragon.

My first time playing through FF7 as a whole and video gives no inclination there are spoilers in it like the death of a main character in it. Please provide more clarity on what you’re discussing for the future audience. A title such as “things to know before you buy” makes it seem like you’re catering to an audience who wants to prepare for a new experience like maybe recommending things to do BEFORE you play.
This and dragon dogma 2 of my games I want to play the most this year
Those 2 are my most anticipated games this year, I have them both preordered, can't wait!

I'm pretty sure you don't NEED TO Know anything before you buy. Just buy it and enjoy, let the game surprise you (I'm still watching the video though...).
Final Fantasy 7 original is the best game ever made by a huge margin and Remake added the best combat system ever made to that. Rebirth will be an experience! ❤️

I think with all of the hype and anticipation leading to the end of Rebirth, it's become obvious she isn't going to die at the end of the game....but someone else will.

I never played the original FFVII (due to me not being born yet) but I played the temple cuz cloud and sepharoth are two of the coolest looking video game characters ever, and I absolutely love remake!! It’s one of my top 5 games of all time. The story is crazy good, characters are amazing and the combat is one of the best I’ve ever played!!! Rebirth is probably the most hyped I’ve been for a game in a very long time!!!
Play the original. The soundtrack alone is worth it. It's one of the few turn based games I can play.

I played remake first and enjoyed it so much that i then bought and beat the original too. Its so interesting seeing how this is a remake but also a completely seperate game at the same time. I cant wait to see the open world outside of midgard all the side content and see which direction they take the story.

I got my deluxe preorder ready.
I hope there’s a little more Squaresoft (we don’t mind characters dying, our heroes being terrorists, showing blood) and a little less Square Enix (think of the children, let’s add some padding with mundane side quests.)
I did enjoy it, but these were things that bothered me in remake.

About Side Quests u rly didn't follow Rebirth news didn't you? Cuz it will expand even more on characters not only in Side Quests also Side Quests were criticised in Remake, and now in Rebirth they want to make them similar to Witcher's 3 quality of Side Quests so yeah

Maybe, but im incredibly curious whats going on with him. So much more than i ever could be with him being dead and already knowing the main twist of the story with Cloud. So far, i think its an excellent move. Cant wait to play it

@@mindxfuneral thanks man! Yea, i see many people who jump to the conclusion that Remake has invented totally new things that will destroy the story but hopefully my video can help people see how much it is actually grounded in the OG.
Well someone has to take over as the main character when cloud sacrifices himself to save Aerith at the end of Rebirth...hypothetically of course.
Sheesh as someone who never played the original and got into the JRPG genre for the first time ever with 7 Remake and 16; it would’ve been really awesome to not have a major character’s fate be spoiled within the first 90 seconds of a video. That really really sucks for y’all to do with zero warning.

It looks like most of the Zack segments will take place in Midgar, based upon trailers and such, we haven’t seen him anywhere else in the world. And the party should be revisiting Midgar in part 3 based on the events of the original, and they’ve confirmed wutai will be in part 3 as well. So it seems like the full world will be explorable in part 3, with the highwind no less😁

Maybe I missed it but did he say anything about what happens to my Remake characters? Will I keep loadout and levels?
It wasn't stated in this video, but weeks ago, the devs said nothing will carry over from Remake as this is a completely independent game from Remake (obviously apart from the story). I have not seen how, from a story telling perspective, the game will justify loosing all items/level ups from Remake when starting Rebirth.
They did say there will be some kind of small reward at the start of Rebirth for those who've played Remake, though I'm not sure how they will verify/do that, and IMO probably don't expect more than a few special items

You get 4 summons for free. One for pre-ordering the game thru the PS store. 2 for beating FF7 Remake. 3 for beating FF7: Intergrade. 4 for buying the deluxe edition. It also includes armor pieces, soundtrack, and art book.
Zack being playable hasn't been confirmed. Quite frankly, I hope he isn't, but I'm aware he probably will.

You get a summon for having a save file from Remake I think it's Bahamut I'm not sure, & you get another summon if you have a save file with completed Intergrade ( Yuffie's Story ) you get Ramuh materia.

So 2 games and were only at the end of disc 1. Disc 1 is the longest but still. 3rd game better not get split into 2.
Why not mention that the game starts you off with practically nothing, We have read that nothing transfers over with you including all the materia we spent ages maxing out.

Well that's kind of your fault this game has been out for decades... if you're just now diving in then expect some things to be spoiled when watching videos plus the remake Trilogy will be changing some key elements so what might be a spoiler for the OG game may not be for the new games
