  • Showing an on the job-site demo of the Milwaukee Fuel M12 Circular Saw...
I had to cut some blocks out of 2×4 studs so I could use them to set up interior doors to spray paint.
This Fuel edition has a brushless motor for a longer life span.
This saw is easy to use, portible, and cordless of course.
This saw has helped me on several jobsites in the last 2-3 months.
I have many of the M12 tools and about five M12 batteries and I carry them with me to all jobs and use them at home too.
Wear safety gear such as eye protection and hearing protection when using power tools and other tools.

Hi, Thanks for the video mate. On the tool's specs it says 5-3/8 or 5-1/2 inch blade. How did you get a 5-3/4 inch blade to fit? And where did you get such blade , Didn't find anywhere :)

Yes thanks for the correction. I was mistaken when I made the video. I think I tried to correct it and was off again lol.

Yeah, it cuts but it takes a longer time. If I'm doing 1 or 2 cuts this would be great, but for all day use this won't work

Hey XC just a quick question about sprayers. I know you change back and forth between oil, shellac, and latex through one sprayer. Do you have many problems or extra maintainence you preform? Thinking of switching over one of my latex sprayer to oil for good and just wondering if I should prep my machine for it.....ie clean intake hose or filter with certain cleaners? Replace all the filters? Just looking for some tips from you since I know you switch out once and awhile

Brian Wagner Painting since you're switching from latex to oil... assuming your pump has a little clean water in it, you just have to run mineral spirits through first before the oil product. You can get new hoses if you wish to but I don't think it's necessary. If you are using lacquers you would probably want a new hose and filters. Not mandatory it just helps to the lacquer doesn't melt any latex in the hose and spit it out on your work

How many cuts on a 6amp battery do you think it would do?

      Complete guestimate, 200+ cuts?

How many cuts would it last for a full charge bat

Depends on the battery size but the 4.0 does pretty well.
100 some cuts through 4' plywood on one charge.

This saw doesn't look like it has much power from your demo. It seems to cut pretty slow and only really serves to cleanup stuff where holding the M18 Fuel saws would get too heavy. 🤔 I might have to pass on this saw and just stick with my M18 Fuel versions of saws.
    More research needed!

I would agree. This little guy works for the small of stuff I ever cut on my painting jobsites. When I get the call for actual building or finish work I'd def use the appropriate tools.

Wish they made m12 miter saw

Do you want an M12 version because you don't own any M18 batteries, or because you believe using the M12 battery system would improve the function of the saw?
I doubt it's worth the development time for them for what would most likely be underpowered in any reasonable blade / motor combination. In my experience, people tend to actually want fast cuts from miter saws. Even the M18 7-1/4 is considered underpowered by some, although that must have been a design choice, not a technology limitation considering the 10" and 12" miter saws exist. In addition, M12 is focused on portability, and even small miters aren't exactly portable.
